It was amazing! I haven’t stopped bragging about it. The food is absolutely incredible and the service is so good as well. It was really lovely. Can’t wait to come back
Me and the other guests had a lovely time at Osteria Romana. Fulvio was excellent and he made us enjoy our stay even more. Well done Fulvio! And forza Frosinone!
Booked outside was a joke .One very small metal table seen better days.Ate inside in cramped conditions with table so small(perhaps smallest restaurant table in London.) restaurant so cramped couldn’t accommodate tables any bigger.Poor experience.Never going back.Food just about ok.?Price outrageous.
The main waiter was extremely rude and unfriendly. The pasta was completely cold and when we complained he tried to argue that it should be. When we asked for the bill he scoffed at us and rolled his eyes. Overall a very unpleasant experience. There are definitely much better Italian alternatives for the same price in the area.
All perfect as usual, friendly but professional and perfect food
Very nice place to visit that feels quite unique which is a compliment for London. Food was fantastic and the wine was good too, if a little over priced. Would definitely recommend and will be returning if I find myself in Knightsbridge again.
Food was delicious and service was impeccable. We will definitely come back!
Great food and service, really enjoyed it!
Super nice waiters
One of the best Italian restaurants in London. Highly recommend
Another one very ordinary italian restaurant in London. Insipid food and spirit.
Good food, although not excellent. Very good service. Quality/Price ratio a bit poor.
We had a lovely lunch there. The pasta was amazing and the wine selection is very good.
Excellent service and very close to the tube
The restaurants is very cozy and specialize on Roman Traditional dishes.
Parmigiana was very good but the pasta for my taste was a bit overcooked and overloaded with the sauce.
On the overall we had a good experience, the staff was lovely but the restaurant is definitely too pricy for a lunch out.
Posto stupendo, servizio di alta qualità. Piatti eccellenti con un vero menu romano. Bella sorpresa.
Average food, lovely place...................:://:::
quiet and delightful ambiance - a gem in the heart of Knightsbridge. would happily visit again
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Very nice and quiet atmosphere. Tasty and good qiality food. Spaghetti, salad, starters, all very good!
However I did not enjoy the taste of the carbonara that much and this is why this was the only thing left on our plates. I did not personally likeditmuch, but the qualoty was good,it has nothing to do with the cooking or teh ingredients. I did not say anything to them; howeversincethey saw I did not actually have more than a coupleofbites, I would liked it if they had asked and maybe offered to bring me something else.
Best italian place in town. Cute environment and good selection of food.
Great service very attentive
Real Roman food
Super nice place! very safe, we didn't have any other customers near by.
Food was fantastic! and service spot on!
Portions were massive!
Very friendly staff, nice cosy setting and secluded from the busy street.
Delicious food and well presented with a nice selection of wines
I didn't find anything exceptional. It was pretty standard.
Was expecting something a bit more traditional. At least to have staff that spoke Italian being that it was an Italian restaurant
Great to have a meal out, at last! Lovely food and service. Agree with some others that pricing on wine list somewhat OTT.
Thank you so much for a lovely birthday celebration last Saturday! Excellent service, highly recommending and we will be back.
The food won’t let you down. It’s excellent! However, going out for dinner it’s not just about the food. Service was horrible. We booked for 20:45, but our table was only ready by 21:05, and there’s waiting area (and we weren’t offered a drink or anything as an apology). Once we get our table, I had to get up and ask the waiter for the wine list and menu, after 10 minutes waiting. The wine list has few but good options but extremely overpriced (like 3 to 4 times retail price). For the price you pay, there are certainly better places to go in London.
Delicious food, excellent service and a very nice atmosphere
Great food with wonderful atmosphere, can feel the authenticity of both the food and restaurant.
Food average - salty carbonara. Tiny lamb chops for £28
£20 cacio e pepe is criminal
Go to bancone instead.
Service was good.
Taste is not good at all
Ambience and atmosphere is nice but the food taste is not that hood at all
Great traditional Italian food
Having arrived on time for our booking we were left waiting 20 minutes, standing by the door. Three separate waiters informed us "two minutes" in the time we were waiting.
At the time of my booking I informed them I am lactose intolerant and when ordering off the menu I order something clearly marked non-dairy. My started arrived smothered in shavings of Parmigiano. Having pointed out this to the waiter and mentioning also the menu stating it was dairy-free he told me to just remove the shavings with my knife!
I would describe our "waiter" rather as an Uber-driver who finished his shift early and came by to help out on a busy night! When I asked for more bread as the bread with my starter was rock-hard (genuinely it was the same as a moretti biscuit), the waiter poked it with his finger before dealing with my request!
The main was well cooked but by now we could not wait to leave and did in fact consider leaving before our starter or possibly after our starter. Suffice to say we did not order desert. In fact my wife and I did discuss the idea the waiter would stick his finger in a sorbet to prove it had no cream!
Overall the food was okay and the chilled red win an oddity! However, the entire evening was simply dreadful from having to stand in a doorway for 20 minutes through to service that defies the meaning of the word. In short - dreadful!
Our first time and our excitement for evening lived up to expectations. The restaurant has a lovely chilled feel and our service was on point and the fresh basil cut at the table with olive oil and the freshest bread was an unexpected bonus ....
I rarely have pasta out unless at a top Italian ...and the fettuccine I had was delicious.
My Gf & I will definitely be going again as Osteria Romana is certainly a little jewel tucked away in Knightsbridge
Intimate atmosphere, delicious food, friendly service. The perfect date night. Highly recommend, A+
First time in this place and enjoyed the simple and fresh food they provided wines offered were a little expensive. Good selection but all started around the same price and went up! Very nice all in all though
They have a food so great that it makes you want to learn Italian.
Super good food, service and whole experience. For sure coming again
I reviewed the reviews and thought this place was going to be awesome. When we arrived it was smaller and quainter then I expected. And I was a little concerned until we met Eliza! Wow! She was the best! And then the food - sooooo good! The spaghetti carbonara is as good as they say! Quiet, quaint, cozy and such good food! Then we met Fulvio - what a combo - Eliza and Fulvio made our dinner so amazing!!!!! Can’t wait to come back! Felt like you were in Roma!
Best Italian restaurant of London. Amazing food and service
