Olive & Citrus

Staff is well trained and very pleasant. Lunch buddy and I both agreed our server was genuinely friendly and we would hire if she was looking. Food tasty (Mushroom flat bread and Tuna melt) and not the typical fare. Really enjoy the management, team, venue and the food.
Great dining experience. This place is definitely a destination for all food lovers. The service and ambience were top notch. Making plans for friends to join us for dinner soon.
Overall ok bunch was mundane.
Loved the food and service was great
Bartender was awesome! Very knowledgeable about the history of the building. Service was wonderful and unobtrusive. Food was wonderful. Dessert selection was slim so we opted for coffee. Unfortunately the only disappointing part of our meal was the coffee- tasted like a very weak grocery store brand. That aside, it was wonderful and look forward to returning.
The experience was nice. The only problem we had was the price of the food and what you get out of it. Most played are almost $20 and the portions are on the smaller side.
Excellent! We were not expecting live music! Food was delicious and service made Valentine dining date with husband memorable! Thank you:)
Food was fantastic. Service a bit slow but it was a busy night.
Valentines dinner was delightful. Live music, beautiful ambience, culinary delights. Highly recommended.
My husband and I went on Valentines Day.... what a mistake! We were never told about the limited menu for the evening. Disappointed facing the wall on the patio, sevice was poor and the salmon was not cooked along with the semi cooked asparagus. Mentioned our dissatisfaction to the waiters who could only apologize in a insincere attitude... not sure if I’ll be returning...:(
I was sad with this restarting. I had seen it many times and wanted to try it. Knowing it was an upscale place we decided to go for Valentine’s Day. Well, there was a set menu with three entrees to choose from. I would have liked it to be published before I went because honestly I wouldNt have eaten there based on the menu alone.
We had reservations at 6 and they were already sold out of several beers.
About thirty minutes after we got there we got like warm bread that wouldn’t even met the cold butter that we were served.
The first course came after we’d been waiting for fifty minutes a beet salad with 4 beet cubes and the base yellow stalk of some type lettuce (that was so bitter it made me chug water) and some drops of goat cheese.
Then the soup came at about the hour and a half mark mark. I would like to also add that several people who had gotten there after us were already on their entree.
We got our entree at about the two hour mark. Kind of upsetting because we had show reservations.
The entree was mediocre at best not hot Luke warm. Then before we even finished our dessert came.
It was a cluster to say the least. I was so surprised that a pre landed menu took so long and was so mediocre. Costing us $200. It didn’t make sense and it was really sad because it’s a beautiful location and place.
Wait to be greeted at table was excessively long (20min) but wait for food to come out was normal since we asked for recommended quick things. Most of what we ordered was vegan/vegetarian and though we loved our salads, the pasta dish was ordinary and the prices of everything was overall steep. The wood fired toast was oily and thick and cylindrical. Not ideal for toast. Otherwise love the location, the name, and the decor. Will definitely come back but the prices will limit us as to how frequently.
One of the best restaurants in Redlands. Great food great service. If they’re crowded, don’t expect your food to come too quickly but it’s worth the wait.
Excellent service all around and beautifully prepared flavorful food. We choose to sit on the patio even though it was very cold outside but we didn't even notice the cold because of the heaters above keeping us very comfortable. Will definitely be coming back
The restaurant is very pretty; the food and service are very good. It is always a very pleasant place to break bread with friends.
I took my family here for a nice end of week dinner to reconnect and have some slow meaningful conversation over good food. We had such a lovely evening. Everyone enjoyed their food so much - from seafood to steak to farm fresh produce, everything was delectable.
Delicious, fresh (vegan/veg) flavors and friendly, attentive service made our lunch a real treat!
This was a very nice place to celebrate our 56th wedding anniversary! Food was delicious!
Too expensive for such a place, specially lunch time. menu options not many
we're regulars and like our meals, always. But $26 for wagyu hamburger and some sliced potatoes is just over the top. the value/reward equation is out of whack. we avoid the dinners and usually stick with the fabulous pasta options. the food is generally terrific.
So lovely! Will be back! 💕💕❤️
We met friends here for dinner and loved everything about it. We visited the bar area first, while we waited for their arrival, and the host and bartender could not have been nicer or more helpful in choosing the best drinks. The restaurant itself is very pretty inside and out. We all shared a margherita pizza appetizer (very good), followed by great dinners - from the hangar steak, to mussels and clams with chorizo. The chocolate bread pudding with salted caramel was the favorite dessert overall (better than the butterscotch budino, even though that was good). They do not have a parking lot, but there is plenty of free street parking all around the neighborhood. Definitely a nice place to go for dinner (be advised it is a more expensive restaurant - not casual dining, but not super fancy either).
