Feedme menu was perfect.
The dumplings could have been a little hotter. The timing of the service and dish arrival was a little out of sync.
Main beef dish with greens and the dessert topped off a good experience.
I thought Tea charge per person is outrageous. $48 pp plus tea plus mineral water meant it was just under $60 per person

I have eaten at the restaurant a few times services always been good food excellent can highly recommend

Overall not too bad. But could be better as I have been a customer since 2014.
Food is good, but too pricey, eg $11 for 3 small dumplings, $19 for a plate of House Tofu. We liked the male waiter, friendly and helpful, but others weren't too attentive, had to wait a little while for response.

I would have giving 5 stars but I would be lying if i said it was a relaxing experience. We were given a 1.5 hour
Seating slot only to be rushed throughout the entire meal and told it was last call 50 minutes into the meal. My partner ordered a beer when there was about 35 minutes left of our booking and we were informed that they don’t usually do that as it’s last call but they will make an exception. I appreciate that it’s been a trying time with covid restrictions and that restaurants are trying to make their money back but I would expect a little more courtesy a heads up that it’s actually a 1 hour booking. I also don’t appreciate having someone jam a credit card reader in front of our faces before we’ve had a chance to look at the bill. I don’t know if I’ll be rushing back next time which is a shame - since this was one of my favorite restaurants - pre COVID. Mot sure what the solution is but it can’t be this.

The staff were so lovely and so attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and everything came out so quickly. All dishes exceeded our expectations. This is definitely one of our favourite restaurants which is why we will keep coming back!

Chose the feasting menu and was extremely impressed with the quality of the food. Waitress was very friendly and accommodating, however we found the food logistics to be confusing and illogical - Peking Duck arrived first, quickly followed by an array of dumplings. Chinese Broccoli arrived solo next followed by the steak (which was beautiful) and then finally the fried rice - all of which was high quality. Staff were extremely friendly and atmosphere was great - highly recommend as not too formal but certainly not too casual. Will certainly be going back!

Exceptional service and quality food as always. We ordered the shredded steak, satay peanut chicken dumpling, soft shell crab sliders, chicken san choi bao and salt pepper calamari. The soft shell crab and shredded steak were the highlight. Would of been nice if the calamari came with a dipping sauce and lemon wedge to counter the saltiness but nonetheless was an enjoyable meal.

Always enjoy coming here to eat. Especially after months of lockdown! Food is always great quality with really good flavours. Probably a bit on the pricier side for yum cha style, but the service and venue definitely make it worthwhile.

Open reservation was for a special occasion. We noted this on our booking but it was not mentioned throughout our dining experience.

Okay food but expected better. Expensive for what’s on offer. Some good service but some really disappointing service as well. Not recommended and I won’t be back

It was fine. Prawn dumpling with ginger and Football dumpling were our favorite. Bbq pork bun was well made but not a standout. Friendly service.

Outrageously expensive and unauthentic yum Cha experience. Service was nice but $11 for standard prawn dumplings and $17 for 3 Peking duck wraps is crazy.

Our group was overcharged twice (first by $80) on the unlimited feasting menu - however when queried about the double counted items, was told that this was an issue with the billing system that was raised before by staff to management, but was ignored and not remediated. Staff also mentioned offhand having to reprocess bills for customers on multiple occasions before and knew how to fix this instance. We understand things can go wrong in billing, however it is not pleasant to hear that the error was well known and would have gone unmentioned if the customer does not not closely inspect the bill.

I have always loved Oriental Tea House but it seems to have gone down hill a little since precovid. There was one staff member that was extremely helpful and lovely but the other staff seemed like it was a huge chore to be there. The food was nice but I do feel that it is extremely overpriced. You're happy to pay the extra for the experience but this time it just lacked that. There are so many good Chinese/dumpling places around these days, I think I'll save my pennies and go to one of those next time. Oriental Tea House definitely should bring back the all you can eat and drink events. I would definitely be back for that!

Food was great but I was annoyed I was never told that it was a set menu $50 per person for groups of 10. Apparently I was meant to have been told on the phone but I wasn’t and when we got there it was poorly explained and we all were confused

Great, extensive menu with plenty of choices and dim sum that I haven't seen anywhere else. Loved the Peking duck dim sum! Friendly and helpful staff. Adherence to Covid safe measures was spot on.
