Been here before so knew the food was good but the service on this occasion was pretty poor. We weren't offered water at any point throughout the evening, had to pour our own wine, one of the main dishes arrived at the same time as the starter and the second main dish never arrived - later they told us they'd forgotten it and gave us a completely different dish. On a positive note, the food was still good (when it arrived) and they ended up not charging us for the delayed/incorrect dish.
Waitress told us to wait for a few minutes before paying the bill so we could get happy hour discount. Very thoughtful!
Beautiful food, wonderful staff, they were under pressure and still managed to be exceptionally nice and helpful Definitely the place to eat in Darling Harbour - the food is also very good.
didn’t even receive a menu. Had to look online. sat down the seat ourselves wasn’t even served at all and needed to walk over to the waiter to get their attention. Never coming back again. Rude cashier
Very unfriendly service and I found hairs in my food.
The food is consistently great with a wide choice on the menu. They let me bring a birthday cake for my dinner and did not charge ‘cakeage’ as other places have done! The service could have been a little more attentive as we had to flag someone down to order, to get another beer and to get the bill. The main meals did not come together and the last meal came when the first one was almost finished.
Was ok. Have had better.
It took about 50 minutes to get our food served to us. Although the food was of a good quality, I found the service was lacking or without willingness to serve. In addition, food prices were different on invoice to what we have seen on a menu.
Lastly, I find it of a poor attitude to charge extra for usage of a credit card. Especially since Australia is moving towards a cashless society.
Confirmed reservation, but wasn’t open.
The meal was delicious and I'll go back. The only negative which could have been a big one was that the restaurant staff had no record of my openTable reservation for a table for 12! If you are reserving a table then call the restaurant directly as it looks likely there's a technical issue somewhere.
To get the negative out of the way the service was not the best. We had to try 4 times unsuccessfully to get one of the waitress' attention to let them know we were ready to order. To get the bill eventually we gave up and went to the bar. It was not especially busy. They were busy chatting to each other.
The six of us ordered a dish each plus entrees. Everything was fresh and tasty. The massaman beef was cooked perfectly. The others were noodle dishes with good flavour. The pricing was within expectation for the area.
I would definitely eat here again and recommend to others.
