Arusha is the absolute best waiter and my favorite. Give him a bonus for taking care of his customers.
Server was very critical of some of the food choices - our friends had the same experience last week at Morton’s - the waiter said that the $44 strip steak shouldn’t be ordered because it would be tough and disappointing. Suggested a $50 steak instead. Slow night in the restaurant but it took a long time to get the check. Disappointing, as we expected a great experience.
Outstanding food and service, as expected. The server accommodated an off-menu request without a hassle. Attentive staff, without being intrusive. This location is a bit noisy for quiet conversations, butconveniently located.
The food was just warm not hot as other places of equal value. Most steak houses bring out your steak on very hot plates not Morton's. The sides were generous but not very warm. I expected better for the price. For $225 with tip for two people without alcohol, this is not worth it. The next time i want a steak, this would not be my first choice.
Food not as good as it used to be. Salad was tired--tomatoes taste free. Steak was just OK. Sides and dessert were delicious. Not sure it's worth the price anymore.
Not a good experience. I’m generally a fan of Morton’s and eat there several times a year. However on Sunday night, it was quiet, so our waiter had nothing else to do but keep coming back to the table. He came back maybe 30-40 times. During coffee, he came back to us 7 times to see if everything was “ok” - making us feel creeped out to the point that we left before we were ready to. He clearly had nothing else to do. With the wine, he continued to keep topping up glasses when we hadn’t drunk anything since the prior tip up. We had no intention of drinking the full bottle but he ended up pouring the entire bottle, leaving us with glasses full (almost to the brim). So no air could circulate in the glass, both spoiling the wine and leaving nothing for us to recork and take home. When we left, we had to leave our wine glasses full with $160 Chateau-neuf du Pap....such a waste. There were many more instances of over-attentiveness e.g. he twice asked me to order wine and food before my date had even arrived. Then within 2 minutes of her arrival he asked her to order (hadn’t even discussed the menu with us)
So in conclusion, while the food remains top of my list, the service was perhaps the worst I have seen for a long time in a high end establishment, so they have probably lost a customer of 30 years.
Great food and outstanding service. Eddie is fantastic and really makes for an enjoyable dining experience. We can’t wait to return!
Great tender filet mignon steaks. Generous serving of brussel sprouts and excellent salad.

This was my fiancé and I first time eating in the dining room. We are regulars at Ruth Chris and Mastro’s. We will now add Morton’s to one of our regular Steakhouses.
We arrived at 5:30 for a 6:15 reservation. I told the hostess I knew we were early and could come back later if needed and she said no and to just step to the side and we would be seated momentarily. About 5 minutes later another (more senior) hostess came by and said rudely that they were still seating 5:30 reservations and that we should come back closer to 6. We went to the bar and ordered a drink. Before my drink even came she was yelling my name. It was very frustrating. The food was just ok. We have been here a bunch of times and this was by far our least favorite visit.
Had a very good time, the Lobster was a little rubbery but the filet was spot on. Over all very good if only lobster cook time was a little different.
Terrible service for Valentines Day. Still disappointed as they had to comp our meal due to pure incompetence. Very disappointed in Morton’s! May never return!!!

Amazing food as always. They had a problem getting a waiter to us. 30 minutes went by before we where waited on. Diego made up for that with amazing service. Caution note. Waiter asked to add the valet to bill and if I wanted to add the valet tip to overall bill. I told him to add the $6 valet to the bill and I would pay tip in cash. Once outside the value had our car ready but stated that they are a separate company and that I need to pay him directly. Gave him the $6 I was going to give him as a tip. Don't know where the breakdown was. Not a big deal. Lastly I would recommend suggesting a dress code as to at least collared shirts. Some people just don't get it and there was a guy at the next table in a star wars t shirt. His loss, but some people might do better if suggested.
Service was attentive but not overbearing and food was good. They were out of some items but overall a pleasant experience.
Music too raucus and loud. I asked for a booth or a banquette and this was ignored and never addressed. Our server, although earnest, actually told us AT A STEAK RESTAURANT that she does not eat much meat so couldn't really make a steak recommendation. WHAAAA...? Escargot no longer on menu. :-( Steak was good, potatos excellent, prices high. They need to run a tighter ship for the prices they're charging.

