ALWAYS great food and service!
Food was delicious, as always. The service was not up to par. We received our food before we received our drinks. However, we know that times are difficult, so we didn't let it affect our evening.
Sadly, I can’t really rate the food, etc, because we didn’t get to eat there. They’d closed bc of a Covid concern, which I totally appreciate. What I didn’t appreciate was that there was no notification to us that they were closed. So, after following their advice to take the street car to city park and then stroll through city park to the restaurant, we arrived, really hungry, to find them closed.
We came here on a recommendation from Harriet from New Orleans School of Cooking and we were not disappointed. The Crispy Green Beans were delicious, as were the drumsticks. The Nuoc Mam Caramel sauce was delicious! The food came out quickly and was hot! Definitely recommend!
Need more fresh menu items. After I had the poutine appetizer, I didn’t want another fried dish for dinner.
We ate a celebratory meal, I had the shrimp, coconut, and grits bowl while Sparkles had the roasted pork belly bowl, both were scrumptious. We started the meal with an order of the absolutely delicious crispy chicken wings with a layer of lemongrass, ginger, & chili seasoning over them, plenty for two.
We ate in the deck area. Excellent food, extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. We had a great experience.
I don't just love MoPho, I crave it. The food is outstandingly consistent. Our server, Michael was amazing. Possibly one of the best ones I've had...ever. He was attentive without being annoying. Had great suggestions and described each dish perfectly.
Our server, food and drinks were fantastic!@
Meal was great! Had an amazing sampling from across the menu. We had 2 10yr olds with us and they loved it as well!
If you have to leave the restaurant to go grab something to eat then even a cheap dinner is overpriced. I hope it was just an off night because pho broth was awful.
Each of our party of 4 enjoyed their meals. The server helped to ensure that the one member of our party with a food allergy was accommodated. We did request an table outside yet we were seated inside where the AC was working so we needed to grab a sweater to be comfortable indoors.
We skipped starters, and the two of us shared three mains. It was so good that I'm still thinking about my good life choices a day later
Delicious and a great server
Don’t let the strip mall location fool you, food was delicious. New take on Vietnamese fusion, was happily surprised. If you don’t expect to see traditional pho here, you’ll be delighted too.
Delicious flavorful food. They need to update their website menus.
Loved it. One of my favorites
Very limited menu, and yet still out of some things. Extremely spicy - heat replaced flavor. Expensive for whatnot was.
The food and service were fabulous! The chicken pho was just the thing for a chilly evening.
Enjoyed the shrimp poboy and chicken noodles bowl both with the glazed nuoc mam. We also shared the flash fried green beans , recommended by our server Paul. Delicious and unique. This is a casual spot near City Park, with an outdoor patio and a full bar. We loved the spice level and one of a kind menu options from this inventive chef. If you can, try MayPop, the upscale restaurant from the same chef. Terrific!
Food was awesome!
Good food. Unique in New Orleans. Should be on everyone's list.
Everything was excellent, cocktails, wine, food, and service, looking forward to seeing additional items come back to menu.
I was pretty impressed with the food. The flavors were abundant. The bartender was knowledgable about the few items I ordered.
The food was delicious as always. We sat on the patio. The server seemed a little defensive.
Our last few experiences have been a disappointment. Mopho was our favorite go to place up until covid. We keep supporting it knowing how hard Michael has worked to stay open and support his staff but the quality of the food and selection has declined. We will continue to go while it works to come back to a 5 star restaurant.
My husband and I were site seeing at the City Park and was very hungry and thirsty. We saw Mopho on Yelp and decided to try it. The food was great and our waiter took good care of us. The restaurant was clean and well air conditioned. We really enjoyed our lunch
Excellent food. We sat on the back patio. A good value
Food is consistently good. Those wings and string bean apps are a must. Keep up the good work. Mopho gave back to community during hurricane ida so support this wonderful place and its staff
Great food, affordable. We needed some pho after hurricane stress. Would recommend.
Perfect in every way. Salt, fat, acid & heat. Texture, color, fresh vs. braised. all in a single dish. What more can you ask for?
Amazing service, delicious food.
Carole always takes great care of us. Food is excellent as well.
Went for dinner with the family. Love the wings, truly some of the best you’ll ever taste. I got the beef special excellent, my wife a shrimp and grits plate. Unfortunately the grits were cold. She asked to return the plate. The waitress was very apologetic took the plate and came back several minutes later with cold grits.
We’ve eaten here numerous of times and this is truly the first time we’ve been a bad meal.
They seemed a bit short staffed. We waited an unusually long time to be seated and for the waitress to first approach. I tried the Burmese pork curry spring rolls and cucumbers which were pretty good. However I was grossly underwhelmed with the chicken drumsticks and my husbands shrimp po mi. The drumsticks were lacking in flavor and the po-mi, which was supposed to be a combination po boy and bahn mi, was a bahn mi with the smallest shrimp I’ve ever seen used for a sandwich. Shrimp repeatedly fell out of his sandwich. I was not impressed and would not return to this establishment.
Always serving great food! Will return again soon.
We had the glazed pork belly spring rolls and the fried oyster banh mi sandwich. Both were delicious.
Service was great!
Due to the reduced menu, we each (3 patrons) got the beef pho. The meatballs were over-seasoned on this trip in comparison t previous trips. The waiter was nice and on top of helping us with our service needs. Other than the reduced menu items available, I did not feel my eating experience reduced from COVID cutbacks.
Just a dinner with three friends, the food was phenomenal although they were out of j gradients for several cocktails. Would 10/10 recommend going just for the food.
