Mohegan Manor Restaurant
Michael our server was funny and efficient
A very good evening
This was a good experience. The service was exceptional, the food was good. It looks like the manor is in need of some modernization.
Great experience all around ! I dine in all the major metro cities and this place could hold their own with the best of them! Veal entre and Scallops were remarkable! The Seafood Bisque had a special ingredient that put it over the top. First time there felt like a friend was waiting on us and Dennis the owner couldn’t be more cordial! I never fill these things out But I feel this place is Special!!
My partner and I were the only ones in the dinning room, and the service was slow. I had to remind the waiter about our drinks, he kept forgetting items. Also, the music over the stereo system was horrible that night! There was this wretched screeching crescendo that accompanied the jazz music that we found incredibly annoying. The food was good, I liked the veal, the beef soup was fantastic, but I cannot say it was worth the price. The calamari steak was not good, I would toss that off the menu. This was our second time there, I cannot say we plan to go back. Unfortunately.
Service was outstanding, Michael is a great server. Food, for the most part, was very good, some things were excellent but one dish was just ok and for the price, that's not good enough. The room needs a good dusting. There are cobwebs behind the tapestry on the wall and the wall hangings. The room, because of its structure, is loud and unfortunately, I could hear everything going on at the other tables.
The food is WAY overpriced for the quality. Paid $42 for a veal chop that didn't taste like veal & was undercooked. Snapper fish special was overcooked and tasteless. The same muszack song played on a loop over & over again. No surprise the dining room was empty on a Friday night.
Great food and service.
Waiter was knowledgeable re: menu & gave on-the-mark recommendations.
Owner stopped by our table to greet us & ask about our meals. 6 people ordered 6 different meals. All very good.
We had a fantastic wedding anniversary meal at Mohegan manor. The Food was fantastic , service by the owner Dennis, & waiters Michael & Jimmy brilliant & the bill most reasonable.
My wife & I heartily recommend this lovely restaurant!
Very nice dining experience.
Loved the wine list. Definitely 5 Star dinning and great atmosphere. Owner Dennis was on-site working the tables with great attention to detail making sure everyone was satisfied. Very impressive.. looking forward to dinning at the Mohegan Manor again
This restaurant was beyond my expectations. My husband ordered a steak, which was cooked exactly the way he requested and I had the seafood pasta special, which was delicious. The wait staff was attentive and professional. There was nothing about the visit that was anything less than wonderful.
The beef-mushroom soup was a disappointment--tough beef strips and not much mushroom--but the rest of the dinner was fine. I had the filet with some delicious garlic mashed potatoes, and my husband had a steak that was cooked a lot rarer than the medium he had ordered, but he said it tasted OK. The desserts were good, and the service was very attentive.
Very nice restraint. Good service. Food was excellent. Their version of Utica Greens was tasty and not too salty. Would visit again.
Not only was the Waiter very kind and attentive, but the food tasted excellent. While the prices are higher than other Restaurants; the portions and great taste make up for it. The visit was very pleasant and I would go back again.
Dining at the Mohegan Manor has always been a treat! We dine there at least once a summer, as we are seasonal residents in the area, and we often take visitors. The service is excellent, and the food is always delicious.
The Service was excellent and so was the food. The staff was friendly and the owner came to the table to make sure that all was going well. I recommend Mohegan Manor to anyone who is looking for a good place to eat with a lot of charm.
Have already recommended Mohegan Manor to a friend who asked about our dinner there.
I consider Mohegan Manor to be above average to outstanding in all categories.
The staff is fantastic and always create the best dining experience no matter what area you dine or socialize. The atmosphere is fantastic and when the bands play it adds a little spice that keeps things interesting. This perfect combination will keep us coming back.
Very nice restaurant in an area that seriously lacks upper end dining options. Great attention was paid to our large group of dads and daughters.
The food was beyond exceptional! Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly.
Great Restaurant, Awesome Food, Awesome Staff, Very Ellagent Place, A bit Pricy but worth it The Staff are very attentive to your needs , One of the Chefs/Owners Jason Reith went out of his way and visited our Table Twice to make sure we were Happy !! 5 Stars I Highly recommend this Restaurant
The waiter took 20 minutes to greet us. The food was good once it finally came. The sushi was fantastic. Service was very slow and our server brought the wrong dessert and still charged us for it.
Sushi selection was great and the entree selections were enjoyable. Wish it was a little more crowded; too quiet the night we went.
