Morton's The Steakhouse - Saratoga Springs
Filet Mignon Trio
Sauce Au Poivre, Barnaise and Blue Cheese Butter
We went to Morton's for our 30th anniversary. Morton's was a wonderful
place to celebrate.
Asked for my steak medium rare. It was well done. Not a bit of red in it and was tepid. Lobster was mediocre. Food tasted and looked as if it had been made the day before and kept under a heat lamp. This was my first time and expected a lot better. Especially for the price.
We've been to Morton's several times over the past few years and it has always been very good.
However, our last visit to Morton's on October 14, 2020 was exceptional. The food and service was outstanding. We had oysters and a shrimp cocktail as appetizers and they were extremely fresh. For entrees we had the filet and it was cooked to perfection. My daughter had the Lobster Mac and Cheese side dish as her entree and it was filled with chunks of lobster and she could not finish it.
The tables were sufficiently distanced so I did not feel anyone was too close.
The cost was fair for the quality of the food and the great service.
We will be back again soon!
We visited for our anniversary. My only positive is the steak was amazing, well worth the price. The service was mediocre. Our waiter was new that day. He did lack skills that are required for fine dining. The onion bread was good despite the fact that it was dry and had lots of crumbs. Our steaks were great. The baked potato and the asparagus were way undercooked. Had to return the potato. The asparagus was terrible, couldn’t cut it with a knife. The food was not hot despite the fact that it came right to the table from the heat light. We were sitting in a booth facing the chefs. One guy continuously kept pulling on his mask then touching the white plates, all with 1 glove on only. We were not offered drinks after the first round. And we were not offered any deserts. We won’t return to Morton’s. Very disappointed especially with the bill. Don’t mind spending the money, as long as it’s worth it.
An excellent meal. Only complaint was the mixed drink called Island Bessie. Expected a sweeter drink but was very sour and not even drinkable. It was a specialty drink listed in the menu. It tasted as though grapefruit juice might have been used in place of pineapple juice. Waitress never came to ask how it was. By that time, our meal came and I forgot about it. Was charged $17.00 for that drink. I guess my fault for not asking for a different one!
we had the prime ribeye , salad with sardines lol , baked escargot and some fun drinks . came back jeter after the casino , which was old and boring , came back to mortans fii is r more drinks and cream brûlée, which was amazing ! Loved our waitress and our male bartenders . Great place ! very pretty inside !
Limited menu due to Covid. Prices are kinda high but the food is delicious. Great place to go for a special occasion!!
Service was very good and informative about the menu. The food was outstanding as usual. The porterhouse was excellent very pleased by the total experience
Fantastic experience overall except for the fact that our 35th wedding anniversary was never acknowledged.
We had a delightful dinner that was at a perfect pace.
Only complaint was music was loud for dinner and more lively that I would have preferred for a relaxing dinner
We had a wonderful experience! Highly recommended!
Like most we haven’t been to dinner much during the Pandemic. We own a restaurant and always enjoy dinning at Morton’s. My favorite appetizer is the Tuna Tower, which was not available at this time but understandable at this time. We had decided earlier in the day we would splurge on the wine. Your menu had a special $99 wines. Wonderful. The server suggested one. We went with her suggestion. Since she told us what a great choice it would be since it’s normally $150 bottle. My husband liked it , I so much did not enjoy it. Usually we are ordering another glass after because the bottle didn’t have a chance. Now being in the business we know the up charge on bottles and never have a problem ordering one. This particular one however when looking it up was a $20 bottle of wine. Ok Fine... we get it . Up charge. But to be told this bottle is normally $150 was a little misleading. Very disappointed
The service was incredible, the food was good, the steak was pricy compared to what was served. I own a farm and for the price of $65.00 for a thin prime rib was almost what i can buy a whole calf for. The manager and the wait staff were extremely courteous, friendly, and right on target.
Food was good but pricey. Waitress was really nice
HATS OFF TO THE ENTIRE STAFF, CHEFS & MANAGEMENT AT MORTON'S AT SARATOGA CASINO HOTEL!!!
