Outback Steakhouse - South Wentworthville

Steak was great. So was the wine list and non-alcoholic beverages. Maybe improve their side-salads as it looked a bit average to go with the meal.

Only downfall is meals are overpriced and service dropped when more patrons attended restaurant

The staff at the Wentworthville location were great.
The food was delicious and the service was excellent

Just a bit dissapointed that a large table of people that were there done of them just walked in and didn’t sign in.

Service was pretty bad. Took 10 minutes to get someone’s attention for a drink order or to clear plates away. Food was good but nothing special. We were placed near a large table of kids running around and screaming. Not the best vibe for a date. Staff are all really friendly though!

Our host (didn't get her name) was so good, she is an absolute asset to the Company.

The server we had was really nice and friendly and helpful.

They forgot our entrees till I asked where it was 1/2 way through the main meal & I put down I was celebrating a birthday & they did not even acknowledge the request. Very poor

The portion is big but having take away option is really good.

We went on a Friday night. The service was quick, tailored and felt refined. We went to check out their new menu, it was incredible! The bigger highlights was the Steak/Cheese dip and the Prawn Topped Salmon.

Service was near zero. After waiting for about 30 min had to ask for someone to take our order and drinks. Also my meal came without verges and I had to ask for these. Also Had to ask for bill. There wasn’t many in restaurant so they couldn’t use that as an excuse . There was only one main waitress that I could see who said she was on a double shift and she seemed tired as she wasn’t doing such a great job although friendly . I saw 2 other people delivering drinks . Could not recommend for this experience. It was New Year’s Eve and they should have had enough staff on this particular night

The quality of service as always is poor. waiting for service for over 30 minutes and drinks took another 20 minutes. Food eventually arrived. Took the children who started to become very restless I the wait for the drinks and food. 15 minutes after we finished dinner there was still no offer for desert menus so we paid and left.

We were there for my husband’s birthday lunch. We were attended by the staff very frequently and they are friendly. Food was great, pricing was reasonable for that portion we got.

On arrival no covid practices for logging in were implemented & our booking / party was sat & directed to the table separately. We were sat in a booth (6pax) directly in front of a large party booking (approx 15pax) which was a poor decision especially when there were multiple sections empty away from the large table.
Food was good & arrived at a reasonable time frame. The beef ribs on the mixed plate were a little fatty. Service was generally good but a big gap in time between clearing of the mains & desert arriving & follow up drinks was a little long.
Over all a good lunch for where it was at (a chain franchise resaurant).

Food was very nice & hot, didn’t take long but it was very nicely cooked!

Busy night. Waited over 30 mins for two drinks then waitress forgot to put entree on our order so the entree was served with the main meals. The meals were cold, the streak was over cooked. Then had to wait even longer for the plates to be cleared away and for dessert to come out. Servers and manager were nice but overall won’t be back again, disappointing.

My husbands drink didn’t arrive so we had to ask for it and they forgot our entree. Not happy as we made the reservation at 6:15pm thinking they won’t be busy so they won’t mess up our order and they still did!!

My family and I have been to the Steak House at Wentworthville quite a few times and like a sucker I thought we would try again. For the last few years it has been much the same. It seems party groups have higher priority over small groups so the workers focus on them and forget about you. Either that or they just hide and don't come to serve you. And this time like normal, other people who arrived well after us were getting their food before us. There were lots of polite apologies and excuses why it was taking so long to get our food. We were told they would push our order to the front of the queue. But the question is, how do we get behind people who arrive at least half an hour after us? Took 1 and a half hours to finally get our main meal. By that time we all had pretty much lost our appetites and were ready to leave. When we finally got the food, the ribs had barely two mouths full of meat on them. I am deadly serious! It was a case of," I like a mouthful of meat with my bones." The pig must have been seriously underfeed. I was so displeased I almost went to complain, but we were there for a relaxing meal not confrontation so I didn't. Lucky we had some chicken with the ribs or we would have gone home hungry after a $145.00 meal for 2 adults and 1 kid. There could be many excuses for these issues but I seriously don't think the value or service is there any more. Other places can do it and there are much better places close by.

Great food and great service but it felt like we were eating in a sauna.

We were attended to and served well but had to chase up the entree after 20mins. No one came back to check drinks even when serving the lunch food. The lunch food was delivered in drabs so we barely ate together and only 3 on our table. It was very noisy plus music was also too loud for lunchtime. I won’t be back to that venue

I took my work colleges for a Christmas lunch\We had to wait 1/2 hour to get the drinks we ordered when we first were seated
They told us they were about to bring the mains out & i told them we had not had the entree items yet
A few entree items had arrived when the mains started coming out
The remaining entree's came out after the the mains were delivered
The overall quality of the food was only just above average.
Manager deducted cost of drinks & Some entrees from cost of bill

I don't usually write reviews but i will today.
Group of 4 we ordered our drinks.
2 of us ordered Broken Shackles Lager. Not on tap, no keg
Then we changed to Corona, sorry we don't have this either. Dan Murphy's was 50 meters up the road, I am sure they could have sent a staff member to pick up a few cases.

Ordered other drinks and this was fine.

4 orders of RibEye Steak 390 grams ($45)
3 rare, 1 medium rare.

This is the disappointing part the restaurant was 1/2 full but our steaks appeared 15 mins after ordering which was great but maybe pre heated or pre made.

My friend and I did not get Ribeye Steak, This steak was flat about 1/2cm thick thick and I would say could have been rump or strip steak.

Chewy and couldn't eat this (not a rib eye)

Inform the manager this wasn't ribeye, He said the chef cuts the meat on site and they came in different thickness.

Although the other 2 guests received ribeye which were 2-3 cms thick.

Didn't order anything else as I lost my apatite.

Well there were 4 of us and I am sure we wouldn't be recommending Outback Steakhouse to our friends and family after this.

Outback Steakhouse has been one of my favourite restaurants for many years so I picked it for my birthday dinner, unfortunately it has changed a lot of it’s food items, prices have risen and the food is not the same, my favourite being the Razorback ribs, they are now covered in what looks and tastes like a tomato base sauce which wasn’t very nice, I know when I think of pork ribs, tomato does not come to mind and for $55 you’d think it would be enjoyable. My friends Alice chicken and rib combo came out with half a jar of pepper on it which was inedible but kindly enough our waitress removed this from the bill and another’s bloomin chicken was tasteless as was the Alice springs chicken, I was also looking forward to the bloomin onion and got it to share between 3-4 adults but it was that small (usually double the size) it was almost barely enough for 2. Really the only 2 at the table who enjoyed their meal was the baby and child, with pasta and child size ribs. Our waitress was very polite, kind, professional and helpful. The restaurant itself was however clean but very dark, you definitely need more light over the tables and the noise level was very loud, in all honesty I don’t know whether it was the mixture of customers (there were no more than 10 other tables and it’s quite a large restaurant) and the music or either one alone but I sat at a large round table and was unable to hear the people across from me. For a bill that was around $400 2x children’s meals, 4 adults meals and just sides for the 5th adult, it was not a great overall experience and unfortunately I will not be returning, it really wasn’t worth what we paid or the disappointing changes to the menu 😭

Visit this location quite regularly, absolutely outstanding every time !
