Old Town Pour House

Stopped in for a light meal & a beer. Service was great & food was good. Tables amply spaced. Loads of giant screen TVs. Great place to drink, dine & watch sports. Very Covid safe!

We love this place! Always good beer selection, and awesome food. So sad that is was so empty.

I was very satisfied with the service. Food is amazing drinks are reasonably priced. The manager is noticeably active in the restaurant. I will be visiting again especially on Football Sundays #BearDown

Came for the Bears game. Great wings, lots of TVs with all the NFL games on, cool vibe, slowish table service but we weren’t in a hurry so it was fine

The food was just really really not good and I was super disappointed. Felt like it was microwaved cafeteria food served on a nice plate. Will not be back for dinner.

Location, food and service were great but it was just too loud. We had a 5:45 dinner reservation and the music was at the level it should be in a club. We had to shout in order to have a conversation.

Great experience. Food was great. Just disappointed our waiter forgot the birthday desserts we ordered at the start of the meal. Disappointing for our guest who was celebrating a bday but we could not wait longer as we were heading to an event. Noisy - some of our group commented on this - but expected in my opinion.

Nice experience, food, and service. My wife and I were in town for a few days and we’re going to a comedy show nearby and we’re recommended to Old Town Pour House by Zanie’s.

Lunch time - too loud for a business meeting I would expect loud music during the evening hours, will choose a different location next time.

The overall ambiance of the restaurant was very fun and upbeat. The food was average, fine for the price. Would recommend to go back again for a good selection of beers and to watch a game, not so much for the food.

Some good food options for Old Town if you're wanting to grab a bite before hitting the town -- the filet mignon sliders were awesome. Service was a bit slower, but that's to be expected for a Saturday night.

We stopped here before attending a show at Second City (Grinning from Fear to Fear: that was 5 stars, by the way). It was basically a high-scale sports bar. Food and service was very good.

Found the Old Pour House via reviews and the food, service, and ambiance did not disappoint! I enjoyed it enough to head there again for a second time the same week... and the experience was equally enjoyable and the food as good.

The food was excellent but, the noise level was unbearable. The volume was too loud and the base vibes gave me bad sensation on my ear drums. We had hoped to have a conversation with our friends but that was impossible. Just a shouting event. We left ASAP for another place to relax over cocktails. Not returning, or going to any of the Bottleneck businesses. You should rethink the noise levels.

Enjoyed the service and ambiance. I’m not a beer drinker but my buddy liked what he chose and the selections. They had a good wine list too. We only had an appetizer, chicken wings, which were very tasty.

1/2 price apps at happy hour are great and appreciate the simplicity of $2 off any drink during happy hour. Food is always delicious.

Great to grab some food and a couple beers during the NCAA games. Always happy with the food and despite it being busy the server (Chad) was in a great mood and did his best to accommodate despite the crowd and ultimate wait on our order. Glad I made reservations because it fills up quickly! We’ll be back!

We had a very good experience at this classic Chicago restaurant. We were in hurry to get to Second City for a performance and they were very accommodating.

Service was terrible. Noise level very high even though there were very few people there. I had the fish tacos and my daughter had the fish and chips. Both of us think the fish had turned. Neither felt well that night. Drinks were all ice and very little of anything else. Very poor value for the menu

Amazing bar. The service is awesome. My spouse had some difficulty’s with his order,the staff addressed it quickly and professionally.

Service was okay, water always got refilled but seemed to take a little long for our food. More than 30 min for a wrap and salad. Food is definitely overpriced for how much (or little) you get

Service was unusually slow, which is sad considering we were one of only three tables occupied over the lunch hour. Food came out lukewarm, and had clearly been sitting for a while given the cheese on my flatbread pizza had cooled and solidified. OTPH is a great venue, in an unbeatable neighborhood location. Unfortunately there's a reason why tables are always readily available.

I’d highly recommend this place if you’re trying to grab beer and apps and watch a game. Great beer selection and the pretzels were pretty good. Dinner here is however very mediocre.

Went in with high hopes - didn't meet. Liked the spacious atmosphere of a nice old town bar, but even with our reso our party of 6 was seated in the cramped back by wait staff. Server was uninformed and not helpful. Sharables were yummy; entrées meh; cocktails decent; LOL to 90 beers on tap - first 4 ordered were out w no recommendation on next up.

Solid 3 choice again for restaurant decor, atmosphere - would go back for happy hour but not for dinner - wait staff really needs to improve as guests are really not cared for. Music was early 2000 jams, didn't match vibe.

Love that you can make your own flight from a list of MANY beers. The filet mignon sliders were absolutely fantastic.

Wonderful evening. Came at 7:30, nice and quite table for 7. We're all older than your regular clientele, but had great food and fun.

Pour house was the perfect spot for a meal right before my family and I attended Second City to see some improv. at 8:00 pm. We made a reservation on Open Table for 6:15 pm on a Saturday. We got there on time, the hostess asked about our seating preference, and we were escorted to one of the booths along the wall. There were food choices for everyone and the place was lively without being obnoxious. The server was friendly, polite and attentive without being overbearing. The place is modern, upscale without being stuffy, architecturally interesting, with a lot of beautiful wood paneling. There are televisions on the wall however they do not detract from the modern upscale feel of the restaurant. The restaurant feels comfortable and inviting and attracts an energetic, polite and attractive crowd. My parents who were from out of town appreciated the choice and commented on how great the place was. It was an overall positive experience and we would definitely go to Pour House again and would definitely recommend it!!

Great location. Good food. Extensive beer list. Good for a bite before a show, a meet up with friends/co-workers, a casual date, etc. Not too pricey and not overly busy on most nights...

Way to expensive .... we only had a flight each and ended up with a 55$ bill!