You made our visit very special and memorable.
Thank You ever so much!
See you soon again.
Steaks are as good as you would expect. Service was a bit slow, which was surprising, as it looked that they were well staffed, just a lot of servers standing around waiting for the kitchen
Food was delicious. Cooked perfectly. Martini was watery, and 1/2 full, normally a deal breaker for me.
Friday at Table #34 helped to start our 34th anniversary weekend in the best way possible. "Little" Sarah provided exceptional service and our dinner proved to be perfect in every way.
Saturday was a total disaster! We were horribly greeted by the hostess who should apply to McDonald's. We moved out of the main dining room so as not to spoil our evening totally!
The bar area was fine. Apologetic and gracious GM Dan did his best to make amends.
He wanted to show this by offering us something i.e. glass of wine etc.
When the bill came, server Frank never said such and such is on the house.
Instead he charged us for the one glass of wine!!!
My husband called this to his attention....and he muttered something less than cordial.
You figure it out.
Food was great. Service was a little slow considering it was early and not busy at all. The manager did take money off our bill which was nice. Overall very good
Food was outstanding! Frank our server was awesome. This was a special occasion and we were treated like royalty:)
We had the special for the night, $99 per couple included salad, filet mignon and choice of seafood, potato and dessert. Food was excellent and very generous portions. We both had the lobster tail with our perfectly cooked filet. Would highly recommend and plan on going back.
It was family gathering for one of my siblings 80th bday. Everything was perfect!
The food was delicious. The service was wonderful. The atmosphere would have been better if we weren't sitting next to the noisy/distracting kitchen. The expense was outrageous. How can a 16oz NY Strip for $63 and a baked potato for $11 be explained?? I'm not able to recommend Morton's due to the expense.
The service staff and the manager treated us like gold. Combined with very good food, it made for a delightful experience.
Nothing special here, a bit disappointed for the money. Service was slower than expected, meals were small, cocktails were average and not cold. Nothing screamed come back.....
Excellent experience. Don’t let the fact that this high end steakhouse is in the racino campus let you think it’s not a stand alone excellent restaurant. It is. Fully enjoyed a multi course meal with excellent service. I highly recommend if you want to treat yourself.
My only real disappointment was the lack of social distancing. Tables are closer together than they should be, and it was crowded.
We just love it!!! Always good...we enjoy the food and ambience....
I was disappointed. The service and ambiance was fine. I was not shocked at the price as I was expecting it to be in line with upscale dining. I was disappointed in the food. It WAS NOT bad. It simply did not wow me. If I spend $63 on a strip I expect to be wowed and to remember how delicious it was. Instead I’m left comparing it to Applebee’s.
Great food as always, I am hoping full menu comes back soon, but we look forward to going back
It was way too dark. We had to put our flashlights on to read menus. The service was excellent and staff friendly. The food was good but if you pay $58.00 for a Ribeye, it should be exceptional and probably dry aged for a 16 ounce.. I would try again but sit outside around the bar area is recommended.
Excellent service!! Food was so delicious. A lovely dining experience!
Great food and atmosphere
The food was amazing! Drinks are good. Service was great! Very nice server! It is a very romantic atmosphere, which I love!
Everything was as we expected, great steak and wonderful side dishes. We were nicely distanced from everyone without feeling isolated or overwhelmed. Kelly our server was outstanding, above and beyond nice and accommodating.
Everything was wonderful, filet was very tender and cooked to perfection, lobster tail was sweet and tasty and our sides were great.
Went here with my girlfriend and for the only restaurant to be open in the Saratoga hotel and casino, it was very nice and the food was great. The service was great as well. Thank
We had an amazing experience! Hostess and waitress were very pleasant! We were celebrating my birthday and they took our picture and placed it on a frame. I loved the extra touch! The food was amazing! It is pricey but well worth it. Great place for special occasions:)
I don’t like to be surprised with the bill. Should put prices of steaks on the menu
Excellent food and service. Our server Joanna was exceptional and attentive
