Mojave is the hidden gem of Astoria. Always serving the best food and drinks. The Mojave wings and guac are our go-to apps. We had the steak and shrimp tacos. Everything was delicious.
Large frozen margarita is a must.

I truly loved going to Mojave but for some reason it seems to be
losing something. The staff is wonderful but the food is not as good as it use to be.

Great as always! Plenty of space between tables. We are outside in the back and it was a gorgeous night! I def recommend a pitcher of margaritas!

I've been to Mojave many times before. They have great service and the waiters are very nice. My friend and I went while it was still breakfast, but we wanted tacos. The server we had asked the chef and they made it for us. Amazing service and the food is great.

We got there early for our reservation we were asked if we wanted backyard seating or seating in the front , we asked for backyard. Not once did the worker let us know there was a private event happening in the back. We got back there it was super loud , no one came to ask us what we wanted to eat or drink. We decided to just leave . I just felt like it was poor customer service and if you knew you would have a large party let us know or don’t offer the table

Great outdoor patio...the servers were pleasant and the food very good. I suggest the chicken tinga empanadas!

It was cold, heat lamps would’ve come in handy. The service was slow but it wasn’t bothersome because I was in the good company of my friends. The Mexican corn was delicious as was the Sangrita! :)

Dinner was ok , the service was slow , we had to wait a lot for drinks , we didn’t like them , plastic cups is a No no

We booked for my friends birthday for 3 people. when we got there we were placed at a random leftover table with space for only 2 people...waited 15 mins for a 3rd chair while we stood. I was told we would be moved to a better table for 40 mins and the server who happened to be the bartender took no sympathy and just gave attitude when I explained that I was disappointed we didn’t even have a real table when we made a reservation. Took even 20 mins to put in an order for appetizer and drinks. Terrible experience never coming back.

I love this place! Their outdoor seating is SO nice and I never knew it existed before. Food was amazing (have lots of vegan-able dishes, too!) and drinks were good and strong! Perfect place for dinner with friends/family or brunch/lunch. I definitely recommend this place to all!

Really nice restaurant! Definitely recommend, their backyard dinning area is beautiful i just wish they had speakers available there to listen to music while eating it was just a bit too quiet besides that it was a really nice experience

Had a great experience, drinks as food was yummy! We all got different tacos and they were great and filling. We were the only ones there but it was nice to not have anyone around. The back patio was really nice. We took many pics. The serves checked up on us frequently as well. The cake for my birthday was great as well!

Our reservation was for 815PM. We waited for about a half hour to be seated. Which, on a rainy night during this COVID19 season, isn't horrible. People are enjoying being outside finally and will take a little longer to leave a table.
Once the hostess came to seat us, we were taken to the back dining area, where she pointed to a table for 2 next to a VERY FULL garbage can, several bottles of bleach, cleaning supplies AND a orange hose that was at least neatly wrapped up.
The bleach bottles, hose and cleaning supplies were at eye level once a person sat down. They were on a mid wall shelf.
I turned to my husband and said, "Ready to go?" followed by us turning on our heels and leaving.

How anyone could think this is acceptable, is far beyond my comprehension. This spoke volumes. That not only did management not care about keeping a presentable eating area, they also didn't care to hire workers who took initiative in being observant, and put those hazardous materials where they belong: in a closet with the mop or in a shed. Just AWAY from eating customers.
I wish I took a photo to share with you who's reading this, but trust me, you'd be offended and confused too.

Don't bother eating here as there are Mexican food trucks that have better seating.

The food and drinks Were fantastic. We had a 11AM reservation and they didn’t seat us for Awhile however, we’re in the middle of a pandemic and they were open and things happen. I will absolutely be back!

Unfortunately for us when I went for my birthday it was super hectic. The one server they had did the best he could but he was running around like crazy. The amount of mosquitoes they had in the out door eating are was insane they should definitely look into some citronella candles or maybe some citronella oil for the the tikis they have that btw they do not light! So if you like swatting mosquitoes with one hand while you eat with the other, this is the place for you ,

Made a reservation for 2:00 pm and didn’t get seated until after 2:20. The waiter took forever to take our order and once he did it took 30-40 min to get drinks on the table and another hour for food. Once we got our food, it was cold. The potatoes were undercooked and the steaks were all cooked the same even though some asked for well done.

Great Mexican restaurant in Astoria. Food was good and served piping hot.

Only issue was that the restaurant didn’t initially mark my reservation as attended. I received an email saying I missed the reservation.

I went for Valentine's brunch with my friends and although i cannot remember my waitress' name, she was INCREDIBLE!

Also, Fran- the mngr was super lovely as always :) thank you!

It was lovely and i like the experience i just wish they didn’t put me right next to the DJ booth i couldn’t even hear my boyfriend who was right in front of me speak and then we had to be by this party who they had cap off the table with so she would’ve right on our table it was like what the hell. Still though the overall was a wonderful experience.

Sat at the high tables for happy hour and the bartender Chris was absolutely amazing! Food and drinks are always delicious! Fun atmosphere, great happy hour specials.

The food tasted great. Unfortunately everything was luke warm or room temperature. All food should come out hot at the same time. It’s all about timing. Other than that I’ll be back. I’ll just request everything should be hot when coming out of the kitchen. But that won’t stop me from coming back. The food is always great.

Mojave was great they were very accommodating upon arrival. Only suggestion is to keep the good music going

Skirt steak and mashed potatoes were AMAZING!!! Spicy guacamole was so good, I couldn’t stop eating it! Lol. And sangritas are a must! So good!
