MR MIKES - St Catharines

Our food took a long time and it was just ok. I've eaten at the Welland location and it was great. The ribs were meatless and the salmon was over done and tasteless.

I'd give it another shot though.

Disappointed. We have been a few times and had more bad experiences than good. An expensive experiment. There are other places in the area that outshine this one,

Very empty so having a reservation was not required. Lots of new Covid initiatives are in place for your security and safety and the staff as well.

The Keg was overbooked so we decided on Mister Mikes, and boy were we highly disappointed. Rib Eye AND Tenderloin were both overtly fatty, and the meat was absolutely tasteless. I asked for a side of horse radish, which looked horrible.

The garlic fries were too over powering and left a bad aftertaste for hours after our meal. The lobster dip was okay. Same with the Caesar salad.

All in all, if you’re looking for a good fit of meat aged and spiced to perfection. Look somewhere else.

Birthday Dinner. Amazing steak and veg. Due to covid owner wasn't expecting it to be so busy. Ended up offering us free app to tie us over. Great service and food. Definitely be back.

Great Service, nicely spaced out tables with plexiglass between & bottles of hand sanitizer on every table. Felt very clean and safe. Servers all wore masks and face shields as well. We love this restaurant - always receive friendly and prompt service and the ambiance is great either for a date night or to bring your family. Food was excellent and they have one of the best Caesars I’ve ever had!!

Birthday dinner food was tasty and portions were just right

We had a great time. The first restaurant my six year old ate all his food and had a great time at because of the board games. The atmosphere and service were great too!

This is mine and my husbands new favourite restaurant, the food is incredible and we always get great service!!

Great food and night as always. No wait. Service was good. Food was good, hot and fast.

Every time we come here we have a great experience. The staff is fantastic, the food is delicious and we will definitely return! We had Kylie as a waitress this past Valentine’s weekend and she was wonderful. We love coming here!

Stopped in for an impromptu lunch.
We were seated to our table promptly and courteously. Our server took our drink orders and delivered in quick order.

We ordered our food when the drinks arrived and the time wait for the food delivery was normal for a steak dinner.

The food was served at the proper temperatures and was tasty.

Our server was friendly and professional and checked in often enough to make sure our needs were being met.
When we signalled that we were finished the cheque was delivered in good time.

All in all a pleasant experience.

Great food! The steaks were cooked perfectly and the service was great. I really liked the casual, comfortable atmosphere here. Will be back!

Our dinner was absolutely delicious , however the noise level was quite loud and distracting. The music seemed to be up too high, therefore everyone felt the need to speak over it.

All of the five persons in our party remarked on the great flavour of their meals. Being a Thursday evening, it was not as busy/noisy as perhaps on a weekend (deliberately chosen), and exceptional service was received. The meal, and the entire experience, was very enjoyable, and we will not hesitate to return, in future.

Loved the high booth we were in. Very comfortable and roomy. Service was great. Good menu selection and food was delicious. We came with our friends who had never been. All agreed we would definitely come back again.👍

Absolutely enjoyed our dinner, and our server (Codie?) was great!

Nice casual atmosphere for families. The games for the table to play as a family are a nice touch. Food and service were both excellent.

The steak was over cooked, ordered medium. It was barely warm, the mushroom caps were just small pieces of mushrooms and they weren’t hot enough.

It was a great experience from the time we walked up to the door. Incredible customer service and very friendly staff. The food was great!

There was no point of booking a reservation because the host seated walk-ins before us, despite having a reservation.

We have been visiting your location for some time now,and really enjoy the food and the service.
Like being able to make a reservation on line. Liam is always pleasent and very helpful.

We have been to the one in Welland several times because the food is always good and the value is exceptional. Glad to see they are expanding in our area and happy to say the St. Catharines location was also very good.

Excellent service & experience. Prices a bit high but I would go back.
I loved the atmosphere & decor, menu had good options too.

Our experience was just OK. It took quite some time for the waitress to arrive at our table once seated. Although the food was ok, a mistake was made with one of our side dishes. Lastly, was quite surprised that there is no blue cheese in the entire place (crumbles or otherwise) to have with your steak. This is a big oversight for a place that has steak featured prominently on the menu and even has "casual steakhouse" in its name. Get on that one, Mr Mikes!

Salad and salad were good but noise level was very high. As we got used to it and started speaking louder then we usually do, it was ok.

Good service, great food and fair value, what more could you ask for!

Had a wonderful dinner Friday night. Our server Casey was excellent as was the manager Drew. Food was great and reasonably priced. Definitely will come back and would recommend it.

Overall the food was overpriced and underwhelming, the atmosphere was lacking and we would not recommend this restaurant to our friends and family. The butter chicken bowl was swimming in sauce and extremely spicy. The Mr Mikes burger was quite possibly a frozen hamburger and had to be sent back for its unappetizing taste. When the food was sent back the manager brought a new dish to the table and failed to acknowledge the issue with the previous meal. Additionally, a request was made to have two high chairs available at the table and they were not at hand as well as it had been communicated that there was a birthday and there was no acknowledgment of that either.

Had a great experience at this place. First time but wont be last ! Thank you

New place that is trying hard to earn your return visit. They have me hooked.

It was good. I really enjoy the food and atmosphere

Wasn’t impressed with lipstick on the glass and when brought to attention of our waiter the response was, lipstick is tough to get off glasses these days and that glasses sometimes have to be washed three times to get them cleaned...this glass was definitely not washed three times and whoever poured the glass needs have some attention detail...it definitely didn’t start our experience off well......we had no further apology or discount from a manager...just unsure how it gets missed...it was quite disgusting.

The steak was terrible manager and waiter said it was shipped in fresh today. Don’t care it was a 16 oz steak and it looked like those 19 plz steaks you used to get at another restaurant in the 70’s won’t come back thanks

Music was way to loud the service was great though and food was good we would come back.
