Ole Red Gatlinburg
It was great. The fries I ordered were over seasoned with seasoning salt. However I am not a salt person to begin with. I loved the She shed drink and the music was awesome.
The seating for most is pretty good. Some areas lack view on top floor to tye stage. Food we all had was pretty good. It was fresh and hot. Service we recieved tonight was excellent. Only is issue i was to recieve a text after checking in that our table was ready. Never recieved the text even after the did confirm the number at check in. So be sure to check as your time nears at the check in desk.
Music only. Food terrible. Nachos especially bad.
My cousin and I took a Girls Weekend in Gatlinburg and decided Ole Red was a MUST DO! We had 6:30 pm reservations and got in within 10 min, even though they were packed. Our waitress was lovely aside from never bringing our requested butter for our biscuits(if you’re serving biscuits, butter should not be “by request”). However, the food was mediocre, at best. I ordered the Nashville Hot Champagne of Chicken(1/2) and my cousin ordered the meatloaf. The chicken was OK. Not terrible. Not great. Just OK. No veggies included unless you count plain, dry biscuits and a small cup of white gravy as vegetables. Not hot at all. I could see the spice but it didn’t taste hot. My cousin ordered the meatloaf and, well, a TV dinner had better texture and taste. It just was yucky. The entertainment was JD Shelburne. Very nice voice but, lord have mercy, the constant reminders to tip tip TIP TIPTIPTIP got so old so fast and was beyond annoying. We were highly disappointed, as this was our expected highlight meal, and we will not be back.
Our best friends got engaged on a weekend getaway to Gatlinburg
The atmosphere and entertainment were wonderful. The food was pricey and mediocre.
Over priced. Charged for butter for our biscuits
Live music was good
Food wasn’t hot and not very good. Drinks were watered down. Service was just ok.
They need a new chef. Bacon and pickle Deviled eggs were a strange color and very unappetizing visually. Food Portions way too large. Meatloaf was recommended as one of the best things on the menu. Meat was tough and did not resemble meatloaf. Hamburger was overdone and not very warm.
Music was good but would not eat there again
Love Blake but the menu could use improvement. Chicken and biscuit was dry.
When we go out for dinner we look for 4 reason to return, Food (including variety), price, service and atmosphere. Well Ole Red got one right
Great live music
Super slow service. Our server even told us they were slow because they didn’t have enough servers.
We had reservations (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) as those who didn’t had 2 hour waits with so many tables open.
Drinks are extremely expensive but the food is good.
Waitress did not allow us to customize order without onions. Told us it could not be done. Even though we have someone in our party allergic. Food was overpriced. Will not be back.
We had reservations so we were seated right away. Our server, Ashley, was very attentive and helpful. The food was good and served rapidly. The price was reasonable considering they had excellent live music.
We were not impressed with this ever so popular place (popular due to Blake Shelton’s name). The menu was very lacking and basic, along with being pricey. They had live music, which was fantastic. However, I wouldn’t waste my time here.
We arrived early, and there was no problem with getting in at that time. The food was good, and enjoyed the entertainment!!
We really enjoyed the food , drinks and service. . The atmosphere and music was great also.
Ol Red's Gatlinburg was absolutely amazing! Far exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was awesome with great music. The volume was perfect, easy to hold a conversation while listening to the artist during dinner. The food was some of the best we have ever had! This is not bar food, but amazing southern style cuisine. This is my new favorite place and can't wait to go back. Give it a try, you'll love it!
Waitress was wonderful, ambiance was fun, food was delicious and Zach Ray was outstanding. Great talent and loved his personality. We had a very good time and are very much looking forward to a return trip.
I surprised my husband with dinner reservations here. He loved the live music and the flavorful food choices. I loved the bbq pulled pork + cheddar mashed potatoes, and my husband was disappointed the hot chicken wasn’t “hot” but the taste was deliciohs. we, and our 3 kiddos, enjoyed the food. Will was our server and very tentative and good. The kids loved seeing our pictures on the oldredtv. Overall, really good dinner option and will go back again.
