Oli.Vine - The Mediterranean Project
Definitely a couples place to take out your significant other. Great service, book in advance as this place gets packed after 6PM
Amazing service, food was perfect.
Highly recommend !
Layout is not convenient. Ended up seating at a table in front of the reception area where a corridor should (theoretically) be. Small place with open kitchen does not pair well (aka strong smell). Food is okay.
Excellent service and delicious food. Wonderful staff and amazing chef. Glad Oli Vine is in my neighborhood!
By far the best brunch experience I have had ever! The staff was extremely attentive and super nice. The food was AMAZING and the mimosas were in fact BOTTOMLESS. I got the nutella banana pancakes and they were SO good. The chef even came over to our table personally and made sure everything was going perfectly. We were not rushed to leave at all which is great considering most other brunch places make you leave the second your "time is up." I was so happy with my experience that I'm going again this weekend with a different group of friends. I have already told my family and friends about it - I 100% recommend!
Ordered 3 things to share. Asked for 1 at a time. All came out same time. Moussaka all cheese no seafood. Small portions .....
Delicious food reasonably priced. They could have used more wait staff but it was New Tears Eve so that was expected. The chef is on point and id say the food is way better prepared and tastier than Ninos AQ.
Excellent food and service.
Loved it! Can’t wait to return.
LOVE the food - the flavors work fabulously together! The chef is super friendly too!
The staff is tentative and gave great recommendations. The food was amazing from apps through dessert. Starting to become one of my go to places in Astoria!
Consistently delicious food. We've been with larger groups and small and we are always happy. I like their wine list a lot as well. It's beautiful inside and they have a lovely patio for outdoor dining. Gorgeous space and delicious food. Will be back again!
This was some of the best food I have had in my life, not just Greek food, but any food. The place is quaint, and never felt too busy. The waiting staff was doting while still not being overbearing, and the chef personally asked us how we liked our meal. I will definitely be going back there.
Excellent food. Gets down to basics. Fish was grilled perfectly with olive oil and seasoning. Solid side dishes (brussel sprouts and fries). Seating is a little tight, but nothing different than most NYC restaurants. Strong recommend.
I came here without knowing what’s really going on. I was welcomed from the front door with a smile. I order a lot of food because I wanted to try a lot of stuff. Food was amazing but service was even better. I would definitely recommend this place. Definitely you will see more of me. Thank you for your hospitality.
Excellent dining experience. The food was delicious and the staff is pleasant. A hidden gem in the heart of Astoria.
I was really excited to try Oli.Vine after looking at the menu and peering inside, so went there with my roommates last night and we agreed that we rated it a 4/10. The dessert was the best part of our meal, but everything else I felt I could've had elsewhere or made better myself. Our server also seemed very uninterested in serving us. The restaurant is cute, but tables are close to each other and it's pretty loud for a such a small space. The worst part of this - our bill was $170 for 3 of us, without any drinks. I was shocked at the price, and even more appalled at the quality of the food with that much of a markup on the items. Never visiting here again.
Went for a birthday dinner. Waiters were very nice and accommodating. We were seated at a bigger table all the way in the back right by the kitchen and the bathrooms which wasn't very appealing, but at least it was quieter. The food was amazing, nothing we ordered was disappointing. Wine and desserts were overpriced. Overall positive experience but not perfect.
Love everything about this place. Simple yet elegant, with the right volume of music so we don’t scream to hear each other talk. The staff is excellent and very professional in a kind way, not pushy at all .
The food is delicious ! The chief definitely knows how to do a magic in his kitchen. Very modest guy with pleasant personality . Thank you!
We ordered three appetizers: the spicy feta dip (Htipiti), the shrimp grape leaves maki roll, and the grilled calamari. These were all ok but WAY too salty. Even the complimentary bread had a lot of salt on it! Additionally, the maki roll comes with head on shrimp which you have to deconstruct the roll for. On the bright side, the flavors were spot on.
We ordered the special of the day, shrimp saganaki, as our entree and this was AMAZING. Definitely saved the meal since this was perfectly seasoned and had a lot of shrimp to go with it! Would definitely order this again
My friends and I celebrated our friend’s birthday at Oli-Vine, and enjoyed the excellent Mediterranean seafood and the innovative appetizers reflecting the chef’s emphasis on high quality produce and intensely flavorful and innovative creations.
The light-filled spaces and the charming and helpful waiter, George, made us feel welcome as he brought us a basket of toasted olive bread and answered our questions about the diverse appetizers.
We began with the flavorful green salad with feta and dill, which was studded with tiny red teardrops of spicy-sweet peppers. The Shrimp Saganaki with Ouzo flavored tomato sauce and feta was luscious and large enough to feed four people. The addictive tomato keftedes were perfection, even better than any those that I have tasted in Santorini. The Pita Sfakiani was a delightful contrast in flavors filled with Gorgonzola and Feta with a coating of Greek honey. The grand finale was the Bergamot Orange Pie, which was filled with the aromatic essence of citrus and orange.
We will certainly return again to taste more of the chef’s enticing creations!!! Thank you, Chef Nicholas Poulmentis, for making our evening celebration such a special event. 🎉
Great neighborhood restaurant. A bit more formal and mature in terms of ambiance and quality. Good for dinner with parents or a quiet date. Dinner for two with wine $120 excluding gratuity. Open kitchen, friendly and attentive staff
Great inventive food, met the chef, very hospitable and engaging. Inventive modern Greek food with all the traditional ingredients.
Great food and Wonderful service. Looking forward to coming back. Loved the beet salad! Highly recommend it.
This is an amazing place for Brunch with bottomless mimosas included with your entree. The outside seating, on a nice cool breezy day, is so relaxing that I did not want to leave. I have also been here for dinner and although the food is amazing it is a little expensive. The chef is the greatest!!
Excellent all around. Ambiance, food, service, value, music. And they do not rush you.
I’ve been to plenty of Mediterranean restaurants, but this one takes exceeds the amount of shrimp any menu can have. Unfortunately I’m allergic and thought they can accommodate me I was shocked at how many dishes had shrimp. I wish I could eat it but was I did eat was yummy. The oil used for dripping is to die for! My pasta dish - AMAZING. I look forward to going back and trying some calamari or octopus