What a really nice establishment Mohegan Manor was. From the moment you entered the restaurant, you felt at ease and comfortable. Our waiter was so very helpful, and explained dishes to us as well as the wine. We chose a sushi dish for an appetizer to share, and we were so happy with our choice. There are so many sushi rolls and dishes that look equally appetizing, and ours was so fresh and had delightful flavors. I chose a wonderful scallops dish, which melted in my mouth, along with a salad. My husband chose a lobster dish in a butter sauce, which was also delectable and tender as well as a salad. The waiter was attentive, and we had a delightful time. We are sure we will come again, and also bring our family as well.
Food was incredible. The wait staff was very attentive and not obtrusive at all. As we were leaving the owner asked if we were heading to their other location just down the street where they have an outdoor fire pit and bar. We did in fact go and were pleasantly surprised when the co owner came up and said he was glad to see we came and visited. He stopped several times to chat. Awesome place with great service. Highly recommended!
The sushi was amazing and the bartender was very nice and helpful. We even had a conversation with another gentleman at the bar which was very nice. For dessert we had the black raspberry frozen yogurt/ice cream and it was amazing! We will definitely be returning! Great experience!
It's nice to have a restaurant in the area where a very good tasting menu can be had. Each course was both delicious and elegant in presentation. The wait staff was great. Having some of the courses presented by the chefs (Kevin and Scott) was special.
We were looking for a new place to have dinner with friends, decided to try the Manor. Food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Would highly reccomend the facility.
During a recent stay at a B&B north of Syracuse NY, we found this gem in the heart of Baldwinsville NY. A very unique old style restaurant with tin ceilings, fireplace, and loads of ambiance. There's a sushi bar right in the lounge so enjoy a plate of fresh, hand made sushi with an excellently crafted cocktail before you dine. Nice wine list and professional staff. Everything from cocktails to dessert were perfect portions, nice presentation, and reasonably priced. We especially enjoyed the Escargot with gorgonzola. Very high level of service, something that is hard to find. We'll definitely be back
a friend suggested Mohegan Manor for dinner. its not hard to find but it is hidden among storefronts. i great place to eat and drink. the drinks were perfect and the food was great. We came for the steaks but had sushi as appetizers and they were made to perfection. highly recommended.
I'm very sorry to say, but I did not enjoy my experience overall. My seever, Mark, was great though. Mark made sure my group and I were having a great time. It is a shame to say that when it came to paying, it was ridiculous. At one point the owner came over and told my table that for each person on the reservation for open table, it cost him five dollars for each person to even have the reservation made on Open Table. I will not be recommending Mohegan Manor to anybody.
Took my wife here for our 5th anniversary and we loved it! The owner and staff worked with me to surprise my wife with a special bottle
of Dom Perignon I brought to the restaurant hours before our dinner. $15 corkage fee was very reasonable, and the service was spot on! Our appetizer and dinners were delicious and the chef even came to our table to wish us a happy anniversary. A big thank you to the owner and staff for perfect night out!!
We were at Mohegan Manor for the Basta Ristaurante 6 course tasting menu. This was our second time trying the tasting menu and it was as good as the first one in May/June. The service was a bit iffy at first, we had to wait about ten minutes for the host to arrive and seat us and service was slow to start, but the two waiters eventually got things moving at a very nice pace and food was very good. We are looking forward to the opening of this additional B'Ville restaurant and we hope they keep idea of a tasting menu after opening.
We attended a wedding at the Red Mill Inn in Baldwinsville not knowing the area and had a night to fend for ourselves for dinner. NOT much there but decided to try Mohegan manor. Excellent choice. Other places were recommended but we thought this place looked nice. Coming from the NY City area we found Mohegan Manor to be up there with the best restaurants. the service was excellent, the food outstanding, and the outdoor dining was a pleasure. If we were to ever go back to visit our relatives there, no doubt we would go back. Worth it on all levels!!!
Preparation and presentation of food at dinner time is taken to an art form. No matter what is ordered all is outstanding. Service is taken seriously and performed skillfully.
My husband I ventured out on a hot busy Saturday night. We were delighted with the cool. Calm ambience of the dining room and the attention from the staff as we were greeted seated and consulted on the chefs specialties. They pay attention to detail in all they do from the customer service and comfort to the elegant and thoughtful presentation of their dishes. This is not a place for bargain hunters or penny pin hers. I enjoy high quality food . We do not like large quantities of sub par food as we often encounter in other restaurants. We prefer to go less often and have a great experience, every time than have an ok experience more often. I rate them 5 stars!
An outstanding place to eat and relax in Central New York. Elegant service, wish to die for food, quiet, with an early 20th century ambience.
My wife & I were extremely pleased with all aspects of the evening. A very personal touch from entering the front door to leaving.
Service, menu & wine selections were very notable. Looking forward to our next trip.
Dennis & his staff are exceptional. The food is always delicious & the sushi so fresh we love it here!