The service was on top of everything!! Food was overpriced. I got the bacon wrapped meatloaf. It was recommended by the waitress. It really wasn’t anything special at all. Husbands burger was medium rare, not medium. They did redo and took entire price of that meal off. That was a nice gesture we weren’t expecting. The entertainment was great.
Service was good, great music, food was poor quality.
Everything was amazing from the moment we walked in. Great atmosphere and service! Drinks were incredible and food was perfect too!
Awesome place...team blake... good food..nice service ...clean friendly atmosphere....would go again and recommend to anyone
Made reservations months in advance for a high top for 4 on a Monday night at 7. Still had to wait while they seated others ahead of us that just walked in. We’re not seated at a high top. When asked to be seated at one the hostess gave it to someone else who just walked in. Took a long time for the waiter. Ended up not staying. Poor poor service. Do NOT recommend. Very disappointed. Expected much better than that
We had drinks at the Nashville Ole Red two nights earlier and decided to try dinner at this one. The food was delicious and the music was great. We got our food but didn’t have silverware or napkins, even though we had drinks on the table for a while before we ordered. My wife had the catfish, but they forgot the cole slaw. I had the grilled meatloaf and it was great.
Great food at reasonable prices. The skillet corn bread was yummy. Ashley, our server, was outstanding!
Great atmosphere-good music but menu is somewhat limited and food quality was not great
Food is good but VERY PRICEY. Customers were being told 1 hour wait yet the upper level was not being used. We had reservations and we saw 20 to 30 potential customers walk away due to 1 hour wait. We visit Gatlinburg on a regular basis but probably won’t be back to Ole Red as there are plenty of other places to eat.
Had reservations had asked for a table in front of the stage weeks prior to our going there.Lady at the door obviously didn't want to be there or care about where we sat ended up in the corner next to the service area.View was mediocre at best. Was excited to be going there I have a close friend who plays there and had told me how great it was.
Well in our case not so much. Hopefully others will have a better time.
Great food and service...I would recommend you get a reservation...walk in off street 1 1/2hr wait...but it would be worth it...went away stuffed
Loved the atmosphere and we bought some souvenirs as well. Will certainly be back. Nachos are Delicious....
Ashley (server was very good). Bartender was rude, food was average. We’re out of the wine we wanted. Half the restaurant tables weren’t being used and people were waiting to be seated. Poor experience,
A little pricey. We got right in but our server had multiple tables to wait. Overall it was a good experience.
Good food, great service, outstanding music. Missing Blake Shelton unannounced visit would have been the Wow factor.
Fun experience. Loved the guest entertainer that night.
We went to Ole Red because we were visiting Gatlinburg and we saw there was going to be live music. We had a nice meal and listened to Zack Ray. Our waitress was very attentive. The pulled pork was delicious, we especially liked the barbecue sauce. I wish there had been more chicken in the chicken pot pie. There was enough of our funnel cake dessert to feed a crowd!
This is the one spot I was looking forward to visiting during my stay in Gatlinburg and I was disappointed. I carefully chose the day and time to join you for lunch due to the musician. I understand you cannot control if an artist backs out last minute but the guy replacing him was not good and it made the experience bad. It was better when he was on break and I could listen to real country music.
When I asked the server she just said other guy cancelled but never apologized or recognized my disappointment. I know it’s not her fault but to provide great customer service you recognize a customers dissatisfaction and try to make the experience good for them.
Lastly, I ordered a beer and it took a while to get to the table.
Based on this experience I will not recommend which does upset me because I’m a fan of Blake Shelton and think the restaurant live music concept is amazing.
The food was good 👍 The service was great and I loved walking around looking at all the things on the walls.
Had an enjoyable time, good food, wait staff was prompt and friendly and entertainment was excellent. We will differently put this on our to do list next time we are in Gatlinburg.
