    Lovely way to spend a special lunch. Our server was engaging, helpful and knowledgeable; food was tremendous. The wine list, though pricey, is excellent. Our only disappointment was that we were unable to partake of the 1/2 off champagne due to a long drive back home. This is a go-to for creative French, not too heavy and a wonderful experience!

    Best brunch in Chicago. Delicious quiche, banana bread french toast, and the best salad Lyonnais in the US. Highly recommend!

    Wow! Fully exceeded our expectations. Our server, Ari, was great. Knew his stuff, lots of info about the restaurant and foods, great suggestions, and friendly. The foot was outstanding - every item. And I enjoyed looking at other tables' food too - it was all presented so creatively. We were celebrating our 44th anniversary and Ari and other staff made note of that and we so kind to us. We don't get to Chicago often but we'll definitely go back to Obelix!

    Our waiter was a little overwhelmed when we arrived and it took him awhile to come to our table. The bussers were awesome though and very attentive. Once our waiter got in the groove he was a bit more responsive.

    Everything was amazing from our first cocktails through the last bite of our dessert. Awesome service with a lot of great suggestions for the number of items, best to share and “must have” options. Truly a wonderful night !

    Escargot and Dover sole were both very good although Dover Sole was much more expensive than other restaurants I have had it at equally as good. Was very disappointed in the Duck Breast - hard to cut and chewy. Drink prices were reasonable. I found the 4% staff retention fee ridiculous. Charging a percentage which perhaps I missed on the menu is unfair - I should pay more “retention fee” the more I spend? Restaurants need to either adjust prices or stop taxing customers.
