We went with the duck and lamb and both were cooked to perfection, as were the accompaniments. The wine pairings were perfect.

Took daughter and son-in-law for holiday dinner. It was beyond their expectations. Excellent in all aspects.

Finally found a place that I felt safe dining in Bangor. Thank you for making our evening so enjoyable & safe.

Fabulous dinner, fresh and well prepared! Great server named Joe, very knowledgeable about menu and fun cocktails to order. Extensive wine list and good beer selection as well! Definitely recommend if your looking for fine dining in the Bangor area!!

My wife and I enjoyed Novio's very much! Our meals were delicious; scallops for me and filet mignon for my wife. Small, quaint restaurant with adequate spacing for Covid-19 times. We spent more money than our usual restaurant visits, but we both felt it was justified for a special night out!

It's always a lovely evening and fantastic food. I especially enjoyed the Old Fashioned Bourbon specialty cocktail list.

Had the chef’s selection menu. Amazing preparation and balance between courses. Perfect wine pairing. I certainly hope they continue with that menu option moving forward. You can feel the passion and expertise with every course served.

This was my first in restaurant dining in 8 months and it was well worth it! Four course dinner was outstanding....great choices for each course. Clearly the best restaurant in Bangor.

Wow!!! We came last week and loved it so much we came back for the same menu. Didn’t think it could get better, but it DID!!!

Fantastic experience. Great cocktails and perfect pace. Second time there and the seasonal menu doesn’t disappoint. I’m a plant-based eater and the 4 course meal was yummy and innovative.

One of the most amazing experiences ever dining out in Bangor. The French menu tonight was beyond anything that we imagined. Wine pairing was perfect...but the best part was the service. Thank you novios for such a special night.

Lovely place to dine in, food portion was generous and deliciously cooked. I loved my scallops (main)! And the dessert was great as well!

We came here for my wife’s birthday and had a really pleasant dinner experience. The server was very friendly and nice. The food was phenomenal and the restaurant was very welcoming. They even put a birthday candle on her dessert!

Superb. Amazing food, spirits,and staff. A MUST for dining in Bangor.

My wife and I had dinner there two days ago. I had the lobster bisque, marinated tomato salad, tenderloin, beignet dessert. All were excellent. My wife had the oysters, house salad, tenderloin and a puff pastry. We agreed the tenderloin was the best we had ever had. Amazing. The only thing not perfect was the oysters. One of the three was perfect and one was over cooked and the third was ok. But all in all a great dinner.

One little improvement could be having dinner plates warm. The food was right from the kitchen to the table but the food cooled a little because the plates were cool. Because a it was so good, we wanted to eat slowly and enjoy it. This is not a negative but a minor suggested upgrade. I suppose they have a reason for not serving bread but this was called a French Dinner and it seems hard to think of a French meal without good bread.

This is, in our opinion based on a long life here, that this is the best place in town now.

I anticipated my visit to an indoor dining experience since I made a reservation. Nothing disappointed. I was pleased and impressed by the precautions Novio’s had taken to make my dining experience comfortable and safe. My dinner companion and I truly enjoyed the Four-Course French Dinner and wine pairings (after all, it was the first in-restaurant dining experience!). Inspired ingredients and flavors. I am already looking forward to my next visit. Lucky for me, Novio’s is a destination dining experience for me; not just down the street.

Unbelievable as usual. Food is Amazing. Drinks are the best around. Owner is there to talk to customers. Can’t say enough positive things about Novio’s! Fantastic!

An absolute perfect evening. After several failed attempts to dine at other Bangor Fine Dining restaurants we made a reservation to try Novio. We were so pleased to see the social distancing and cleanliness practices being followed. There was plenty of room between tables and while attentive the staff don’t crowd our table or each other ensuring a safe distance while being perfect in their service. We will be sure to frequent the bistro to ensure those that are protecting our community are still in the community when we are on the other side of this worldwide pandemic. Thank you.

Novios has excellent food, amazing service and great ambience! It was the first time we had dined in since being quarantined and was every bit as wonderful a dining experience as we had prior to the pandemic! People need to go and see for themselves. Outstanding meal - we've always enjoyed dinner at Novio's but they are now even better than ever. Dustin is working magic in the kitchen and Bob and crew are doing a great job with the drinks, atmosphere and service. Highly recommended!!

Outstanding food and service, worth every penny and then some. Best drinks in town by far.

My wife and I made a reservation for our anniversary. Unlucky enough the night we were set to come in for dinner there was an issue with the water main and we were informed the restaurant wouldn't be open that night for service. Novios went above and beyond by calling another nice restaurant in the area and checking for availability for us. They also gave us a choice to reschedule for the following night with the first round of drinks on them. We decided to stick with Novios and were not let down. I had requested flowers on the table as a surprise and the most beautiful selection had been made. Plus they also threw that in free of charge due to the inconveinience as well. We left after a four course two hour meal satisfied and feeling so grateful for the hospitality we received. The meal was fenominal and all the dishes were so well balanced and pleasing to the eye. Thank you again for a wonderful night to remember!! We will be returning customers for the foreseeable future!!! I highly recommend you get in to Novios for a unique and caring dining experience!

Everything was pretty average. The salmon and fettuccine tasted under seasoned. The salmon was cooked perfectly, just needed more seasoning.

The tuna tartare was very good. Someone else in our party got the beef tenderloin, and he reported that was excellent. However, everything I tasted was average (other than the very good tuna).

Portions were just right.

Love this bistro. It is tight quarters, private conversations are a little tough, but having a wonderful meal, receiving professional service and enjoying a fun evening makes Novio's a 5 star for me. Highly recommend.

Excellent, fresh, original menu items. Be sure to try the chowder. Small, intimate setting but not formal or stuffy. Servers are knowledgeable. Bartender makes a great cocktail. Best restaurant in town! Highly recommend.

Great meal at a wonderful location. Had business associates from out of town. They were all blown away by the food and the overall restaurant experience. It’s great to have a place like this in Bangor!

Has become one of Maine best restaurants! If your from out of town, like we are, it is well worth the trip.
