We like the restaurant, been 2 times this month. Only thing we do not like. The whole parking lot valet. Really that tiny parking lot all valet. We do not do valet ever. Need to not have the whole parking lot valet
Absolutely loved being there to celebrate with my family! They made it special. :-)
the trout was excellent, the service was top notch and everything seemed to run like a well oiled machine with new COVID-19 regulations.
I will definitely return to this restaurant and become a regular. Menu is decently priced but the restaurant and the service makes you feel like you should be paying much more. Our server had been at the restaurant for over 10 years and was very attentive and pleasant. I wish I remembered his name. The trout was great, as well as the crab cakes.
Ouisie's has quickly become one of our favorite places to eat. There were some small children in there this time, but it was Father's Day and the parents were trying to keep the noise down. Food and service absolutely exceptional.
We enjoyed the usual good food with friendly, efficient service.
Food and service was excellent. Felt very comfortable dining in as we witnessed Covid precautions being followed by staff.
Date night, everything was great. The owner came by to check on us, servers were great.
I brought an order of Hummus and chips home and the chips are burned and not edible. Other than that it was great.
ALWAYS A FAVORITE DINING EXPERIENCE AND SO NICELY HANDLED BY EVERYONE UNDER THESE WEIRD CIRCUMSTANCES. THE VERY PLEASANT AND CORDIAL HOST ADDED A LOT TO OUR OUTING AS DID OUR SERVER.
THE FOOD WAS A LOVELY CHANGE FROM MY COOKING - OUR FIRST DINNER OUT SINCE MARCH 13.. THANK YOU !
Ouisie’s is having the challenge of being as elegant as always, and with the normal exciting crowd. But they are doing the best possible. I sincerely hope this nonsense gets over with.
Great ambiance, food and service. Always a great time.
Birthday celebration- lunch was amazing
My husband said he would put this in his top 10 of meals in his whole life. We were celebrating our anniversary. It was most special and most delicious.
Everything was amazing!
The food was so bland. There was no sauce in the chicken curry to compliment the rice. The mashed potatoes under the trout were stone cold, the shrimp and avocado salad was tasteless. Even the dressing was tasteless; no zing or brightness. The salmon was cooked perfectly on the greek salad dish, so kudos to whoever cooked it correctly.
Huge disappointment. Will not go back. Far too many excellent restaurants in Houston, Backstreet Cafe for instance which has a similar menu. Very tasty food and isn't that what it's all about.
Dear Roger, I sincerely apologize for the bad experience you had with us yesterday. Your comments are truly helpful to share with our culinary team to get better at what we do everyday for a living. I will fix our issues and hope that you reconsider visiting us sometime in the future. Please ask for me when making reservations, and I will personally make sure your next visit will be a success. Again, my apologies. Regards, Wafi Dinari
Ouisie's has been a favorite for years. I've eaten out a lot since the COVID restrictions began to ease. Ouisie's is one of the few restaurants that has managed to preserve most of its normal ambience and vibe. Keep up the good work.
Always great customer service
After driving by this place for decades, I finally decided to go there for brunch. Hidden gem! The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding.
Unfortunately, they are still trying to recover from the slow business from Covid19 restrictions. However, they have all the safety precautions in place and are ready to delight hungry patrons.
Definitely going back!
Welcome Claire to Houston.
Nice restaurant and reasonably priced meal. Lunch portions were generally good, but seemed a bit unbalanced. To provide a single asparagus stalk as an accompaniment to a fish and mashed potatoes meal, for example, seemed a bit deficient.
Service was somewhat lacking, but given the current covid environment, perhaps they were simply short-staffed. Greatly appreciated that all staff were wearing masks. Also, staff were responsive when asked.
This restaurant is one of our favorites and in this social distancing time, it did not disappoint. Tables had been removed to keep distance, all staff wore masks and gloves and stepped back from the table when speaking. All patrons that evening were equally respectful wearing masks upon entry and exit. As always the staff were friendly, the atmosphere as respite from the chaos of the news. And we find the variety and quality of food perfect. As an added bonus at 4pm on Sunday, we could choose from both the bruncheon and dinner menus. Highly recommend - especially right now.
