Had a lovely dinner here, service was exceptional and food was amazing. Will definitely return, thank you!
We were pleasantly surprised with how good Morgans is. We had a mix of entrees, pasta and the Sunday roast of beef. All meals were excellent, but a bit too big. We hate waste. The quality of the food was very good.
We will definitely be back and will tell our friends.
Good allround venu.
Wine list could do with better red selections in the pinot verity.
We keep going back to Morgans for good quality fare at affordable rates. Their fish pie is the best in the village and well worth the wait for a freshly prepared and cooked plate of deliciousness. Our wine waiter matched the wine beautifully with a dry Rose. Well done to all concerned.
Good yummy food and good service. Friendly service.
Great food, however environment very noisy due to large tables of visitors which spoilt the experience somewhat.
Great atmosphere and lovely food and service was great
We really enjoyed our meal
The view was lovely and the staff was kind
Once again, thanks to all your team for a wonderful lunch ... Delicious food and amazing service for us all at the table of six ladies. All who were there said they'll make Morgans top of their list when they come back to visit us on the Peninsula.
Great specials, meals and pricing great ( apart from oysters seemed expensive- half price at weekends!)
Found it hard to understand why it is called an ale house, as very limited selection - Furphys , Little Creatures Pale Ale, Carlton Draught and a Stout??? More selection at our local pub! But service was good, food good and great value. Lighting is a bit too bright. Could be a bit more comfortable seating but overall good place to eat.
Fabulous lunch , cannot wait to visit again!
Everyone do yourself a favour and take time out and enjoy delicious food and atmosphere .
Thanks Team xx
Great food great service Been there many times and always great
The place was really nice Food was very yummy and the service was friendly and prompt
Only suggestion is to increase the range of red wines and ditch the Merricks Cabernet
Really yummy food and had options for all of my friends dietary requirements. Maybe add some more Vegan options so they aren’t limited to one choice only. Otherwise lovely staff and service.
Superb food, generous serves at reasonable prices, excellent service and superb position overlooking the Sorrento foreshore.
Great Menu very different food very nice service really good keep it up
Very vibrant and happy staff. They were very accomodating to our large group of 12 and 3 babies in prams. Service was quick. The food was very generous portions and delicious.
Trading on its seaside position as reflected in its prices which is at the upper end for non sophisticated dishes. On Easter Saturday a parma was over$40 with a 20% surcharge.
Service is not existent. Acknowledging difficulty in getting staff surley indifferent service not even a smile with no leadership at these prices is not acceptable. Closing the kitchen at 9.30 on Saturday night when ordering desserts which are only assembly is not good enough. Hopefully Paul Wilson is no longer associated with this establishment
20% surcharge on sat night food cold
how can you serve cold chips?
Morgan's never disappoints! We have been there twice now and loved it each time. The staff are hospitable and welcoming. The food is delicious and good quality. For a lovely meal as close as you can get to the beach without the sand, you must try Morgan's!
Great place for a evening drink and meal with an awesome view of the Bay.
I had been looking forward to having dinner at this restaurant having tried to get a booking for months. Well to say that the experience was underwhelming is being kind. Where to start: The menu is no better than pub food with fine dinning prices attached. I can sincerely say that this place is simply 2nd rate. We have the beer battered fish and chips and was presented with a piece of fish and a pile of fries that barely fit on the plate. unfortunately the fries made up 80% of the quantity. Not a piece of greenery to be seen unless you wanted to buy a side salad for either $12 or $18. The next joke was a wine list with one choice in each category; really you are on the edge of one of the main wine regions of Victoria and the best you can do is 1 choice each. Seriously if you want the view and a parcel of fish & chips sit on the foreshore and eat you fish from the local shop (at 33% of the price).
Found the meals to be of average standard. Pumpkin gnocchi was tasteless and way to much purée. Tasted liked canned purée to me, snitzel parma was dry and served with a bunch of lettuce on the top to make it fancy. Sorry had to be honest!
Lovely lunch overall. Mother in law roast was rare when she asked for medium to well done, so she couldn’t eat much of it. I loved my medium rare, but her medium, well done looked the same. Otherwise lovely experience overall!
Overall very good food, friendly service which lacks followup once your meals have been delivered. The ambience especially at night could be improved by adding table clothes and up grading the visual fit out of the restaurant. Apart from the above we always enjoy eating at Morgans
Great food, great service and great view! Definitely recommend dining there.
Due to Covid-19 regulations, tables were nicely spaced so no-one was on-top of anyone else - open, uncluttered. Table staff admitted that would change when restrictions were lifted with at least another 10 tables to be added - there goes the ambiance. Food (2 X fish mains) totally tasteless! Service however, was brilliant.
Super food , great vibe and hospitality, a great host who’s French speaking , thank you and well done
Good food great views a favourite of ours for casual dining
We went for the crab night. The food was beautifully presented and tasted sensational - what there was of it. Because Spanner crab was used I reckon each diner would have been hard pressed to get more than a few grams of actual crab meat to eat. I think Mud crabs are best next time.
Excellent location, great relaxed atmosphere, great food but service lacking. Wine spilt on table wasn't wiped away but a smart comment given. Somewhat disappointed with the attitude. The crab linguine puttanesca was exceptional.
Morgan’s is always a fantastic afternoon or night out. Great views, service, atmosphere, and of course, food! Would highly recommend when in Sorrento.
Went on a Wednesday night and enjoyed the Mussel Special and the prawn risotto. Great value and friendly service
Lovely to be able to sit outdoors on a summer's night.
Just a perfect place for a Sunday fish & chips.
Took a long time for the food to come out. Food was average.
The food was overpriced and very ordinary. Far too many fries. No salad or even lettuce leaf !! Would never go there again.
Lovely atmosphere and nice service. Oysters are really good! My friend and me love the white peach and raspberry cheese so much!
