   Been here before..portions are large and food has been excellent. Not sure what happened last night? It was very busy..lots of birthday celebrations including my friend's. Service was sporadic.and food, while very good, was delivered lukewarm (or not cooked/grilled as stated on the menu). i.e. grilled romaine salad was not grilled. There were long waits between courses too. Regardless, hoping this is a one-off as I really like this place.

   The food was excellent. Our waitress was excellent not even writing down our order and getting it just right. The waiter at the adjacent table was a little loud. The dining area was full so the noise level was above normal.

   Last minute long time friends get together and because of reputation and location I chose Monacacy Crossing because everything is always great. Making reservations online was helpful and convenient. Josie was our server and ensured our evening was relaxed, enjoyable and just perfect. We had said we were not in a hurry and Josie was was attentive and patient with us. My dinner (Buttermilk fried chicken) was tasty, tender and perfectly cooked) my friends dinners (filet and fish special) were both delicious. The staff is always friendly and cheerful. Monacacy Crossing is my favorite go to restaurant. Keep up the excellent work. MES ☘️☘️☘️

    We always have a good meal here! I love going in the warmer months and sitting on the deck but we sat in a high top in the bar area for the first time and it was great. We each had a cocktail which was delicious and a good pour and quality for the price. My husband had the fish special (Walleye) and I had the sirloin salad and shared the blueberry buckle for dessert. Everything was wonderful and we saw a lot of other diner’s plates coming out and everything looked fantastic. Our server was the perfect attentiveness and we will definitely return!

    Fantastic birthday dinner with my friends. The Duck Nachos and Crab Deviled eggs were to die for so good. The steak salad was popular with our group. I got a pasta with a cream red sauce and scallops and shrimp. Beyond flavorful. My only complaint was after we paid we sat and chatted for awhile. The waitress never came back to fill our water. It was like she was saying get out. I just feel for as much as we paid for our meal: adult drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts she could at least came back and filled our water.

    Always a great place to eat. Our party had the pickled veggies, the deviled eggs, the pork tenderloin entree, the shrimp and scallops over pappardelle, and the sweet potato cheesecake and homemade ice cream for dessert. All were excellent!

    Sister’s 50th birthday celebrated. Open table app was easy to use. Our table was ready when we arrived. The server was knowledgeable and antics our needs. Drinks were on point. Salmon was delectable. Will definitely be back.

    Josie was an excellent waitress with a sense of humor. The specials of the evening were excellent as was the fillet mignon that was ordered off the menu. It was perfectly cooked at medium and the kitchen cheerfully substituted fries for the mashed potatoes.

    Wonderful and reasonably priced menu choices. A favorite of mine—the crispy deviled eggs with crab. Absolutely divine. Salads delicious. Well dressed while not overly so. Pleasant staff. A bit of a distance from Bethesda but 100% worth the drive.

    My husband and I decided to celebrate Valentines Day after “the day” at one of our favorite special occasion spots. I had no trouble booking a table but was surprised they were absolutely packed so I guess it’s more common now to celebrate after Valentines Day. The food and service is always great here! Josie our waitperson was friendly and very attentive. We shared our favorite appetizer the Crispy Deviled Eggs which was delicious as usual but seemed a bit smaller in number than we remembered it (?). My husband had the beef medallions and I had the tuna tartare - both delicious and we had to take home a bit! Of course we also had to take home a couple of desserts - the Raspberry lemon torte and the Chocolate Cherry tart - and there was nothing leftover once we decided to go after them! I only wish we were a bit closer so we could visit more often! Love this place

    Saw the almost 5 stars reviews and decided to go try it out. Sat in the bar area and service was quick but forgot items ordered, entrees came out right after appetizer. Food was not worth the price. Won’t be trying again.

    Outstanding as usual. Wonderful service! Everything was delicious- buffalo cauliflower appetizer, burger special & wild mushroom stroganoff - all fantastic. And the desserts - OMG! House-made salted caramel ice cream was amazing (and I don’t even like ice cream). And the coconut pound cake is reason enough to come back! Sooo good. The picture does not do it justice.

    I had the wedge salad with Shrimp and Scallops with Pappardelle. My wife had a Caesar salad and the Chicken Fried steak. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. My scallops were up there with the best I've ever eaten. Service was attentive by leisurely paced - no rushing. We're new to the area. This was my second visit and my wife's third. We'll definitely be back and will highly recommend Monocacy Crossing to others.
