Cajun Ribeye Steak
The lighting is very dark Went here for Mother’s Day dinner. Tried to beat the evening rush and had a table for 5pm. We were seated immediately. Then the fun started!
The service was SUPER slow. Took 20 minutes to order drinks, another 20 minutes to order appetizers. 30 minutes for food to come out, another 45 minutes for the steaks. After we were done eating, waited another 30 minutes for the waitress to come and take out dessert order. All in all, the dinner took almost 3 1/2 hours. We got out of there at 8:25.
The Tomahawk steak is supposed to be 32oz (looked more like 24oz)
Truffle fries are good and so is the truffle califlower. Steak was overdone as well
There are much better steak houses in Bergen county. Will most likely never go back

I had a wonderful experience, Diana served with professionalism and explained how the foods are prepared and some of the history of Morton’s. Food was delicious and served on time. Everything was done in excellence!!

Had reservation but still had to wait. Floor was dirty under table. There was even an empty carton of cigarettes on the floor under my table. Steak was ordered medium but was served rare.
Food was great as usual, service was AWFUL!!! Often times was looking for the server and or asking another staff member to find her.. she would disappear for 20 minutes at a time!! What a shame because the food is excellent!!! You get MUCH better service at the Atlantic City location, I’ll never go back to Hackensack!

Best chain steakhouse experience you can get. Surf & turf special is a must-have and great bang for your buck. Amazing wine list too.
Pricey, I usually don't like seasoning on my steaks but the amount on this steak was perfect.

Our waiter was great. However, support staff kept interrupting us to bring other people meals to our table. Someone even thought it was our anniversary. It wasn’t. It was the next table over. When our food did come they had no idea who ordered what and placed the food randomly on the table until we corrected them. Staff needs additional training. Not the level of service you expect for a $300 meal. Also, steaks werent cooked to temperature.
Great food n service
Had a medium rare 16 ounce Ribeye that was cooked to perfection. A Caesar Salad first that was much larger than I was expecting. A side of sautéed onions and mushroom and Italian Coffee with Cheesecake for dessert. I really liked how are server timed bringing out each dish so perfectly. Beautiful restaurant ambiance with spotless men’s room. Will definitely use Morton’s whenever I go for a steak.
We ordered- party of four - filet mignon and lobster tail special Steaks and lobster tails were served lukewarm But the biggest surprise was the fact that the steaks were more like 4 ounce instead 6 that we ordered Please mind that we had same dinner a week earlier and it was perfect Next time i am bringing l small Lab scale ...
I was seated the moment I walked through the door, although I was 15 minutes late due to traffic I called ahead of time and they were very polite about it. The food came out nice & hot & the desert was amazing best birthday I’ve ever had well spent.
As always my experience at Morton’s is phenomenal! The manager was amazing as he guided us with wine and was quiet friendly. Food was amazing

It's not cheap, but it's good! Treat yourself. If you are worried about the cost, go to a more moderate place.
When you want to impress, Morton’s the best!
I have never been more disappointed with the service - EVER. We were a table of 6. Four of us arrived prior, and we had drinks at the bar. Once our full party arrived - we were seated. Our server came over - and asked if she could bring the two folks cocktails. Which she did - and brought over. Not once after did she ever ask if we ever wanted another round of drinks. Not ONCE. And it was comical - as we swore everytime she did come by - that would be the time. Thank goodness for the person who kept refilling our water glasses... he is the one who deserved the gratuity. One person at the table was just SOL for his dinner - starting with the appetizer. And then his main course came out underdone. This experience won't stop me from patronizing Morton's. But it will make me confirm with a certain member of their waitstaff if they are working on the evening we decide to go back. The food, drink, and ambiance is solid every time. The experience can be very disappointing when the wait staff is below par.
Meals at Morton’s are always perfect and delicious!
Overall food very good. Beverage service was EXTREMELY slow. Sommelier couldn’t find the bottle of wine we wanted. We were seated over a half hour before wine came out. I have to say that this restaurant is raping customers on wine prices!! $70 for Kendall Jackson Chardonnay! Are you kidding me! The wine is $13 at any wine store. Charging 5x the cost of a wine shop, which also is making money, is absurd. PLEASE rethink wine menu prices!! I know you guys have to break even but if I’m paying $100 for a bottle of wine, at least make it a good wine!!
Morton's never fails to achieve a high level of satisfaction. The food quality, quantity, and choices are superb. The ambience of the restaurant is impeccable. Very friendly and knowledgeable wait staff rounds out the bill. And speaking of the bill, while not being cheap, was reasonable for what we received.
I would have preferred writing a more favorable review because the ambience and service were truly excellent. This said, however, more than anything else a restaurant representing itself as upscale, as Morton’s does, needs to first and foremost provide outstanding food. Unfortunately, our most recent visits disappointed in this regard.
I have been to a few Morton’s. This one was just ok. I expected better service and food based on the name and prices. I ate at Rails Steakhouse the week before. Far superior in every way.
The overall dining experience was great. From the greeting, table service and dinner. Everyone and everything was great.

Morton’s Hackensack has done an outstanding job adjusting to the social distancing standards while providing exceptional service and cuisine. I always love their prime rib; if only it wasn’t such a rare special designated for holiday menus.