The hostess & server seemed new which was odd for a prime time reservation on Saturday night. Our meal service was slow and unpredictable. The food was great with the exception of overcooked shrimp cocktail.
We loved the onion rings and they’re off the menu. Why? It was very noisy and the music was too loud

Perfect location for my fiance' 34th romantic birthday dinner!
Quality has declined over that past year at this location. There is no room between tables in the middle of the restaurant. This means people are constantly bumping into patrons if you cannot get a booth.
Steaks came out medium rare when I ordered them rare.... When packing up leftovers to take home, they were lost.... The waitress compensated us, which was kind of her. But it was just so packed that the service and experience suffered.
I used to like taking family out to this restaurant for special occasions—like their first steak after getting their wisdom teeth pulled or their braces removed. I’ll be looking for another location for celebrating these milestones.
Outstanding food in a relaxed setting. Great for conversation with no rush.
We went for restaurant week and ordered fillet mignon and pork chop. I don’t know if its massive production or what, the pork chop was over cooked and steak was burnt outside (inside was still ok). The starters: onion soup and salad were just par, not bad, the legendary hot chocolate cake was pretty good. Overall, I don’t think the food quality is matching to the price and name.
My husbands lobster bisque had a bit too much sherry for my taste but my chopped salad was really good! Steaks cooked to perfection as you would expect! They have a great reputation for a reason- they’ve earned it! Lobster tails also cooked perfect and our server made us feel like we were the only ones in the (very crowded) dining room. A great dinner!

We took an advantage of restaurant week and bunch of us got together to try Morton.
It was OK but they did not impress me to go back again. Lobster bisque was kind of thick and heavy look like you are eating butter flavored lobster. 6 oz file was good and had a good taste to it although they over cooked my order. Dessert was absolutely disappointing. It was like you got something frozen from grocery store. As I said they did not impressed me with their food at all.
The overall experience was good- however

Food is ok. The bar service is consistently pathetic with one bartender in particular. I think Mortons is getting a little tired. If it wasnt for their LSC points program, I'd never go here.
We went for NYE, cocktails came a 1/2 hour after ordering them and they were not correct. There were 4 of us, 2 received appetizers and 20 minutes later the other 2 appetizers showed up, all were cold so not really any good excuse. Our server did not offer us NYE party favors although all the other tables had them. This place used to be really great, it had definitely gone down hill. If it wasn’t so expensive we would not have been so picky but if you are charging Morton’s prices, you should receive impeccable service.
Your bartenders need the recipe for a REAL French 75! I’ll be happy to send my favorite.
The filet mignon and crab cakes were wonderful. The smoked Gouda potatoes were amazing, as was the sautéed spinach and mushrooms.
Very good and enjoyable for a dinner on New Years eve.
Wish there were a separate room to seat guests with babies and very young children. Sitting next to a table with a screaming child is not acceptable at an expensive and luxurious restaurant. Also, what about dress codes? Seeing the majority of guests dressed in jeans and tennis shoes and sloppy shirts and coats is ridiculous for a restaurant of this stature. Suggest a jacket and collared shirt be required for this restaurant. The standards of dress and decorum are certainly at an all time low here. We don't expect to dine at a high end restaurant with guests who dress for Applebees, McDonald's or Chuck-E-Cheese with crying/screaming kids in tow.
We specifically chose to sit at a hightop table in the bar for dinner.
Edwin was our server. He was excellent with suggestions and was incredibly attentive.
We were very excited that the special of the month was the Cote de Bouef. It was just great. . We had it previously and were sad to see that it is not a regular menu item.
General manager stopped out to see how we were doing which is always nice.
