Our restaurant is set across two distinct spaces, each offering the same seasonal a la carte menu in a unique atmosphere.

Upstairs, guests dine in relaxed luxury - a calm, comfortable room designed for lingering over beautifully cooked dishes and good wine.

Downstairs offers a livelier Parisian-style bistro setting, where the energy is a little brighter and the tables a little closer.

The same menu is served throughout, allowing guests to chose the experience that suits their mood.

our party have eaten here before a couple of months ago and thoroughly enjoyed the food. However we were all disappointed this time with the menu choice and the price point was notably higher ( mains were all £30 and above and excluded a necessary side @ min £5) Having selected the only mains option available to two of us , a cod dish , we were both dismayed to find it relatively cold. Acknowledge that waiting staff returned to check if everything was ok but rather than upset the dining experience for the rest of the party we did not complain . Overall I know it’s a tough market for hospitality but i feel the price point is now at a level that’s not sustainable for a local high street restaurant .

Great meal at Nouveau - nice choice of starters and mains which everyone in our group enjoyed. Only 3 desserts - maybe one more would have been good, or something simple like a sorbet. Service was welcoming and friendly. We sat upstairs which had a good atmosphere - downstairs was less full. Would definitely go again.

Excellent food. Attentive and knowledgeable service on the menu and the beverages. Second time at Nouveau and not disappointed in any way. Menu had a couple of changes within the month of our visits. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant!

Absolutely SUPERB!!!! Best dining experience I've had in some time. Great ambience, stunning food and incredibly friendly and attentive service. Cannot recommend it enough.

We had a wonderful lunch at Nouveau. Service and ambience was excellent and the Fruit de Mer sharing platter such a treat. We will be back to try the Surf and Turf platter soon!
