The food was amazing. However, our server seemed “above the influence.” She forgot to put our order in and forgot our drinks. The manager was nice enough to comp our cocktails through. Overall, I will return. The hibachi chef could use a bit more personality. I will give them another chance.

I made reservations for our first sweetest day together, it was such a lovely experience. My partner absolutely LOVES hibachi and truly enjoyed his time there as well. The service was great, we were seated on time, and the vibe was perfect. Definitely would come back for another occasion, but not everyday dining as it can get quite expensive.

Always enjoy Nara but I think because we came at 9:30 my server and chef was ready to go home. I don’t blame them but positive energy would have been better

This is a great place to dine. Its very clean the servers are friendly and all the staff work well to earn the 5 stars given. The food is simply amazing!😋 I love how it has 3 sections Habachi, lounge& hooka. The cook (Vincent) was fun and made the experience a better place 😊

Great food and service although they were out of ranch for my sesame wings.

I took my 3 kids, all under age of 10, to dine there. Super overpriced. $150 for us 4. No cocktails. Ton of oil used in the food. Value is not there.
We are sorry to hear about your experience at Nara. Higher costs for labor, meats and seafood are leading to higher prices. The chefs typically squirt what looks like all oil but is mixed with cooking wine as well.
Great service, the food was delivered promptly and we got to have a chat with the owner, who was a great guy. Highly recommended!

Server seemed to be having issues. Took forever to get menus & no kid menus or regular menus provided-only received bar menus even though we were seated for hibachi. Cocktails took half hour to get. Lamest sake bombs ever-they just hand you a beer & bottle of sake…. Hibachi chef was not very interactive or entertaining. We all received just plain fried rice despite having ordered different kinds. Dessert was brought out without table being bussed first. They did sing happy birthday which was nice. Food quality was pretty good, although steak was a bit bland.

We had an amazing experience for a birthday celebration. The staff was all amazing and the chef did a great job entertaining us while preparing our meal. Definitely 5 star experience.

This is my second time at Nara. The first time was great the food was good the staff was great. Yesterday 9/17/21 it was awful. Our waitress had no personality, the food was bland, the crispy calamari was over cooked and salty, the sake was good and priced right though, and we were also charged $12 to substitute a meat for a meat that was less expensive. It would of been nice for our waitress to let us know that the up-charge or difference would be that much. We could of just had the lobster instead of steak it would of been cheaper. Our chef was great though super nice and funny. I think I will go back to Benihana.

This was easily the worst service experience I’ve had in a long time. Our server was not very present or responsive, and our dinner took approximately 90 minutes to arrive at the table. We had somewhere else to be in the immediate area right after dinner, and the delay caused us to be late. When we realized that we were cutting it close to time, we just asked for our bill and to cancel our meal orders. Our server completely ignored that request, and lo and behold, two minutes later our order magically appeared. After such a delay, you’d expect that the food would have just been prepared, and thus, super hot — unfortunately, that is not the case. Our food was not hot, and felt as though it had just been sitting there waiting for an extended time. After we’d asked to just get our bill and cancel the order, you’d assume that the server would apologize, maybe grab a manager to intervene and apologize, or SOMETHING! None of that happened. How disappointing. I’ve been here many times before, but it is unlikely that my family and I will return.
Please also note that I am aware that many restaurants are struggling with staffing shortages; I dine out very regularly, and I get that. That is no excuse to be totally inattentive to your tables and at least acknowledge customers’ negative experiences. Communication, expectation setting, politeness, and a simple apology, go a long way. Ignoring someone’s negative experience is never the way to go.

Waited an hour an 2 minutes with a reservation and all I heard was loud children

They took too long to bring anything out and it just wasn’t all that
Reem, we are very sorry for your delayed service. We understand that the overall experience is as important as the food. We are sorry we missed the mark. We are working hard on staffing to ensure this does not happen again.
Had a reservation for a table inside, but when we got there, they only had teppanyaki tables, or tables outside because there was some sort of event going on that apparently happens several days a week (we went on a Friday). Not really acceptable. Its nice that you had your restaurant filled , but you should let people know that make reservations during these times that an inside table may not be available. Food was ok, nothing great. Service was extremely slow, took a long time for food to come out, server barely came by. Wouldn't recommend.

They appear to be running a separate hookah club out of the hibachi restaurant which they are running security guards valet etc for with the parking lot all coned off.
The hibachi waitress was rude, slow and was chastised by the chef as she didn’t ask the questions he needed to make the food which is impressive since it’s basically rice choice, soup choice and protein choice.
I’ve eaten here 20 times easily over the years. This was a different restaurant and the chefs clearly now hate thier jobs and didn’t do any of the showmanship of hibachi making it just an expensive rice dinner.
Also they don’t even offer the hot rocks that are part of their name anymore.
We want to thank you for being a loyal customer over the years and assure you that our chefs are happy to be a part of our team. We are sorry about your overall experience. We will be sure to address your review with our waitstaff. We understand that customer experience is as important as the food we serve.
