   This meal was a special fixed menu with rye whiskey pairings, a charity benefit for a great local organization. The food was very good, and the paired gin and whiskey both enhanced the meal and were enhanced by the paired courses.

   We had reservations for Mother’s Day. I understand it was busy but it took 47 minutes to get some food. For a place that charges $47 for an entree you would expect some bread or anything to munch on while you wait an hour … We ordered sea bass - it was not prepared well. They served it on top of dry arugula with some lemon slices and what looked like chopped up tomato on top. No sides no sauce nothing. We also ordered some pasta - I asked for Angel Hair pasta with mixed vegetable and some tomato sauce. I received mostaccioli with pesto sauce and mushrooms - drenched in oil. There was so much oil I had to prop the plate up on a knife so the oil would drain from the food. Coffee took 45 minutes I asked for enough milk to cool it down to drink … they forgot that too. I got a tiny little jar or milk on the side and the coffee was full to the top so I couldn’t add it in. Another 15 minutes to have that corrected. The tables are tiny and packed together you can’t sit without getting bumped. It was a chilly day so we asked to be seated inside - we got seated by the wide open doors to the tent in a huge draft. This was the worst dining experience in over a decade. I can’t imagine how they have any good reviews.

I am surprised, because Angle hair & Mostaccioli are not on our menu and have never been. No one has ever waited 47 minutes for dinner. We will however stop putting hallucinogenic mushrooms on the pizza. I understand that it gave you a bad experience. Next time please ask for a manager instead of posting an exaggerated negative review.

    We love this restaurant! Usually everything is impeccable. We had to eat early, and were the first customers. A very nice but not well trained man waited on us….this led to mistakes like leaving the spicy sauce off the tuna tartar. The beet salad was plentiful and lovely to see. The bill at lunch is same price as at dinner, on the expensive side. I wish the food and service had been great as usual, since my friend was eating there for first time.

    Excellent kosher dairy restaurant. Menu is a little carb heavy, would like to see more protein options. But overall the food is tasty and presented well. Ambiance is very trendy - great place for a date night. Drink menu is probably my favorite in the kosher space.

    Another great meal at Nuovo. I usually get an entree, but this time I tried the BBQ Pizza. Amazing. The gouda cheese with the bbq sauce, bits of jalepeno and potato. Sublime. It was really fantastic. And it was my daughter's birthday, which our waiter did a good job of helping us celebrate. By far my fave local restaurant.

    Fun atmosphere, delicious food, friendly servers. We had Atlantic Char, Ravioli, Veggie Plate, Coffee and luscious dessert. Were able to stay and chat without being rushed. Nice evening!

    We cam to Nuovo for a wine tasting event and decided to have dinner prior to the event. We had been to the restaurant only once before so we wanted to try things we knew would be different from our first visit. We shared two items from your menu, the snapper special and one of your pizzas. Both were outstanding! The texture of the snapper was sumptuous and plated beautifully. The crust on the pizza was crisp and just the right thickness. The cheeses and toppings were perfectly paired. My one criticism of the meal was that the space we were seated in was in a close, confined area too close to other tables and was therefore noisy because of conversations taking place nearby. We're hoping for a better table placement next time, and yes, there will be a next time.

    I usually don’t like leaving reviews but I was extremely disappointed. I’ve been to this restaurant a few times and everything was great so we decided to bring our neighbors who usually prefer to go to Stefanis. We arrived and 90% of the tables were empty yet they seated us by the kitchen which our neighbor wasn’t happy with. We asked to be seated at one of the other open tables and they refused, instead offered to let us sit on the patio. I usually get a beets salad which I recommended they try and they did. Sure enough, only a few crumbs of goat cheese and two pecans. Let’s just say that we will not be back again after last nights experience.

    I looked for reviews to find a place where to go out with my girlfriend to celebrate my birthday. Nuevo has very good reviews and was close, so we made a reservation there. First, I have to praise the space! The restaurant is very nicely decorated with all those lights! I believe that it is even more beautiful in the evening. The music is pleasant, not loud. Second, the staff is very helpful. In reviews everyone praised Chad and I totally agree! He is very hospitable and kind. Shortly- professional in his work. By reading the reviews, I saw that everyone tried the arancini and I have to admit they are perfect! The taste is fantastic and I would recommend them to everyone! Although I wanted to try tagliatelle with mushrooms, which is the most popular, I couldn't because it was morning, so we ordered pizzas. I can definitely say they are great too. I took bbq spicy, and my friend took one with mushrooms. I liked the bbq better. At the end we took the chocolate truffle that arrived with a sprinkler because it was my birthday! All in all, I would recommend this place because the food is really good and varied, there are various dishes for everyone's taste! And yes, the prices are like in downtown, but it is with reason.

    very friendly, excellent service, the pizza was great, the pasta was excellent. We are from out of town, and would definitely come back next time we are in Chicago. I would even order a take out salad, so I could have for lunch, in the city, the next day.

    I chose to go to Nuovo for my birthday dinner. It was an excellent meal. I had the herb-encrusted salmon, my guests had the basil/artichoke lasagna and rigatoni alla vodka. Appetizer was cheese pizza. We repeatedly commented how delicious the meal was. And, as always, the bread in the sealed jar for motzi at the washing station was soft and fresh. Who knew that was even possible?! Excellent meal.
