North Italia - Fashion Valley
Very nice environment, food excellent, service good.
Nice atmosphere simple menu, perfectly attentive wait staff, good value for the money.
Will go back!
Overall very good. Good prices, unusual yet delicious food, lovely ambience and overall not too expensive. Will be back.
The restaurant space itself is lovely. It is big and spacious and bright and pretty. The service was great and the food was fresh, bright and tasty. I would recommend and can’t wait to go back.
Fabulous Birthday celebration!! Thank you
Wonderful place to have lunch outside not he patio with my dog. Very good chopped chicken salad - highly recommend it. Service was just right! Have been there several times for lunch and happy hour and have found it to be mostly consistent. Had a few blips service wise when they first opened but it was understandable. They seem to have worked it out.
We were excited to try this new place! Came for my fiancé’s birthday on a Wednesday night. Restaurant was not busy but Service was very slow. I had to ask our waitress what her name was because she never introduced herself just “what can i get you to drink”
Drinks took way too long to get to the table.
Calamari was over cooked on a bed of Arugula with some lemon slices. Very Blah.
We shared their “house specialty” Bolognese and chicken Parmesan. both dishes were SERIOUSLY bland and lacked flavor. Had to ask for salt and pepper.
Dessert was actually pretty good we got the salted caramel budino.
Overall would NOT recommend :)
We waited almost 25 minutes for appetizers to come out. Once they came, the white truffle bread and grilled bread were amazing. The white truffle bread was the highlight of the meal. But oh man, let me tell you when I got my entree that’s when I decided I would never be coming back. Both myself and my boyfriend had terrible dishes. I had the Short-rib pasta. The flavors (horseradish and Parmesan) were so dull and contrasting in a bad way and the worst part MY PASTA WAS OVERCOOKED! It was so mushy and had a horrible texture, nothing even close to Al Dente. My boyfriend had the braised short rib dish with polenta, also bland and poorly cooked the carrots were hard and everything was just sub par for the price. Neither dish was worth 22 dollars.
Do not recommend, will not be going back even though the white truffle bread was great.
Great birthday lunch venue! Thank you so much
Pretty generic. Nothing in dining there is memorable. Just ok.
Did not respect reservation, we waited for 30 min . Everything else was great .
As foodies, we can say this is the best restaurant we’ve been to in along time! Thank you everyone!
The food was excellent, but the waitress who was in charge of providing service did not provide the type of service we’re accustomed too at this restaurant. You could tell she didn’t want to be there. When she served our salads she did so without a smile even when we said thank you. When she retrieved our salad plates she took the used fork and placed it on the table to be used for the main meal. Not acceptable! We had to ask for a clean fork. When she provided the forks you could see her visibly frown . We weren’t even asked if we needed anything. This has never happened to us before.
Great food and a beautiful decoration. The happy hour options were nice too.
The food was nicely prepared and was very good, although on a first visit we had only the Happy Hour pizza and Chef's Board with crispy zucca as an appetizer with two glasses of wine. We will return even though it's a distance from Mt. Helix.
The server we had was excellent, but it took a very long time for us to be noticed and finally I signaled to her as she was passing and asked if there were a way we could have service. She was surprised and took our orders and retrieved our earlier wine order and appetizer right away.
Something seemed to be missing when a couple can sit with menus down and looking around hopefully for about 15 minutes and no one noticed us. Perhaps it was that we had reserved a table for two and were seated inside over to the wall without windows and most customers were over near the windows and outside. Other than this problem, it was fine.
Nice place, good & menu. Our salad had to be return, lettuce was wilted, but they replaced it fast. We shared all food, however, we had to ask the waitress for serving spoons twice.
It was a very good time. I love the food and I enjoyed it a lot.
Food is always great but the service needs more training. They forgot our appetizers and it took almost an hour for us to get our meal. Need to train the team a little better.
Great time! Everything tasted amazing!
