Check your final bill carefully! Our itemized bill came back around $125. They brought back a credit card receipt for us to sign that was $159. When I pointed this out to the waiter, he went off and explained that after he brought us our itemized bill, somehow two additional glasses of wine were added to our tab. Although we appreciate the explanation, I don't think we really received an apology--there was no surprise, remorse, or anything that suggested that the restaurant wanted to make amends for the "mistake." (I had supposed that the restaurant would normally lock out the tab once they print the itemized bill and bring it to the table--but that's clearly NOT the case here.) Otherwise, the restaurant is in a great spot, it's beautifully decorated, and the service was fine (until they brought the check). I love when Italian pasta shines and is complimented by the sauce. But here, the pasta sauces overwhelmed the pasta. It was passable--not disturbing in any way, but surely also not memorable. But--really, I am still flumoxed by the bill "mishap"--was it an honest mistake or a scam? I wish that I had confidence that it was just a mistake. But the way that the restaurant responded didn't suggest that they cared.

We had not been in a while and came for Valentines Day. Oh my gosh it was wonderful! Fixed price, 4-course meal and it was smazing! Lobster ravioli was perhaps the best we have had. Lobster bisque and halibut were also terrific. We pledged to not let as much time to go by before we return.

Met my college aged daughter there for a “daddy/daughter dinner”. I couldn’t have been happier. The bar staff was great and our waitress gave us exceptional service even though we weren’t in a hurry to order. Great place with excellent menu and food choices. Also has an amazing location.

Most amazing Italian I’ve had since I moved to DC. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and informative. He took the time to go through all gluten free options with me (I have celiac). Incredible experience overall!

We had a leisurely 3hr Saturday brunch with friends at Osteria Morini. The food and service was amazing, as always. We were left alone to enjoy our catch up without interruption, but our server was always on hand when we needed something. This restaurant remains a favorite for our group.

Excellent service and great location. I like the handmade pastas on the menu with all of the interesting combinations. Solid food however, there were some missed opportunities. I wanted a little more showing off by the chef and a more delicious wine selection.

Food was great - my husband normally is not a big fan of Italian but he loved it too! Service was flawless. Ambience was good but little too noisy, would’ve been nice if we could hear some background music. Want to try brunch sometime soon.
