As always the food is amazing here. Absolutely love Our Place and always enjoy my time there.

Took a friend there as a surprise for her birthday, neither of us having been there before. We loved it, and I can definitely see myself returning one day to try all of the amazing-looking mains. Customer service on the night was impeccable.

Great food and service in a lovely setting. Ask for a table upstairs on the terrace - it's under cover and there are heaters.

Enjoyed my birthday dinner at Our Place and brought my adult daughter who was so impressed with the food said why haven’t you brought me here before now. All our meals were top quality without the top price and also BYO wine. Such a great location in Balmain and staff are fabulous. Glad this place survived the Covid lockdown where we need to support our local businesses.

I rated the ambience four stars because, although the restaurant tends towards a casual atmosphere, the staff are just a bit more casual (especially in dress) than I would expect for this level of good food, service and price.

Our Place on Darling is our ‘go to’ restaurant in Balmain. It’s the best in the area. Always friendly, excellent food and service, great location with a great atmosphere.

Our Place at Darling is a great place for good food and friendly service. The venue is small therefore due to COVID19 regulations they cannot host too many guests. So book on time! Having less less guest at the same time actually made it a more enjoyable experience for me since it is not so crowded. The menu is limited, but the food is excellent!

A delightful experience celebrating a birthday with friends. Great food, wine, service & atmosphere plus special attention with a birthday candle in the dessert, staff singing Happy Birthday and a complimentary cocktail. Can't complain about that. Outstanding food and friendly service. Very enjoyable from beginning to end. My beef was cooked perfectly and the sticky date pudding was delicious on a cold, rainy night. Will be back!

Great food and service -cosy and friendly - awesome for a catch up with friends

This is a fabulous place to eat, run by beautiful people who love to create great food. The staff are incredibly friendly, serving modern Australian food that never disappoints. Even better in these times of social distancing and self-isolation, the fantastic food will continue to be available by home delivery or pick up from the restaurant door. I have been eating at Our Place regularly for over 10 years and am looking forward to enjoying more fabulous meals in my own place while we all live through the virus - then will be back to eat here again.

The food was excellent and it is a nice easy place to go after work.

Reliably good as usual. I had a lovely Birthday & my 94 year old mother in law also feels looked after & welcomed as well as the young people. The Tech free Tuesday challenge was a great opportunity for us to ditch our screens & enjoy each others' company in return for a small free brownie & icecream. Nice idea! Thanks Marco