We were here to celebrate our son's birthday and had a 7:15pm reservation. When we arrived we were seated immediately. Our waiter recommended the white truffle garlic bread, which was fantastic, as was the Chef's Board. Two of us had the Strozzpreti and loved it. My brother in law had the short rib radiator which he loved as well. Unfortunately, my husband and son did not care much for the chicken parmesan or the Bolognese which they felt were bland. No worrys though, because the dessert made up for it (Budino and Bombolini). This was our second visit, the 1st being lunch (love the grinder!) and it will not be out last. Thank you for a great time!
Date night. North Italia is our #1 go to. Love the Chef’s Board...and the cocktails are equally as good.
Our waiter was very attentive and the foo was fabulous.
Definitely try the meatball appetizer. Great recommendation by our waitress.
i would have given the food 5 stars but honestly i requested the squid ink to be mild in heat & it wasn't but, the good thing was they were able to take it back by their insisting. it took longer than 5 minutes becuz everyone else at my table was done w/their meals.
don't get me wrong i loved it just disappointed this time around. i have order the squid ink b4 & it was perfect.
thank you for allowing me to share
Deliciosos alimentos y bebidas!! El servicio excelente
We had brunch. The service although well meaning seemed confused delivering orders to the wrong tables. The selection was nice for brunch. Once we got our food it was very good to outstanding. We were not rushed in eating. The restaurant is beautiful. We would try the restaurant again.
The manager there not good as customer service..plus the drink I oder not what I told him
This was our first visit. Beautiful interior...lots of hard surfaces...very loud! We were seated at a table against a wall - one bench and one chair. Tables are so close that loud talkers sitting right next to us were invasive. However, there are TV’s in the bar with baseball on, so I shouldn’t expect low voices. Wonderful martini, cheesy bread and Caesar salads. Short ribs with tagliatelle were delicious. Squid ink pasta was delicious, but too spicy for me to eat. Unfortunately, as I don’t eat meat, it was my only choice for a pasta dish. They said it was a spicy dish, so I was warned. However, it was too spicy for me to eat. My husband ate my dish and as I don’t eat meat, I ate the pasta around the edge of his dish. I was told in the future I can ask for “hold the chili”. Desert was delicious- affogato and torta were wonderful. Dinner was pricy, but we had cocktails and multiple courses. We will definitely go back again, however, I will ask for a booth and say hold the chili!
I love the food at North Italia and the patio ambience is amazing. When were there they happened to be out of arugula which is a key ingredient in all of my favorite dishes. It was a bit disappointing but still a great night with great friends and great food. The desserts were out of this world. I highly recommend the Salted Carmel Bundi! Best thing ever!
Nice decor and outdoor seating but poor service. We waited five plus minutes for a server when we were sat on the patio as several employees walked by the table multiple times.
Food was bland. Service lacking. Pricey for pasta entree only meals. No soup or salad with the meal. Bread was an afterthought. Waitress too soft-spoken and forgetful.
Has a wonderful family meal with so many delicious choices all customizable to each persons dietary needs!
The food was excellent and our server, Tory, was Awesome!
beautiful new facility, exceptional design that allowed for many customers, but with an acceptable noise level. overall a great experience with nice variations. The pig pizza was expensive but very tasty and the short rib pasta was perfect.
The food and service were excellent. We had the zucchini chips, which were so good! Light, crispy, maybe a tiny bit too salty (and i am a salt lover). For our meal we had the squid ink pasta and, at the recommendation of the server, the pesto chicken pasta. The pesto dish was amazing! Fresh pasta, sauce was slightly creamy and not overpoweringly pesto-y. Perfect balance. The squid ink past was also fantastic, just not my personal fave but my boyfriend loved it. We will definitely come back to try some other dishes!
Just recommended North Italia to a friend today and she made reservations for her family this saturday night....I tell everyone I know about the incredible food and service at North Italia and go there as often as I can!
Everything we ordered was exceptional...except the artichokes. Should have skipped them🥴
Been here quite a few times. Today the service was so so and the food was sitting for a while before it was brought out...each time. Normally the calamari is amazing but today soggy and lukewarm. Server wasn’t around too much or attentive
We eat out often and find North Italia to be a “go to” spot.
