Fairmont is our fav spot! This restaurant has a great vibe, we love the staff, drinks and menu!

Pre Thanksgiving you would think a few more people. I know Covid. There were 10 patrons in bar at 730 pm. I took no stars off for that. Only for limited menu. Had to order food immediately or no drinks served. Points off for that. I’m sure its Charlie Faker. But other restaurants understand you want a Drink and ponder over the menu. Back down. Great place during normal times.

A beautiful space with delicious food. We came to celebrate a birthday and felt very welcomed and safe in covid times. Absolutely delightful.

Our host greeted us with a stern warning that they would stop serving in 90 minutes and we would have to be out 30 minutes after that. Not a very warm welcome. The food was fine, but my burger was undercooked and the bun was soggy. Our waiter was very good though.

Always a great place. The drinks were cold, the food was on point. The Hostess and server are always professional and friendly.
This is a must try if you haven’t dined here.

Delicious Drinks

Loved coming back finally. It was nice to see the same friendly bartenders and servers after a long year of COVID! Keep up the great work.

After years of many memorable experiences at Long Bar, this was particularly disappointing. First, we were seated in the far back early after requesting the bar or seats by the window in the reservation. And, I was told by the hotel staff that there were many walk-ins that came in that afternoon, taking much of the prime seating. Why should those parties get preference, I ask. And, about half way through our time there was a party of very loud women seated in our section which really disrupted our enjoyable evening. I asked to be reseated for the remainder of our reservation and this could not be accommodated, which was disappointing as another party could have easily been seated at our table....very disappointing and I hope the next time the experience is more on par with the Long Bar standards.

I chose this place to take my boyfriend for his birthday as the venu is beautiful and food looked great. When we arrived the music was fun and lively and the interior decor was lovely. The service however was VERY poor from the beginning. The restaurant was extremely slow that evening and yet we waited 15 minuets to get our waiter for drinks. Then throughout the night he neglected to check on us at all and we ended up placing our food order a little over an hour after being seated. I am all about taking my time with dining and eating but he never came to check on us. When we got our food, the ribeye and a beet salad, the steak was perfectly cooked and hot but the gruyere potatoes were completely cold. For the price and ambiance of this place I did expect MUCH better service and consistency in the dishes. I hope this helps better the service and experience of other diners as it’s a very beautiful place and the flavor in the dishes was absolutely spot on.

Everything was amazing, from the moment we walked through the doors and walked back out. Our waitress was attentive and incredibly kind. I will happily recommend this spot!

Dinner at OAK Long Bar + Kitchen was fantastic! All tables were very well distanced - way beyond the recommended distancing of 6 feet and also separated by a large, protective divider so I felt very safe and comfortable. They didn't have any time limitations to how long we could sit and eat like many places are doing lately. Instead, we were able to relax and enjoy the food, drinks, and lovely ambiance. The service was phenomenal as well. Highly recommend!

It was a perfect dinner, Kania our waitress who has been there for 30 years was just outstanding. We came in from Connecticut, and the restaurant, food and service did not disappoint!

We came here for breakfast/brunch at 1pm however their brunch was done at 11:30, which was not listed anywhere on their opentable site or menu. I had actually booked this place specifically for the gluten free pancakes. Food was ok, nothing special and worth the price. I asked for my burger well done and it was still red inside. Dont recommend this place aside from ambience.

Gluten Free ppl! This place is for you! Outstanding gluten free options including breakfast! The Peach Pancakes were the BEST I have ever had (GF or not)! We loved the grand, spacious, well appointed dining room in the beautiful Fairmont Copley Hotel.

I love the Oak Bar but the service on my last visit was very mediocre.

The OAK Bar is doing a wonderful job staying open during the pandemic. The food is beautifully prepared and service excellent as always.

Cocktails were excellent and food was wonderful. They've set up plexiglass dividers between tables and spaced everything well apart inside. They were also great at making non-meat options of their pizzas for us. And the skillet chocolate cookie is amazing! Worth staying for dessert! They were clearly taking safety precautions seriously but we were still able to enjoy a relaxing meal.

Every time I come to Boston, I make a point to come here. Was so happy to be able to come back. Although every thing is difficult now, we still had a great experience and we were made to feel as safe as possible and our waitress was just adorable and very helpful. Thank you for your service and for keeping this place alive.

Unfortunately we didn’t even get the chance to dine. By the time our server got to our table and took our order for drink (it took an unacceptable amount of time), we were ready to leave.

Lovely place, comfortable and welcoming with great food and service. I miss the martini style with additional beverage held on ice until you were ready for it. Limited menu for the times, but you can't go wrong.

The Oak Long Bar + Kitchen is truly a special event place. It was just the right choice for a birthday celebration. We studied the menus online before our visit, so we knew what to ordwr when we arrived. The hostess and server were pleasant and attentive. We both started with the Lobster Clam Chowder, which contained a generous portion of seafood. Along with our entrees, we requested a side order of fries for the table. The climax of the evening was the presentation of a special birthday dessert prepared just for us, with a lit candle on top! I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone in search of a fine dining experience.

Excellent service - as always! We went for fancy cocktails (always amazing) and some quick food before catching a train. The room is gorgeous and the staff are simply the best.

My girlfriend and I went and everything was amazing. It was my girlfriends birthday and the manager went above and beyond to make it an unforgettable experience. We are also a younger couple, so this is a place of all ages. We can't wait for our next stop there again.

The whole experience was amazing. Making a reservation was easy. Our waiter was kind and helped us make our meal decisions. The food was excellent. I tried the steak which is a new item on the menu. It was cooked perfectly. My husband had the chicken which was seasoned so well. The cookie was delicious.

They acted like they didn’t want us there I was very disappointed I’ve been there many times in the past and I’ve been very happy. But the place is taking a serious nose dive.

Beautiful, laid back place for breakfast. Food was delicious, service was great.

Terrific food and service. The halibut was superb - perfectly cooked and went wonderfully with the crab, watercress and stone fruit salad. The strawberry dessert pizza is divine and a steal at $10. Very attentive, but not overbearing, staff. Excellent but non intrusive COVID controls. Drinks and wine are expensive at around $18 a glass.

The service is well above average. They go out of their way to take care of you. We had breakfast and the peach pancakes were great. A very simple dish but the textures were perfect. Crispy pancake edges with anglaise on top. Fresh peaches on the side for those who don’t want a ton of fruit. We also had eggs Benedict and it was very traditional. Very beautiful building and so it tops off the experience.
