Awesome restaurant! Delicious food. Will go back. Recommended.
We had a wonderful evening. However, another group that came after made so much noise that we could not have our little conversation.
Hi, the foods taste pretty good, the size absolutely not worth with the price. The lady staff friendly but the other staffs not friendly at all, he even didn’t smile to customer or say excuse me or thank you. I think you need to train your staff to be more friendly to customer as well as the bartender. When the waiter clean the empty plate he makes to much noise.
Food was delicious, however portions were small considering the price of each dish. Service was average- seated on a table outside and the waiter did not come to check on our table to take our order and when we asked for the menu to later order the dessert, the waiter had turned around and forgotten to bring it to us for 20 mins. As this restaurant has an active presence, I asked to about some of the dishes and the waiter said he has "no idea" and "that item doesn't exist" even though it was a dish that was posted recently, his reasoning for not knowing being that he is new.
Overall though, their dishes are unique and definitely worth trying at least once especially during their truffle season.
Excellent place to dine in for date night. It is also next to the brother restaurant Koi so we hop over there for take away dessert afterward.
Delicious dishes. Truffle items are unbelievable. Must do.
The food was delicious. It came out extremely fast and was very tasty.
Excellent food and service just didn’t appreciate the forced tip because we had no choice but to tip.
Great food, priced really well and very tasty. The Chilli crab egg noodle, Black Truffle Cheesecake and Koi Bobba is a must!
We ate the Ox tongue entre with the black truffle egg noodle and the wagyu beef bowl with egg and additional truffle with the boba dessert
The Entre was excellent as was the black truffle egg noodle but I feel that the truffle flavour was overpowered within the beef bowl and it may not be worth paying the extra money for that dish. I believe it is better as is.
The dessert was good though KOI is just next door so it may be better to pop in there for dessert.
Overpriced, poor service, had high expectations but were not met.
The place is a bit tiny and hard for us to move, the food is average but the price expensive.
Food overall was nice and flavoursome but it was cold to the touch when it arrived as well as the service is poor and rude.
Great food and excellent staff. Very cold as small space and doors are always opening and closing so dress warmly in winter.
We were excited to lunch at Monkey's corner after hearing so much about their truffle menu. Portion sizes were disappointing and points to a wider culture in Australian dining where restaurants earn reputations based on celebrity endorsements and insta trends but ultimately lack the level of service or quality in their offering. I have had truffles in various countries all over the world and the ones served here were surprisingly lacking in their characteristic smell and taste (unusual for an otherwise strong flavored ingredient). So much so, I felt like perhaps the truffles had not been handled properly or worse were imitation truffles (if such a thing exists) ! Will not be recommending or returning.
Too small portion too expensive. Not worthed for paying that much.
Chili Spanner crab noddles where amazing!!!! Defenetly we will be back
Amazing small dishes that are flavorful. Food menu is small but neither is the venue. Cocktails are also delicious. Staff are friendly and overall it’s worthwhile.
Very tasty food enjoyed with family in a warm inviting atmosphere topped off with friendly and efficient service. Highly recommended. Can’t wait to come back.
Drinks were were nice although service was slow. Can't rate the food as we didn't order any but the menu looked delicious.
I was very happy with the service provided to my partner and I. It was my partner’s first time there and he loved it! The customer service was exceptional and the food was outstanding. We left very happy and satisfied. Thank you so much!
Food was really nice, drinks were delicious, no noise, only drawback was the service was almost non-existent. Had to go seek out service from the bar and kitchen ourselves to order more food or drinks.
Otherwise very good.
Portions were really small, especially for the price we paid. Went to the food court at spice alley right after our meal at Monkey’s Corner. Would be good if they increased portion size by a little or include some sides in their menu. Tastes good though!
The food was delicious. Together with the desert. There is no negative comment.
Great food and amazing service!! Would definitely recommend Monkeys corner to everyone
seafood was not fresh, but the sauce on top was good
Beautiful food, loved the crack bowl and spanner crab chilli noodles!
Cocktails were beautiful, the geisha was the crowd favourite with a lovely yuzu & raspberry flavour!
Definitely will return 😊
Beautiful food and great service! Dishes brought out in perfect timing, and tasted amazing.
We had the prawns for entre, chilli crab noodles, spicy trout tartare, and edamame beans for main. It was all delicious but the chilli crab noodles were the standout! Yummo!
Love the Monkeymie- delicious pork belly.
Ox tongue is tender and cooked nicely.
Great customer service.
Will visit again.
Always exceeding my expectations, the food was absolutely delicious. Everything we ordered was beautiful presented and the taste matched its look. Would definitely recommend.
One of the best places to dine out in Sydney. The menu is quite limited but it’s because the chef and crew dedicate a lot of time and energy to ensure each dish is spectacular. Must try the spanned crab noodles!
I like the fusion cuisine there with Malaysian and Japanese. But the taste is too strong, too much salt and spices. The menu hasn’t been updated for long time. The Duck was yummy but the ingredients were too fat. Next time to go, maybe after few months, hope the menu will be updated with some new dishes.
Food was ok. Price is very expensive for what you get. The portion is very very small.
Ordered 4 dishes for 2 of us and still hungry ...
Great cozy place. Group of 3, thoroughly enjoyed the staff, food and atmosphere, we will be back.
Great food! That definitely is undeniable, however the price doesn't exactly match the quantity you receive.
Portions are quite small but definitely tasty. Head there for their beef tongue and crack bowl. Pair them up with a good cuppa of sake!
Overrated. The crab noodle creation felt like having an instant noodles mix with some spaghetti sauce. Portion is way to small compared to the price they charge. I have to order three mains just to make us full.
