Mount Gretna Craft Brewery

They seemed understaffed which made it hard for us to get the attention of our server. She was very nice and I have nothing bad to say about her. The food took forever to come out. We ordered an appetizer that came out with all of our food. That was burnt and cold when we got it. Once our food FINALLY was brought out the pizza was undercooked, the fish and chips was so small (both worth the money) and my pretzel charcuterie board was terrible. The charcuterie board pretzel was cold (why would a soft pretzel ever be served cold?!?!), the bleu cheese was mushed and thrown all over the plate, the 2 tiny pieces of Brie were all brine. I did ask about the pretzel being cold as soon as it came out but was told that’s how they serve it. Which I think was just an answer to shut me up. I ended up telling them to take it back and didn’t eat. I will NEVER be back and I will NEVER suggest this place to anyone!!!

Service was horrible our waitress kept forgetting about us and I had a local flavor coupon that I'm pretty sure she never took off our bill. I friend picked up the tab and I didn't know how much it was until we left and when I added everything up when I got home she definitely did not deduct my $30 local flavor. Not happy!

Food was good, but Outdoor dining did not have any heat lamps, and would not let us dine inside despite available tables.

What a great find! We went on a Friday night and there was live music! The food and service were great! Loved this place!

Really good but the menu was a little small. All the food was very good, but it felt like it was missing that one small thing to kick it up a notch. We had the tatchos, tater tots instead of the traditional nachos. They were very good, generous toppings but they needed some type of brisket or pulled pork to bring them up. We also had the meat pizza which was also very god but it needed something to bring it up a notch. Beer was awesome and we like the atmosphere and will definitely keep supporting this local restaurant

Tried a couple of different brews ,can't remember kinds, but one was an ale which was lightly hopped ,very nice a good session beer.
Fish n'Chips which is only available till April 2nd. nice piece of fish in batter deep fried ,not bad with malt vinegar a must when eating fish n'chips.
Mushey peas would have been a good addition .
Server was very attentive

Great place to eat. We were looking for a place to celebrate my daughter’s acceptance into law school, her boyfriend acceptance into grad school at Oxford and my wife’s licensing into the ministry.. Delicious food and ambiance to match. Definitely will be back again

Will never go there again

Nice selection of beers - the service was very good & our waiter was very attentive & knowledgeable. The menu however was quite limited - basically burgers, pizza or mac & cheese. The quality of the food was good (except the bottom of the pizza was black in spots) but definitely overpriced. I think $16 for a burger & fries is a bit much no matter how good the beer is.

Saturday at 6pm and out of many menu items. Took over an hour to get food.

Was able to meet friends for dinner and live entertainment last week. The food was amazing and the entertainment was a class act!

We had an average experience. Had to flag down waiter a few times for more drinks and other items.

We found this place on Open table when we were not able to go to Troegs since their wait time was almost 3 hours. We had difficulty finding parking since there was a movie night event going on. We are from out of town so we didn't know. We parked on one of the residential streets and went in. The hostess was friendly and allowed us to sit inside. Unfortunately we waited almost an hour for our food due to the kitchen being bottle necked. Our waiter kept checking in on us and apologizing for the delay. When we got our food, we had the corner burger and the kielbasa cheese steak. My husband enjoyed his meal and I enjoyed mine. Our waiter even comped us for one of our drinks due to the long wait time. So we decided to give him a generous tip! Service was good and friendly, maybe we'd try to come during a not so busy time.

They were out of several things on the menu and their pizza oven was not working. The food we got was just ok. Will not be going back.

Food was good. Wanted to get an order of biscuits and gravy to go for my husband who was working and couldn’t join us but they were unwilling to put it in two containers which was bit odd and disappointing.

Doesn't look like much from the road but definately worth a stop. Inside is exceptionally well done. Very homey outdoorsy feel. Aswesome tables made from big logs, etc.

As with most restaurants / bars, feel bad the virus has limited admittance because somebody spend $$ making this a very nice restaurant.

A few menu items were out; but, gain, under virus restrictions, can't be too upset. A very difficult time to be a restaurant.

Food was top notch. No issues getting a table for 6 on a saturday evening.

If you are in the area, stop by and help keep a great place operating in these challenging times.

Brisket was A+

We ordered the kielbasa cheesesteak and the hotdogs with chili. The kielbasa cheesesteak was a interesting twist on the cheesesteak but I thought the peppers overpowered the meat and cheese. Probably about 1/2 the amount of peppers would be good enough. Next time, I'd ask for them on the side. We enjoyed the crispy bacon hotdogs with curry mustard, chili, coleslaw and jalapenos. Sounds like a weird mix of toppings but it balanced out. Overall, the menu had good selection of choices of bar/pub foods. The beer was just ok. We had a pale ale. Service was good and it was quiet because it was late Saturday afternoon. I could see it being louder if the bar and restaurant was more full. Nice place to get lunch.

Overall nice restaurant. Due to Virus we had to sit outside and it was a beautiful day. I made a reservation prior to attending which was good as we got their last open table. They have high top seating so be aware when you make a reservation of your preference.

Their selection of craft beer looked amazing. I can’t drink anymore but if I could this place would be a winner!

As for the food. We tried the hummus platter and Tater tot nachos. Both were not of high quality. The place would benefit from an overhaul of their menu. The indoor section looked so very nice. I would have expected the food to be a bit more “chef” life. They need better culinary expertise.

Overall it’s a nice spot. I’m going to visit it again once things open up and see if this was just an “off” night. I hear they also offer entertainment.
