Overall service food atmosphere was perfect I love this place every time I come I highly recommend it all the time to everybody. It’s a perfect place for meetings gathering with friends for small numbers. Looking forward to coming back soon. Thank you

Anniversary lunch on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The hostess initially seated us inside, near the door, even though we had a reservation and there appeared to be tables open upstairs. After asking, we were moved to an upstairs table with a beautiful ocean view. We ordered the Korean cauliflower, flat iron steak, and a sushi roll. All were delicious, nicely prepared, and graciously presented by our server, Amanda. Overall, we were very happy with both the food and ambience.

The views are great from the rooftop. The Sushi perhaps the worst we have ever had! Staff was friendly.

The sushi is very solid and some of the specials - but overall nothing very special regarding the food. The celebrated chicken wings had a thick batter coating and not as light and tasty as we would have hoped. We liked the cauliflower and the sushi was good. But since it has been so highly rated we were disappointed.

Some of the most creative and sensationally flavorsome sushi I've ever had, artfully prepared and presented. Located on Cabrillo just across the street from the Santa Barbara coast, it is a lovely and stylish restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. Great, knowledgeable service and a thoughtful, pleasing music list made for a very special experience.

Great, fresh, and delicious food - Service was also outstanding. Our waiter (Javier) was very attentive to all of our requests. Great Job !!!

Sushi was good. Menu is limited, they are still on CoVid menu. Rolls were not extremely large for its price. We’ve had sushi at a lot of places throughout California and I would say not amazing but not horrible so good.

It was such a wonderful restaurant with wonderful food!

We had reservations for over 2 weeks, yet were set outside in an overflow parking lot. That was the only disappointment.

The waiter was very rude and preoccupied. The food was okay. The best thing was the cauliflower and that doesn’t make sense for a sushi restaurant. I wouldn’t waste my time and money there again.

We chose OKU to celebrate a little extra on our honeymoon and man did they deliver. Free champagne for us honeymooners and very friendly staff. We felt very spoiled with amazing food, drinks, balcony view of the pier and a fireplace to top it off! Thanks OKU for making our honeymoon extra special!

Santa Barbara is very relaxed compared to Torrance where we traveled from. - they need to show a little more safety to their guests.

I feel like Oku is pretty overhyped and overpriced. You can get much cheaper and better quality sushi in Santa Barbara. I was felt let down because everyone has been talking about how great it is.

Food and service were very good, but my husband and I were disappointed that we had made reservations specifically noting that it was our anniversary...and they didn’t acknowledge that at all. We were even more disappointed when we walked upstairs and saw that there were plenty of open tables on the rooftop (plenty even for COVID spacing) where we would have been able to see the sunset! I had specifically made reservations at that time for that reason, but dessert came and went without a mention of our celebration (our server was very sweet and attentive, esp with me being pregnant...so I am pretty certain that she wasn’t made aware that it was our anniversary). Won’t make this mistake again.

First time eating out for a nice/special occasion (my birthday dinner) and it was the perfect place to have an intimate, beautiful celebration with a small group of friends. Love the outdoor/rooftop area & fire pits :)
