New Belgium Brewing - Asheville
Great outdoorsy atmosphere with very friendly people
Your final day of 2020! It was bittersweet to the end. But we’re both so glad we got to say goodbye to the team! Wishing you all lots of love! Stay safe! Donna & Dan (and our little dog, Phoebe)
The best service! Thank you Steve and Andrew for such a wonderful experience. We always love to visit New Belgium when in town.
First I love New Belgium beers, but with that said, it was a meh experience.
Our server would disappear for 20-30 minutes at a time and with a party of eight, there were overly long gaps when we were sitting around waiting to order. While there was music out front, it was largely muted for the tables in the rear. Thus the ambiance was quiet and well ... subdued.
Hoping for a little livelier environment for beer tasting in the future
The service was poor, which is not normal. Hopefully this is just a fluke as we typically really enjoy going to the taproom. However, today the service was so poor we left without getting anything.
Very relaxing and casual place to have a beer with friends.
Travel stop. G8 beer and safe outdoor experience during covid times
It was a wonderful brewery that was amazingly priced in a fantastic area
Great beer, awesome service. We did not try the foodtruck's food (Cecilia's kitchen) but I thought it was great that there was a Foodtruck there. The surroundings are nice and well kept. Had a great relaxing time
We ordered food from a food truck. Beer and service was great. Mice view of the Broad River.
Great view on patio. Pork and chicken tamales from food truck delish! Honey Orange Tripel to die for! Buy it there, impossible to find!!!
Great beer and great service
Disappointed that they didn’t offer tasting flights but enjoyed our afternoon on their patio by the river!
Hands down the staff is why we go-
Aaron Danielle Matt Mike Adam Laura Natalie- each one of them keeps ya returning every week!
Great afternoon while on vacation. Relaxing and fun.
We always get wonderful service and GREAT BEER at New Belgium! We appreciate how they continue to meet the challenges of the pandemic in very careful, thoughtful ways, which provides an environment where we can actually relax and not worry about our safety and the safety of others. And the New Belgium staff remain upbeat and welcoming and friendly throughout all of it!
This is my husband’s all time favorite brewery- and we’ve been to quite a few! We love everything about New Belgium!
My fridge is loaded with their beer, but the visit to the brewery was underwhelming. Probably worth a second try post-pandemic.
It was the highlight of our first vacation since February (thanks COVID). They took all the precautions and our table overlooked the river. Great night!
Friendly, patient and helpful staff. Very pleasurable experience and very tasty beer!
New Belgium was fantastic - as expected. Social distancing, enforcing face masks, limited capacity all made us feel incredible comfortable and safe. Table service was quick and painless. The food truck had the most amazing tamales and empanadas. And as always, the beer was cold, crisp, and oh so tasty.
The staff was very friendly, informative, and professional. The rules and expectations for COVID precautions were clear and reasonable. The beer is always amazing. 11/10 my favorite brewery.
Good beer and good service. Food truck was amazing.
Good beer and felt safe with the precautions they are taking.
They only have a specific food truck each day of week so look ahead on website to determine the food trucks menu on day you plan to visit. With current NC COVID-19 rules we were unable to take tour of brewery or go inside which decreased the experience of going to a brewery. Also have to make reservation for table so don't plan on just dropping in to grab a brew.
Great service very safe environment
Finally got to visit New Belgium. Bummer that it is a little dialed back because of Covid. We'll come back when we can get the actual tour but the beer and food was good and we enjoyed the outdoor seating.
Great beers in an awesome atmosphere with super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Always recommended!
Excellent Service, Beer and Food, as usual!!!
We had a great time visiting New Belgium. They have great Covid-19 safety protocols set in place. Overall, an enjoyable way to taste some of their beers outside on their patio.
Great space to enjoy the outdoors while having a craft brew! Had a great time!
Great beer; excellent setting; pets are allowed and adored!
29th wedding anniversary trip underway - we decided to visit New Belgium. Happy to have made advance reservations as the lines were long on the beautiful day that we visited, Saturday, October 3. The servers did the best they could under the pandemic guidelines; some seemed to be a bit more “paranoid“ than others which tends to make a visitor feel “unclean“. It’s a delicate balance and some individuals were better at it than others.
Great brewery! They did not have food available to order, but we had amazing bbq delivered to the brewery. Overall great experience!
Very relaxing visit. Waitstaff was very helpful and provided excellent service. Tables were spaced a out due to Covid-19. I do recommend making a reservation.
No experience with dining as new Belgium had a food truck and we didn’t eat from it- survey wouldn’t allow me to proceed without completing. This may skew the overall rating. Wait staff was engaging and fun, atmosphere good, due to COVID no flights of beer but in general good experience.
Social distancing was great. Beers were delicious.
It was a great evening; good beers and a food truck with nice food choices. Really enjoyed our evening.
From beginning to end we love it here! Must go and see for yourself.
We visited Asheville this summer and were unable to go to New Belgium because we didn’t have a reservation. When we planned a return trip I made sure to make reservations several weeks in advance. On the day of our visit we were seated at the very first table, right by the host station with no view of anything except the the parking lot. After we started or second round of beers we noticed there were a couple of parties leaving from the tables facing the river. We asked the hostess if we could be relocated. She said she was unsure because they had a lot of reservations that day, but she would have to ask someone else and would get back to us. 15 minutes later she hadn’t come back so we asked the other hostess. This time I was more specific, asked could we move to another table with a view and they could seat the next party at our table. This woman also said she was unsure and would have to ask someone else. 10 ministers more pass and I flagged down the first hostess. She said we couldn’t move because they had a lot of reservations that day. We explained that we also had reservations and they could easily move us to another table and seat the next party at our table. She said she was unable to relocate us because if she did “we’d just be playing Tetris all day”. I’m not sure why this was such a difficult task for the hostess. By nature of the job a hostess is always “playing Tetris”. It’s not like there was much to move since they don’t serve food. It would only requires us to pick up our disposable cups and carry them with us to the new table. Instead, we left. It’s unfortunate that the service doesn’t match up to the quality of the beer or the beautiful setting.
