Awesome experience!

While this place is nearly tucked away in the back streets of Milan, I highly recommend you take the effort to go there. We booked a lunch for 2 at 12:45 and were basically the only ones there. Don’t let that fool you, within an hour the place was flowing with people, definitely not a tourist hotspot but a clear local favourite. The food was delicious, highly recommend the pumpkin carmelle pasta with pecorino, butter, black pepper sage and rosemary. Service was fantastic and were very helpful. Portions sizes are great and filling, price point is very reasonable too. Averaging about €15 a dish. Good selection of wines too. And if that wasn’t enough the outdoor seating area is beautiful. A few things that could be improved, fresher bread selection and bring out some olive oil with it, also making sure meat isn’t overcooked, my steak definitely wasn’t medium rare. Otherwise can’t fault the place.

The location is hidden away from the main street and up high in the top of a building. The food was delicious and homemade. A very enjoyable dinner!

The whole experience was AMAZING!! Our waiter Alfredo was funny and very helpful in suggesting food and wine combinations. The location is fantastic! Very romantic! The food...OMG, the food!!! Every bite was like a rush of dopamine to the brain!! Never have I tasted such flavors!! We all said it was the best Italian food of our lives. At the end of the night the staff threw a party to celebrate the birth of the owners daughter and all the patron that remained were told to join in the celebration and help themselves to champagne and cake!

Food was not good. My steak was smothered in clumpy sauce, my daughter’s ravioli was beyond salty, they forgot a side dish of vegetables I ordered...service was slow, ambivalent and rude. Would NOT recommend.

This restaurant is a bit hard to find but once we got in we were very pleased with the little courtyard filled with flowers. The food was good and the price was very reasonable.

Nice Italian restaurant, amazing food and good wine for normal prices. We really have great time.

All aspects of this establishment receive 5 stars. I was especially impressed with how serious they took my wife’s Celiac disease. She could tell they actually cooked the GF pasta in different water and used different tools to prevent cross contamination.

Wonderfully pleasant atmosphere. The piano music in the background really brings a rustic and classy feel alive. I can’t imagine how great this place is in summer when the beautiful veranda is open. Service was incredible as well. Perfect date night.

As I was celebrating NYEs as a solo traveler, the owner was amazing. I would most definitely go back and I highly recommend this place.

Great food with a seasonal menu. The staff was friendly and attentive. The location—off the sidewalk, through the building and up stone steps—has a a large patio and warm interior. I highly recommend!!

This restaurant is off the beaten path in Rome, and not easy to find when you arrive. But once you arrive you are welcomed with a wonderful outdoor space. The food is AWESOME!!! The steak is mouth watering. The owner/manager was lovely and really friendly. Even brought over a glass of lemonchello for us all to drink after our meal on the house. We would go back again the next time we are in Rome!

Small and nostalgic restaurant, great food mix on the menu, very friendly staff. The prices were wonderful for being in Milan. We would definitely come back for another night of casual dinning!

This was a hidden gem and I am glad i found it through Open Table!
We liked it so much that we went there two nights in a row and we never do this
when we are traveling! The owner is involved daily and he is a friendly -- speaks English and
took great care of us!

Specialty is fresh hand cut pasta. Pasta sauces are home made using only the freshest ingredients. An off-the-grid restaurant that’s worth the trip. Recommended it to friends who went the next day and they also loved it.

This was a real find. We went based on Tripadvisor reviews and we were so glad we did. This restaurant is so tucked away that initially we couldn't even find it! It is set back from the street through a courtyard, an unmarked door, a hallway, up a flight of stone steps to the outdoor terrace that is incredibly picturesque. The homemade pasta was outstanding, and you can choose your pasta and your sauce however you like. I'm pretty sure we were the only tourists in the place. The only issue was that the service was very slow, but I think that is more of a cultural thing than an actual problem. Run, don't walk!

Would warmly recommend. Great food, service and ambiance. Don't be discouraged by the walk in.

The owner is clearly passionate about food and drink. It was an awesome experience and I really enjoyed our evening there.

Il personale è qualificato e molto gentile, il menù davvero buono e abbastanza variegato, l’unica pecca sono le tovaglie nere e verdi che non mettono in risalto la location. Delle tovaglie bianche e qualche candela cambierebbero decisamente l’atmosfera.Sarebbe il posto perfetto!

Everything was amazing - the entrees were fantastic and the desserts left you wanting more because they were so delicious. Well worth going just beware of that cute spot outside in the corner to forever be known as mosquito corner.
