All our dishes were delicious and service was excellent

The food service was excellent as was the quality of the meals served and the wait staff. Our only observation was that the manager catered to a few celebrity type of guests repeatedly in each restaurant but would ignore all other patrons speaking to no other diners. This happened at each meal we reserved.
Overall would go back just for the surrounding beauty of emerald lake lodge

25th wedding anniversary

Emerald Lake is a magical place. The views are second to none! The staff are kind, friendly and energetic. The food is always top notch. We've been staying at Emerald Lake every winter for 30 years and plan on continuing this wonderful tradition for another 30!!

An excellent evening in a great wintery postcard kind of place. Menu was varied and very hard to select from as every selection looked so appealing. Was not disappointed with our final selections. Fantastic dinner.

Weekend away. Excellent food and service in a social distancing environment. The chicken was absolutely amazing.

Food was excellent. Salmon dish and Elk tenderloin dish both nicely cooked and lots of flavours.

We ate dinner in the dining room twice and really enjoyed the food both times. The food was served hot, plates warmed as needed, flavours were distinct and everything was cooked as desired. Nice work chef! 5 stars for food. We had the scallop and boar bacon tostado twice it was so good.

The dining room is very spartan though I’ll give that a pass due to COVID restrictions. Service staff was very friendly though not very experienced. Pre service items we sometimes brought post food serve, wine glass refill orders slow, and general approach was friendly amateur. Some service supervision could put some polish on this.

Please do something about the competing music from the the lounge area, very distracting to hear two systems playing.

Food and service, as always, was fantastic! Low marks for ambience have nothing to do with the lodge, but the other guests who thought it was a great idea to face time family friends so everyone could here. Sad to see people unable to disconnect

We stayed for 3 nights and 2 full days and had the most amazing dining experience. The Service was always good but on the second night we meet our server Felicia who was fantastic always going above and beyond for us, making our dining experience even better. Thank you too the staff for making our trip to emerald lake lodge a memorable one!

One of the best dinners I’ve had this year! Outstanding!

Dinner on the Friday night was underwhelming to say the least. The table was not set, our server was over stretched. My husband's elk was improperly cooked and very tough. We ordered the chocolate cake for desert and it was not warm enough and rather than creme anglaise the plate had a very tart lemon cream on the plate. Obviously a plating mistake, and very careless. The appetizers we had the following day were bland and the soup arrived cold and was sent back only to arrive long after we had finished the rest of the appetizers. After ordering coffee we then had to wait over 50 minutes for our bill despite signalling our waitress several times.
Overall it was very disappointing and we expected much better food and service given the 46$ cost of our meals.

Great place and food but the prices are quite expensive and no other choices only the restaurant open at the lodge.

Really enjoyed our few meals we had while staying at the Emerald Lake Lodge. Beautiful setting in the mountains with great food and service! All precautions were taken for Covid.

The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Our server (I think his name was Devin) was fabulous. We had a lovely time.

We have visited the Mount Burgess dining room every time we have stayed at the lodge and have had really great experiences in the past. The ambience is cozy and it is really relaxing. This time, however, we found that the experience was overpriced for what we received. My husband enjoyed his meal, but the vegetarian option was just spiralized zucchini with quinoa and arugula. With a price point of $32 for that entree, I expected more. I unfortunately left hungry and disappointed :(

We had a wonderful dining experience. The ambience in the lounge is much nicer than the dining room.

Great service, great food!

Our experience at the Mount Burgess Dining Room at Emerald Lake Lodge was very disappointing - first of all, the food lacked presentation and most of all, taste. It was lack luster to say the least, as were all of our meals. We feel the meals were very over-priced for what we received.

The food was exceptional and the setting is beautiful. The staff were very good operating under Covid restriction.

Wonderful menu and presentation was exceptional. Great experience being able to explore meats one normally would not purchase for one's own home. Meal prepared exactly as requested and service staff were attentive yet un-obtrusivel

Make a reservation. Ask for a table with a mountain view.

Ambiance, food and service were first rate, and the views would be hard to beat anywhere. It was a lovely evening, and we never felt rushed.

The meals shared by wife and myself were quite tasty and well presented. The service, however, was quite slow and the servers skills did not match the meals' prices. To be fair, it was a Covid time meal so that reduced the ambience rating but that still does not excuse poor service. I think that they need to have at least 2 more servers at dinner time.

Terrific place for a special dinner out. Food was tasty and unique, service was friendly, setting is incredible. The maple old fashioned was a treat!

Food was excellent and our server was knowledgable, friendly and professional.

Deadly silent with 0 atmosphere. Cold conservatory or be in the middle of busy walkway for servers.
Long wait for food - booking for 8pm, didn't get starters until after 9pm. Mistakes with drinks, very busy servers despite reduced numbers.
Food itself was delicious - could not fault it
Pricey restaurant so we dressed up but felt ridiculous with lack of atmosphere - like eating 5 start food in school canteen. Overall loved the food but did not feel like the dining experience it should have been.

We had a great time. Unfortunately, we do not recall our server’s name but she was amazing, as was the food!
