The food was good. We had to wait an hour for the appetizers and two hours for our entrees. By the time dessert came, we were there three hours. Parties of two and three that were seated 1/2 hour after us, were done with their dinner and leaving before we got our entrees. I'm not sure where the disconnect was. We had a party of two. Really disappointed
I love this place and have been here several times. I usually sit outside but was seated inside this time. It was extremely noisy- the combination of the loud music playing and people talking. I was there with my family and parents and could barely have a conversation. The food was delicious as always! The pita/dips and crack bread were fantastic as apps. We had sea bass, filet, pork chops and they were all delicious. However, sitting inside had a negative impact on our overall dining experience. Be sure to request outdoor seating!
Great food with excellent service. I little loud but loved the warm ambiance and smells
The food is always on point. We had a great, knowledgeable server. I wish I remembered his name. He was awesome.
Great food and drinks!
Oh my goodness! The crack bread is a fantastic addition to the menu! We had a great time and enjoyed a wonderful dinner, as always. The service was excellent too, but timing on the wine could be a bit more prompt.
Food and service very good. Drinks over the top expensive for quality
Amazing food, and service. Would definitely refer to everyone
As always, absolutely original and delicious! The Israeli couscous was fantastic. The poached pear with my meat was truly original and scrumptious. And, as usual, the service was lacking. This would be a 5 star restaurant if the owner trained his wait staff better.
Was able to sit at the bar which is right by the Pass. Able to watch the kitchen at work while we dined.
Great place. Fantastic food
It was my friends birthday. We had such a wonderful time. The food was absolutely incredible! We will be returning soon.
Our waitress did a great job making recommendations and staying on top of making sure our food came out quickly. The chicken and waffles and rock cod were both very good.
The food was great and our server Veronica was very attentive and informative as she made the experience wonderful..
Our server was very helpful for it being our first time there! Great spot
Eggplant parm was burnt and sauce too salty. Music was way loud.
It’s always good food, but service seems slow. And it’s not from the wait staffs i think the kitchen just takes a while to get the food out, but it’s always delicious.
Made reservations and got put in the corner by cob webs and flies
The service was extremely slow, we were there over an hour before receiving our entrees.
Sal Calisi is an absolute genius when it comes to the food that he serves at Odeum. I just love this place!!!
Outdoor accommodations poor: dusty, dirt floor, uninviting. Table decor was lacking.
Told no room indoors because all tables were for bigger parties. When I went in to use the restroom I saw many tables available for our five people.
Poor wait service. Food orders not served to diners at same time. Told they were not brewing decaf coffee today.
Waiter not very attentive and had to be reminded of our requests.
One redeeming feature is food was good. Overcharged for two entrees. No apology or explanation but was rectified by waiter after I caught the error.
Hostess did not honor my selection for indoor dining. She said Open Table reservations are not guaranteed choice of seating. It was standard or outdoor...I chose standard. We were seated outdoors, I was not pleased. This was my third time at Odeum, I probably won’t go back.
Last minute Anniversary dinner but was still able to make a reservation! Was surprisingly busy for a tuesday night but nice to see for a change after this past year. Food was amazing and worth the little extra time need to craft our dishes! Would recommend Odeum to anyone!
Was a birthday dinner they never wished a happy birthday or even acknowledge a celebration. Our cocktails got sent back twice for not made properly. Foods was delicious a bit disappointed to see chef walking around with no face covering on.
Food was great and we ate outside in the tent. Social distance protocols were followed. We were served by Gerry who was, once again, a wonderful server.
Food is consistently very good.
I’ve not ever had lunch or dinner that wasn’t very good.
Friendly but extremely slow service.
Made reservations to dine prior to Mother’s Day crowd. Upon ordering our dinner meal, the menu was “Mother’s Day special” which we weren’t told ahead of time & the server didn’t know much either. 3 out 4 of us are vegetarians. Server informed that they can remove “meat” from any of the limited menu & make it vegetarian. Come to find out, they couldn’t. 3 of us ended up watching my wife eat her meal. During her meal, we had ordered dessert. 25 mins later, no dessert. The server (Pedro) kept apologizing, but didn’t do anything about the situation to rectify or make exceptions. It was the worse dinner experience one can have.
Mothers day eve dinner. Wait staff (Juanita) was fabulous. The chef was in the zone and everything, including the drinks, were perfectly paired. This is our new haunt.
The food is always good at Odeum, but the service is another story. The food takes forever to be served, and the staff never seem to know anything about the menu
Food was great, but service was poor. It seemed as though our server was also bartending so he wasn’t very attentive to us.
Yummy!...altho my husband was put off by the lack of Old School menus.
Odeum was perfect pick for a lunch spot. The special fish item was perfectly cooked and the presentation was terrific. We ate on the outdoor porch, but there was also a tent available with about 10 tables +/-. There is parking immediately adjacent to the restaurant. Covid protocols were strictly followed. Great experience!
We ordered cocktails that had been seating at the bar for nearly 20 minutes and were totally watered down when we finally got them, which was super annoying. I said something and instead of bringing me a new drink they just put more rum in it. Thankfully, the waiter waived our corkage fee. Overall, the service and food were pretty good, although I do not think we would make the trek from Campbell to go on a date night here again. The Quintet appetizer is a definite MUST get. The pita is so good!
It was ok. The music was too loud, the heaters were noisy and the food was ok. It was a decent meal but for the price, there are better options in town
The food was amazing! Don't miss the dips, especially the eggplant one with the complicated name. The Eggplant Parmagiana is to die for. Service was a little spotty, but they had a large group come in and in these pandemic times, I'm cutting restaurants a lot of slack in that regard. It's pretty pricy unless you stick to the small plates.
On open table I asked for indoor table and was put outside in a part of their makeshift dining patio that was not very nice. I asked to be moved and was accommodated. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I think they could do a better job in their outdoor tented area to make it nicer. Food was really good. Pricy though.
Sal is amazing. And we are good friends.
But more important, our guest were blown away!
My best to Sal and Odeum.
The food was very good, but a little pricey. The best part was our
server, Jerry. He was great. If you go, ask for one of his tables.
