Food was ok. Waitress was new but tried hard. Didn’t care for the lamb pot pie that we had heard lots about but maybe it was just me. Others at another table were very loud. Definitely an Irish pub.

Bridget was very professional with a great attitude, The food was very good and the atmosphere was inviting and comfortable.

Not the freshest food. Of course, I should have known. After all, it is a college bar.

Glad we reserved a table! The calamari appetizer was very good and a very generous portion. I highly recommend the squash and cider soup. It was perfect for a chilly evening and delightfully balanced. Another in our party had the fish and chips - first rate haddock and excellent fries. The Guiness chocolate pudding was as light as a mousse and was deeply chocolatey. The apple crisp and ice cream was actually better than Mom’s. The waiter was wonderfully attentive and humorous. If Dartmouth ends up being the chosen college, we will be back!!

It is always a pleasure to visit Murphy’s while passing through Hanover NH on the back of a foliage trip. The staff is friendly and attentive. The menu has a good combination of fresh and seasonal, and reliable options. Covid precautions clearly being followed. We really enjoyed the Brussels Sprouts for an appetizer.
It’s a nice respite in this crazy world! Highly recommend!

Our overall experience was pleasant but our server was outstanding..friendly..attentive and competent.

We had a wonderful meal and excellent service. We were just very disappointed when we got our bill and found that we were charged $16 for a glass of pinot grigio...absolutely ridiculous...and $14 for a glass of cabernet. We were never offered any options and incorrectly assumed we'd be getting the house wine....bad assumption...don't make our mistake!

In the time of Covid we were so socially distanced than we had a room to ourselves! Our server was especially sensitive to social distancing and was engaging and helpful. The real shock was that I ordered a medium-rare burger and that's what I got...a perfectly cooked burger! My partner had their roasted beet and ricotta salad that she proclaimed was one of the best she had ever had. I would love to return to this Pub when it is in full bloom, post virus. It is a delightful space with many rooms decorated as we have seen in pubs throughout the UK.

Best service in town, bar none! Love this place - they always make me feel like home. Great seasonal cocktails. They also have a great selection for vegans and vegetarians. Say hi to Simon and Mike!

Food was outstanding. Accommodated our vegan requests. I highly recommend it, and will go again soon.

Murphy's was great. Very well disciplined with regard COVID precautions. Food was good and the service was terrific. Very dog friendly. They even brought out a bowl of water for our dog.

The space was pretty safe with distancing and servers wearing masks. It is right next to the road though but covered. Same good Murphys food.

Murphy’s was great, yet again, much the best restaurant in Hanover, NH. Terrific food and beer, and even better service — swift, helpful, friendly.

Wait staff was so great! The restaurant did a very good job accommodating outdoor space during this crazy time. Food was average and prices decent.

I love the atmosphere of Murphy's, with its photos of sports heroes and old-timey Irishmen. The food is good, the staff friendly, and if you're into whiskeys, they have a great selection.

Out door cafe in the street- My first eating out in months. It would have been fun if a purely social occasion. As a location for a business meeting with loose papers, it was challenging due to breeze and lightweight disposable dishes. Service was great.

Thank you for being open I really appreciate it. While you probably had all of your table or chairs from one table to the next, at 6 ft., as a healthy but 69 year old, it felt too close to me. I loved everything else but may probably won't return because of that. I also understand you're trying to get as many people as possible to have your business survive. I get it. Thanks to your staff for putting themselves at some risk for us to enjoy ourselves. Good luck to surviving this event

What a joy to have Murphy's back in action! It has long been the heart of "downtown" Hanover but how appropriate it is now to enjoy their classic food and friendly service sitting right on Main Street itself. Welcome back!

Nice Butternut Squash veloute, Tons of lobster in the Risotto, perfectly cooked Cod. Very good service.

We made a reservation as recommended on line but the place was empty on a Friday afternoon. It didn't take long to find out why. The waitress adequately performed her thing but it came without a hint of joie de vivre. We ordered an alcohol free lunch hoping for a more reasonable tab. I had the fried fish dinner which was 2 small pieces of fish fried in a lot of dough, some tepid soggy french fries and "house" cole slaw that I didn't finish. Another had a sandwich so dry he asked for some remoulade sauce like I got with my fish. My carrot cake dessert was ok but another found marsh mellow fluff on his brownie. When we got the tab for $100 we knew this was the last time we'd be eating at Murphys.
