As usual, Mr. Mikes didn't fail at all. They serve great food, and try and make your experience as good as it possibly can be, despite what is going on in the world (COVID wise).
I should mention I am in a wheelchair. They accommodated me with absolutely no issue whatsoever. The only potential problem I may have is if I ever had to go to the bathroom. I don't think my chair would fit. But, that's the case with 99% of restaurants.
Once again, my hats are off to Mr. Mikes for their epic work. I will be back again, and soon
Everyone enjoyed their meals (2 beef dips + Mike burger). Service was fantastic and we felt safe in terms of Covid protocols.
Our server was great. Clean, plexiglass dividers.
Food was great! Service was awesome! Only downside was sitting on closed in patio under patio heaters, was so hot for December and the smell of marijuana wafting in from outside the plastic wall wasn’t great.
Excellent Servers, great food, always a wonderful experience when Lee have dined there.
Nice ambience and very good service. Our food tasted quite good, the only complaint would be that it would be nice to see some more grilled chicken burger or sandwich choices on the menu... but as its a steak house we understand why the majority are beef offerings.
It's still one of my favorite restaurants to go to. This visit hasn't changed that.
Last minute Sunday dinner! Great service and very friendly staff. Food was good, the steak was really under cooked but next time I will order it a little on the cooked side.

We went for my sons 6th birthday and It was one of our best experiences ever. While they didn’t have the rock em sock em robots we requested (assuming due to covid), the service was great and the food was delicious! Thanks for having us and singing Tucker happy birthday!
Date night for hubby and I. The waitress was very nice as was the hostess. We enjoy every time we are there.

There were five people at our table , we all had steaks of various kinds . Our server was very helpful and explained what each steak was like and what the different types of steak meant . It was all delicious . We also had an appetizer of popcorn shrimp which was delicious . then 3 people had the deserts and they were also very good . Good service , good food .
This is a noisy restaurant, food was all right, but certainly nothing outstanding - the service was top notch.
Summer was a nice server...Table was a little sticky. The Coke machine had issues, so the pop was flat. The burger was good...Expensive...But I guess it just costs more to eat out these days...
The food was delicious, especially the dip for the lodge chips, and our waitress fantastic!
Three out of four lunches were very good. My husband ordered the Mr. Mike burger and was not at all impressed. He was disappointed to see that it was basically only a bun and meat. Also he has had a churning stomach since then which is very unusual for him.
The other three meals were very good.
We arrived at noon, half an hour ahead but they let us be seated. Love the mike burgers as usual. The server Summer was very nice, service was Outstanding. We enjoued it very much.
WE had a very positive dining experience at Mr. Mike's. We sat on the patio so it was a bit noisy at times. The food--steak sandwich, shrimp tacos, and two burgers--was excellent. The waitress let us visit with our friends after we finished eating--which we much appreciated.
The service was quite slow even though the restaurant wasn’t at capacity. The steak bites appetizers were terribly overcooked and very unappetizing looking. The shrimp tacos consisted of overcooked overbreaded frozen precooked shrimp, bottles low quality salsa and shredded cabbage. I ate 1 out of 3 and the waiter didn’t even enquire. My sons pasta made him feel ill and the dressing on the house salad was off. We won’t be back,

This is our 2nd time at Mr. Mikes and due to everything being super enjoyable ( food and staff ) it is now one of our main " Go To" restaurants for date night and when family and friends visit..( once the world re-opens )

Our reservation was for "outdoor seating for six" but the hostess had a booth for six.
She said "Ive just come on and dont have any outside seating. I have a booth for you!"
She had no outdoor seating and no tables, even though I'd made a reservation and confirmed it.
She also said there is a table for six outside but there are "ants in the plants" and she didnt want to seat us there.
I explained I have arthritis in my hips which makes it difficult to get in and out of the booths, the hostess was not empathetic to my condition.
We always have our celebrations at Duncan Mr Mike's so the thought of going somewhere else to eat was a last resort.
A Server got involved and magically we had a table for six, outside 🙂
Our Server, who we'd had before, was EXCELLENT, Food DELICIOUS but the attitude of the hostess kind of put a damper on our evening of celebrating a birthday and a late Father's Day!
I have and will continue to highly recommend Duncan Mr. Mike's but will caution people when making reservations, things could change once you get there.
With Covid 19 reopening, we were pleased with their set up and care taken. Our server was awesome!

Food was delicious & server was great! Had a whole section to ourselves which made us feel comfortable & safe due to COVID19.
We felt so safe dining here during these uncertain COVID times - the waitress wore a mask and kept her appropriate distance …. the food was outstanding! The restaurant was super clean.
First we had to ask for a server to order a bottle of wine, second, the entree’s were served with our hot appetizer so dinner cooled down before we could eat. One of the vegetables,carrots, were basically raw and we also had been given an empty pepper mill.
Our server was nice and pleasant but not an enjoyable meal.
Our server was fantastic as was the new policies in place for social distancing. The food as always was great and we were very surprised to find that they have a keto option now for their steaks. Although we are keto we didn't yesterday as I wanted their gaucho style steak. Desserts were great... the ice cream with the brownie is wonderful and flavorful.
Ask for the steak bites to be pan fried. Much better.
Reserved on line for my hubby’s birthday, was told of free dessert did not get anything. Just wondering why it’s on there. Over all nice
Overall everything was nice. The food and service were both generally good save for the chicken strips which were obviously cooked from frozen. Burgers tasty and steaks well prepared. Some portion sizes were different from plate to plate. We will try again.
Service was superb. Could not saying anything better or ask for more. Waitress (purple hair)was stellar and a tip worth the same as our meal would've been fine. Awesome with my little girl
grumpy young girl seated us. took us to bar table had reservation when we asked for a booth, attitude waitress excellent food siratcha steak so so would not drive from nanaimo again not worth it Keg is a bit more but excellent.
Food and service was stellar, value very good and loved being able to reserve for as little as a table for 2, great place to dine :)
I would have to try it again for the burgers and more casual fare. For a steakhouse I found the steak to be very average, the vegetables were not only undercooked but also tasteless
I live 2.5 hrs away, I stop for a Mike burger whenever I am heading to Victoria & on my way back home as well. Just tried deep fried pickles this weekend as well, omg yes!
Good service - excellent waitress. Food tasty and presented nicely. Found the menus a little on the big size - hard to make a choice.