18$ for a omelette should knock my socks off! Nope could make better at home! Side of bacon 3 pieces 4$ burnt! Bloody Mary 10$ comes with one olive that’s it, and a bunch of salt on rim! Service and atmosphere is great though. C’mon kitchen get it together!! This is why I would rather stay home and cook these days! So, much better than going out and paying inflated prices for an ok Culinary experience! Gordon come and save them!
Food is excellent, service attentive - it’s becoming my go-to special occasion place...tho I also went there last week for casual lunch with a friend and that was great too!
Been here many times. Slowest service ever tonight. 😔
Brought my fiancée over for her birthday. The ambiance and overall vibe of the place is fantastic; it’s perfect for a romantic setting. The food was very good (she got the wine braised short ribs and I got the wagyu burger). The cocktails we ordered were presented well. Overall, great experience!
Thought that the prices were high for the portions you received and our add on vegetable arrived after we had finished our meal. We brought it home but should have arrived on time.
The restaurant staff where excellent and so was the manager. The food was delicious and the presentation splendid. Quality and experience like you would expect at a high-end restaurant in a larger city. What a gem!
We had a wonderful family dinner, with our adult children shortly after the new year. We were at the early side of dinner hour as we had travel plans. The restaurant was just opening for dinner and two parties were already seated. The environment was great - nicely decorated and a nice vibe. We had a variety of items, sashimi appetizer, steak and vegetarian entrees, nice wine and a variety of desserts. Looking forward to a return visit.
Inexperienced waiter resulted us not getting our food
We had a great evening. Food was excellent but time between appetizers and entree was 45 minutes. The bar was out of Pilsner. Service was standard for California. We have spoiled the East coast, Europe, and Asia. Redlands really need a place like Olive and Citrus.
O & C has been my favorite new restaurant but we were so disappointed this time. They present themselves as classy expensive dining and I’m glad to pay and tip well for it, but this was far from a good experience. First, they were understaffed. Our server was friendly, informed, and efficient but he was spread thin so he couldn’t return as needed. Not his fault. The food runners didn’t make up for it. One brought our cheese board but couldn’t tell us what the cheeses were. The board was unnecessarily HUGE. It took up so much of the table there wasn’t room for the other appetizers. So when after a very short bit of time a runner brought my soup, there was no room. I told him there’s no room and asked him to hold off on it. He reacted so rudely, stating, “I can take it back to the kitchen to hold but it will be cold when I bring it back.” SERIOUSLY?! This dinner for 4 cost $400 before tip and he’s going to serve cold soup because they can’t course out a meal or see there’s no room on a table?! I politely asked him to take it back. Several minutes later he came back and loudly and impatiently said, “The kitchen is keeping your soup warm for you. Are you ready for it now?” He treated me like a nuisance and I was embarrassed and felt forced to say yes. He still couldn’t see there wasn’t room on the table and didn’t try to fix it. We combined all the plates ourselves and had another runner take them to make room. Sure enough he brought cold soup. We were pretty angry. We waited for our server and luckily he promptly replaced it with a fresh hot bowl. Then we waited a long time for our entrees and no one came to offer another drink order. Three of us ordered 12 oz wagyu hangar steaks. Mine was 2/3 the size of the others and was tough and sinewy. My husband and mom loved theirs. For dessert my bread pudding was also served cold but I wasn’t sending anything back or complaining because of how I was treated over the soup. Really appalling service and quality for the price.
I wonder why they asked when I made the reservation if this was a special occasion then nothing was ever mentioned to our guest whose birthday we were celebrating. Our guests/family members were visiting from Las Vegas. We raved to them about the awesome food, drinks, and service only to be very disappointed in all three. Portions were unusually small, food was not hot, and we had to remind our server twice about various things. The noise level (due to the music) made it impossible to chat. We dine here often, but lately the quality of experience is slipping. This latest experience was confirmation.
Beautiful ambiance but the service and quality of food do not match the price tag. Have eaten here three times and have found the service to be disappointing each time.
Food was amazing, my Ora Salmon was moist and tasty... the server was the nicest of them all and friendly. Definitely coming back!
Great brunch food and excellent service.
My chicken was overcooked which I would not expect at a restaurant of this caliber. They also would not accommodate my husband's request for poached eggs instead of over easy despite the fact that they offer Eggs Benedict as a menu choice. The server said that he was instructed to discourage changes to the menu. Not impressed.
Always wonderful! Atte
The food was excellent; however the size of the portion was a bit small in relation to the price.
