One of my favorite restaurants in Portland. Drinks are consistently good as well as the food. The portions are fair and the quality is high. Will definitely be dining here regularly. The staff is wonderful as well :) Service is always on point and the hosts do a wonderful job

We made a reservation for the sushi tasting experience without realizing it required 24-hours notice. We showed up and despite our error, they graciously decided to make it work. We sat at the chef’s counter and Chef did an amazing job preparing incredible plates for us. It will be one of the top dining experiences of our lifetimes! Highly recommend!

Unbelievably fresh, melt in your mouth sushi and their Uni pasta is a must try. Excellent service too. Probably the best sushi in Portland. There are cozy spots for couples or huge booths for groups and families. Highly recommend!

Wow, what an amazing date we had here! The sake was delicious and the plates and dishes were beyond good. Best sushi dishes I’ve had in Portland so far. The staff was attentive and we were seated in a private back room with the prettiest lights. Bartender was also very informative and helpful letting us taste test before choosing a sake. Would come back here any day!

Terrible service. We were greeted poorly and the hostess never checked me in when I mentioned it several times. The server was not pleasant and mixed up our orders .. did not even apologize .. We have ordered takeout from here several times, but wanted to come sit down in the restaurant in person. It did not disappoint at all, and was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend the Uni pasta, and cod dishes.

We came here for New Year’s Eve and could not be happier! It was easy to get a table relatively last-minute, we had an almost private room, the restaurant is very big and lovely! - the pictures online don’t do it justice. The service was amazing, very attentive and actually great suggestions from the waiter! But the real star is the FOOD! The spicy garlic edamame was so hot and fresh and flavorful, then we had the salmon nigiri tasting that was melt in your mouth good, followed by some crispy rice spicy tuna rolls with jalapeño that were delicious and unique! The dragon roll was great, but the showstopper was the LOBSTER roll!! California roll topped with succulent tempura lobster, tobiko amd spicy Mayo - TO DIE FOR! The agedashI tofu was the best I have ever had and I’ve lived all over the world. So hot and crisp and perfectly breaded with bonito and dashi. They are generous with the wasabi and ginger as well! Will DEFINITELY be back! Best sushi in Portland!!!!

12 course omakase was fabulous and the sushi chefs serving us were informative and fun to talk to. Could’ve done the 15 but definitely didn’t need it hunger-wise. I left super content but not stuffed. Cocktails are yummy and generous, and the sake tasting flight was a fun option too. It was definitely not cheap but I would do it again for a special occasion.

Memorable authentic Japanese cuisine that’s surprisingly affordable in the heart of downtown Portland. The kind, knowledgeable server/owner pointed out the highlights of their menu, and practically all the items we ordered was superbly satisfying. Definitely worth the day trip to show Portland to my visiting L.A. friends.

Beautiful place and we highly recommend. I booked the sushi bar experience with my two kids who were both celebrating milestone birthdays - 21 and 30 - and it was epic. The sushi chef was fantastic, the food incredible and the service impeccable. We had an amazing evening and loved ever minute of it and we left feeling full and grateful - thank you!
