Montana's BBQ & Bar - Barrie North

Brittney was an amazing server, very friendly and personable.
Wine was well chilled, Caesars, spinach dip and antojitos were delicious.
Clean restaurant will come back again!

My son and I went for dinner on a Sat night and under the COVID rules enjoyed our experience and meal.

We had a sirloin steak dinner at Montana's. The steak was well seasoned but tough. The fries we cold and greasy. The service was good and our waitress did everything she could to make our visit as good as it could be.

My Favorite spot in Barrie on Cundles...food is alwaays great and steak is always cooked right....The staff are always happy...a really nice place to eat

I prefer the south end Montana's. Down there, the seating is much nicer.
North one has too many tables and chairs. Booths are much nicer and more popular.

We found our dining experience a little rattling. We don't eat out much due to health issues so looked forward to our rib dinner. We have dined at this location before this date so knew before we arrived, the atmosphere and ambiance was relaxing. However, the louder music plus some very noisy children did not make for an enjoyable evening. We had reservations for 6:30pm, our food came shortly after so the noise level was unbearable at times even at this later time. The manager was very accommodating as she cleared our table when passing by us and when asked, she did turn down the music slightly. I don't know if we will return to any Montana's if the noise level will continue to be unbearable. We have never noticed this problem before, just in other restaurant chains such as Eastside Mario's, Crabby Joe's, etc. Also my dinner partner wears hearing aids which just aggravated his situation.

Great atmosphere. A little slow service even though not busy, but waitress was good. Food was great for size and temperature. Our table of 5 were happy overall.

The food is always delicious and the staff very friendly despite a very busy night. Location is great too near the theatre and shops. Nice they honour CAA members with 10% off food and in the summer the patio is very nice too.

Although we frequent Montana's in the south quite often, this location was only our second visit. We had a great meal, the service was fast, staff and management were very friendly. We will return soon.

Thoroughly enjoyed our day. Food for value vey well worth it. The staff were excellent! Music was a bit to loud. We are returning in mid January.

Our table was reserved and waiting for us when we arrived. Server was attentive and the food was great.

Alas, I had hoped this Montana’s was different than others. But it was worse. The food was mediocre at best. No utensils when we were seated. Food came out and we had to wait another 5 mins.

Steak was underdone. Then it was burnt.

I think it’s time I just gave up on Montana’s.

Outstanding service by Betty! Can’t go wrong with the sirloin steak. Great selection of steak sauces at each table. Kid friendly atmosphere too.

This was my second time at this location and both times the food has been exceptional. I live in Alliston and we have a fairly new Montana's but have not heard anything good (food not good, service very poor) so I'd rather drive the 1/2 to this location as I know it will be good.

Great place to enjoy lunch or dinner with family & friends. Food was tasty and service was fantastic! Will definitely return.

Decent food for a chain restaurant. Loud in the restaurant but that is pretty typical. Service was quick & efficient.

Disappointed since the beginning. I booked a table three weeks ago to celebrate my wife’s Birthday with two other friends. When I arrived, I told the waitress about my reservation, she said the table was already take. I said to her, what do you mean? She said the other waitress gave the table other guess (notice we arrived five minutes earlier, so how could this been even possible). She apologize but it took 10 minutes for them to find me another table. But things did not end there. The service was incredible slow, and the place is so loud you can barely enjoy a conversation.
Not thinking to come back there any time soon, and definitely will not recommend it to a friend.

Had a great meal, server was exceptional. Will cetainly be back.

Cobb Salad, it was not as fresh as I would have liked it for the price. Chicken breast was not the best texture and salty

The only issue I had was that they did not have my reservation, which was made through OpenTable. Luckily we were still able to get a table without waiting.

My husband and I both ordered medium rare steak. Mine was blue his was great. I was unable to eat mine. My Caesar salad was good however my loaded baked potatoe was not loaded and was so cold it would not melt butter!

We made reservations for 12 people for lunch on our lunch hour. Even though Montana's knew there were going to be 12 of us, they weren't really staffed enough. Service was slow and we had to get back to work. Other than that, the food was excellent!

It was nice night, they did happen to mix up our steaks but it was still delicious and a nice evening enjoyed.

Service was great. Staff were friendly and enjoyable. Food was good services hot and well presented. Like the BBQ sauces.
