We were disappointed by our experience at Nu. The dishes we had all had the same flavors (quite sweet) and garnishes and were very one note. The service was slow and transactional, our waters didn’t get refilled, it took 10-15min to get our check, etc even though there was only 1 other table there. The dessert was a thawed frozen cheesecake with inedible corn ice cream. There are many better meals in Tulum.

The restaurant actually closed at the end of august but this booking via OpenTable was never cancelled. Shame. We were really looking forward to dining there.

We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary, the place is beautiful and it was very quite. Eduardo was our server and he did a great job regarding my wife lactose intolerance, he recommended dishes that were to die for and he even invite us a glass of prosecco and the end for us to cheers. The cocktails were great and so the food. We got 2 appetizers, 2 main dishes, 4 cocktails and Q dessert and we paid around $300 including the 20% tip.

After making a reservation for a Wednesday evening, Nu changed their hours to no longer serve dinner that day without notifying us. We walked there only to find out the restaurant was closed and have to make last minute dinner plans. Disappointed in the poor customer communication & management for a restaurant on the Michelin guide.

This was the best dinner I had while in Tulum! We even went to Arca, which was wonderful, but this was just extra special and the staff was amazing. We will definitely come back and we’ll definitely recommend!!
