Named after the southern Greek peninsula of Peloponnēsos, Nēsos Newport Beach is an ode to family, tradition and philoxenia. Our menu offers rustic Greek cuisine, created by timeless recipes passed down from generation to generation. Our ingredients are the focus of each dish, sourced from Hellenic farms and artisan Greek producers. Nēsos pays homage to the small villages throughout Greece, who with their farmers, craftsmen and occupants, have permanently embedded our love for Greek cuisine. Nēsos is our interpretation of Greek culture and family, where it is most often celebrated at the dinner table.

First visit, food was exceptional as well as the service - though the bar was the only spot available. Very expensive. Suggest sharing food choices. Would be good for one time maybe and for very special occasions.

Excellent Greek food. The Taramasalata is the best I have ever had- and I grew up in Greece!!!!

We had a lovely dining experience. Food is delicious and very fresh. Only disappointing thing is we went to celebrate my husband’s birthday. After dinner I let the waiter know and asked if they do anything for special occasions. The only thing he was able to do is bring out a toddler size ramekin of vanilla ice cream with a candle. It was ridiculous for a grown man. We were told it’s the owners decision not to do anything special for birthdays. It’s disappointing such a lovely restaurant is unwilling to go the extra mile to celebrate special occasions.

Greek sea bass was too bland. Moussaka was more like lasagna and even after 15 minutes was so hot (temperature) that burned your tongue! We wondered if it was microwaved. The prices are too high for the average food. We have had a lot better Greek food at much more reasonable prices.

The front desk and manager treated us exceptional when we walked in ..We decided to change our reservation to the bar and brought us a small snack while we waited.. The bartenders made us incredible drinks. We really enjoyed the restaurant. It was beautiful inside great food.
