We offer a fresh perspective on the classic neighbourhood eatery, throwing back to a simpler, more wholesome time when eating out was fun, approachable and most importantly, accessible.     Additionally, yesterday 'Sunday, August 07th,' was an extremely hot day and the area we sat in either had the door open or ventilation was not working. It was way too hot inside.

    Portions were generous - the stack of blueberry pancakes were picture worthy. The other items (granola and salad) we had were not anything particularly special - taste is something easily created in you own kitchen. Coffee okay. Service friendly, but a bit slow. Not as clean as I appreciate (jam on table, bottle in flower pot, bathrooms gross with flies). I like the neon fun signs and the patio is generous in size. To be honest, I thought it would be better.

    Service was great and the outdoor patio was nice. Had the date night special and was disappointed with the quality of the meal and the presentation. Also ordered the Caesar salad which was overdressed. The chicken and waffle was just that. No colour in the plate. So many easy options to improve the offering. Oh well.

    The fries were old and dried out. There were flies and bugs everywhere. So so humid inside and just such slow service. We waited so long for food and our bill.

    Great food! Friendly service and a new dinner menu! We missed the new menu but had the blueberry pancakes and Big Mac. It was perfect. Their happy hour choices were great too!

    I got the blueberry parfait and it was so fresh and delicious! The yoghurt was super silky and the granola and berries were crunchy and tart! So so good!

    I’ve been coming for years and it never disappoints. Our waitress was so nice and extremely helpful. Made my birthday breakfast peaceful and all the food tasted amazing.

    This was my second time dining here and I wasn’t disappointed. Outdoor patio was cute (covered and had little lights). The server was super friendly and the food was good. Everything on the menu sounded so good—will be coming back to try more. We ordered The Whole Shebang and for $25 it was a plate of different appetizers that is a great size to share between two people (we were feeling peckish and weren’t hungry enough for entrees). Recommend this spot!

    I have no idea where they got all the good reviews on Google. - My kid sized chicken burger was so dry, I had to tear the meat off. They didn't tell me it's $3 to sub fries with salad, my baby burger turn out to be $25. - friend's Benny was way overcooked, egg yolk was rock solid - anther friend's breakfast dish had overcooked (burned dry crispy) home fries, stale scone with a weird bitter aftertaste They ended up giving us a big discount, but I still won't go back again

    Service was really off putting so we left. We had an outdoor reservation and they couldn’t accommodate us, told us we didn’t request it.. who knows!

    Amazing! This is my second time here and it was even better than the last. Server was amazing, food took awhile but that’s ok considering it came out tasting so fresh. Will definitely be coming back for a third time

    I know my grades are harsh but we expected much better... I had the perfect yogurt with Greek yogurt and granola but where was the granola...it was barely there... Then the basket of 4 pastries of the day dry as stone ... not fresh at all of the day .... very unfortunate
