MyGrain Brewing Company
My Grain brewery is always amazing! Sunday brunch... evening dinner... weekend night out -- perfect for every occasion!
The menu is always interesting and there's something for everyone. The beers are top-notch and the staff always goes above and beyond for us.
Really enjoy the food and beer at this place. I recommend it as one of the gems in Joliet.
Great food, beer, and service like always! Definitely a go-to spot in downtown Joliet!
We were very disappointed in MyGrain Brewing. The service was very poor. We had been told twice that she would be right with us, took about 15 minutes to get our order placed. The noise level was extreme, if you want to have a conversation with someone, this is not the place to go. We actually left once we were finished due to the noise level. Our other issue was price, too high for the area. We spent $105 and that was with 2 people drinking water. That seemed high when we know of other restaurants that serve similar items at a lower price point. All four of us decided we will not be back, not worth the noise or cost.
Beer, food and service were all great ! This place is a hidden gem in Joliet !
Great food. Beers were hit or miss, and I had several that were off style. Not just a little off style, but way off. Like a session ipa that we though was a malty saison.
Very friendly staff, wonderful food, and delicious beer! Will definitely be returning.
I was happy to see wine on the beverage menu. Our food was the correct temperature and very tasty. Your staff was attentive, not not overbearing. I delightful experience
This was the first time I had been to MyGrains for brunch. The menu was perfect and to my surprise they had live acoustic music too. My friends and I enjoyed the music and the food was excellent. Staff is always welcoming. We will definitely be coming back soon.
What a gem! Terrific beer, great food and stellar service from our server Mary. We would definitely come back!
Valentines dinner with my lovely wife. Beer was fantastic, service great and food was fresh and tasty.
Excellent brewery with great beers and excellent food. Go there quite often.Yes. Downtown Joliet is a bit drab right now, especially in the winter, and with the construction, but it is well worth the trip. Try it. You will like it, more so if you also like craft beer.
I’d give it 10 stars if I could! We made a reservation and were seated right away. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I had the fish tacos and they were the best I’ve ever had! The sauce was a little bit spicy, which I love. They tapped a new beer, and it was delicious. We were there for Valentine’s Day, so they surprised all their guests with a delicious chocolate fondue. I can’t wait to go back!
We went again this year for Valentine's Day. Had great specials and free fondue dessert. Everything was fresh and prepared well. Many special beers offered on a regular. I don't drink beer, but the husband loves their brews! Owners are really nice and hands on. Great for a quick bite or a night out.
We had a great time at the Bloody Mary event. The Brewery is a very nice space and service was very good. WE will be back.
I took my 11 year old for brunch. They were out of decaf coffee, and we sent back the pancakes because they were terrible...flat, hard and tasted like old batter. I very rarely send anything back. The menu is very limited for breakfast items. Our server was nice but inexperienced and inattentive. This is a place you go to for great Bloody Mary’s and limited food options. If you want to drink at 10 a.m., come here; if You want tasty breakfast food, a wide selection, good coffee and attentive service, go somewhere else.
Great beer, food and welcoming staff. Great place!
Food and service were great. One of our orders got messed up, but our serve fixed the issue quickly.
This brewpub has a great menu of appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches and entrees that are far from ordinary. Every item is made with a unique combination of ingredients that will not disappoint. Love this place. Food is truly awesome.
Nice place in a repurposed space. Great choice before a show at the Rialto, only a couple of blocks away so easy walk. Good food...rueben, pork tenderloin sandwich, arugula salad and gnocchi were all good choices.
If you like craft beer, a worthy place to try!
I am more interested in food and atmosphere.
We loved it here! Great service. Tasty beer and drinks. Great food. I recommend they add things like honey or cinnamon butter for the yummy sweet potato fries that they have. Also having actual cheese curds to see on the fries. But the food was super good prices weren’t bad either. Overall a great experience. We did our work party here.
Great service, good food and beverage. Fun dining in old train station.
Great food and great service!
Quantity of food was disappointing, Reuben sandwich didn’t have much meat, a salad was ordered with salmon (extra $6) and was maybe a 2x2 piece , burger ordered medium well which it was not, fries on multiple orders not hot , maybe warm. Bottom line is if you are just looking for drink place it’s ok.
Outstanding selection of creative entrees and tasty craft brews. Wait staff is friendly and attentive. Looking forward to returning!
The beer selection was great: including 6 dark beers to pick from. The food was also great with a large variety on the menu. The service was excellent. Got very busy around 6. It should be even better when the parking and rods are finished! I highly recommend MyGrain Brewing Company!
Our brunch was excellent and our waitress was very good. She was a lot of help when it came to beer selections and brought us a sample to try. We came with friends and had a great time! Always a fun place with great food!
We had dinner at MyGrain Brewing Company before going to a show at the Rialto Square Theatre. The service, food, and beer were excellent, with a nice comfortable ambiance. Although it was busy, we never felt rushed and enjoyed a nice relaxing meal to start our night out. This really is a hidden gem in downtown Joliet. Can't wait to go back!
Great food and drinks. I like that everything is either from there or local distilleries. Service was amazing. Definitely planning to go back.
I would give it a second chance. I feel like maybe they’re still working out the kinks in the kitchen.
We sat down at a table for 4, needing 6, for trivia night. After we told the hostess of this and our other two friends arrived they were rudely told by the hostess staff member that they could not be accommodated and basically told “sorry” which we took as they had to leave. After asking management and basically going up to the trivia team, only then did a manager so graciously pull two chairs over to let our friends stay with us. Even this manager was rudely spoken to by this hostess, who purposely sat people at the table the manager was currently working to set up for us which was ridiculous. There was also another table to our left that the hostess would not allow our friends to sit at even after the customers were literally telling us to take their table. The customers who then were seated on both sides of us weren’t even there for trivia which we were told were designated tables for this.
Our food came which was subpar at best, but the most disgusting part of the dinner was the hair my husband found in his dipping sauce. His fish in his fish tacos was also undercooked which is currently causing him a lot of digestive discomfort. His cola was also flat seltzer water so we had to hunt the waitress down again to get him a new drink.
Our server was nice but would also vanish for almost 30 minutes at a time but we understand it was busy because of trivia night so we get that.
Overall this was a terrible experience which was disappointing having been told this restaurant was “top quality” so sadly we will not be returning.
This is a hidden gem! The service and food were great.
Dining before Rialto performance
Service excellent. Food good, but not outstanding. Very noisy.
Great atmosphere, really good food, extremely slow service. Why so few waitresses on a Friday night?
Great variety of craft beer and food. The service was prompt and courteous. Owners stopped by our table and asked how we were doing. Very friendly. Definitely will go back soon.
Nice! Good beer! Food good! They could of used another server or waitress. It was very busy the evening we went. So service was a little slow. But the waitress was nice and friendly. The order was correct and the food was good.
Beer tasting with Dans candies. Very good. Overall it could have been explained better but still was a great night great beer and candies were great.
