Always great at the Newmarket

I booked for a table for 4 people for dinner, arrived little earlier, but was advised by staff other people have sat at our table. Either they could be moved or they would give us another table. Manager was apologetic and gave us complimentary pizza and salad which was really nice of them. Service is great, nice renovated pub, would definitely go again.

Friendly Staff, Relaxed atmosphere, Great service and a clean modern facility. Always look forward to this venue for our XMAS lunch.

Since ive been going to the Newmarket I have nothing but great things to tell other people when asked. And now Pagewood fc are now involved I think it’s the best thing our club has done in my 7 years at Pagewood fc. Massive thanks to all management and staff at the Newmarket

Great pub food - the quality is never disappointing. Will book out the back next time as the traffic noise was quite annoying and disruptive to conversations being had.

Great food, busy place but meal service was managed very well.

We dine at the Newmarket every Tuesday. There is a varied menu plus a specials board. Quality is always high and prices reasonable making for very good value.

Pizza night. Best pizza.

Nothing was a problem for the staff. They did everything they could to accommodate our requests. It was a very wet cold evening and they still managed to make our night fantastic.

We booked for dinner Saturday night
Dinner was great. The girl on staff noticed we we watching the races on our phones and asked if we would like to move into the lounge if she could find us a table. Found a table for us and we had a great night

We stood at the counter for 10mins not getting served and when we did the girl that was serving us didn’t greet us just asked what he wanted and to us her body language didn’t feel like she wanted to be there or serve,she was moody.Apart from that everything was great.

Easy to enter and the staff were nice. Would be awesome if you increase your vegan options. We went to the nighthawk diner to eat because there was only 1 option.

This place is my go to for awesome and elevated pub food that’s restaurant quality at pub pricing. Lots of dining spaces, daily specials, great wine and beer and on the weekends - it’s pumping (except during COVID). They take social distancing seriously and it’s best to enter via the free parking out the back. Their pizzas are to die for and they’re on Uber Eats!

In my opinion, one of the best pubs in Sydney. The staff is very friendly and the food is absolutely amazing. The Mexican dishes are over the top and so are the pizzas. Everything is very tasty. You can’t never get disappointed at Newmarket. Last but not least, give a try for their Strawberry Mojito, it’s just soooo good.

Had a great Parmy the chicken was very tender loved it , the steak was also pretty good also good value for money , only negative would be no atmosphere in the bistro felt cold not good decor , it seems that a lot of people prefer to be in the beer garden. Overall a reasonable experience.

The meals were delicious and have dined here on numerous times.
I feel the staffs duty of care especially during Covid needs to be amped up a bit. We did have a reservation but no one was there to ask us who we were etc we just walked around until we found our table.
We were placed near a door that was meant to be closed due to Covid but people kept coming and going through it and a couple of times staff just turned around and pretended like it wasn’t happening with one entry meant to be through the car park.
When ordering we weren’t given any cutlery and then our meals came out and I asked where we collected cutlery from to be told bar.
Just a bit of customer service and a smile goes a long way especially with everything going on I’m aware it’s a hard time for all.
Overall the meals were worth every cent maybe just better organisation of bookings and better communication for cutlery etc

We are regular diners at the Newmarket. Great food with a wide choice of classic dishes, good specials as well as wood fired pizzas and a Mexican menu. Join as a red card member for even better value.

On arrival I was asked if my guest was with me and I said no so they let two other people ahead of me. I asked if I could wait at my table and they said ok. The people that were moved ahead of me were not asked to scan to check in. I pointed this out to the security guard and he said don't worry about it. He then yelled at me to "move inside", I asked him to please step back and let me through as he was blocking the entrance and not letting me pass through with space. There was 1 x vegan option on the menu. I asked if there were any other options and was told no. I came back to order and was served by someone else who gave me 3 more options and I chose one of those. If it wasn't for that server giving me the additional options I would have scored the experience as 1 star.

Food is awesome, great atmosphere. My favourite pub.

Ideal venue for anything from a quick bite to eat, a business lunch or a casual dinner and drinks with friends. Great service and food too!
