    The waitress that was helping us was literally tossing our dishes around our table because she was trying to put down other items that we ordered. Asked her a few times for items which she'll acknowledge but ignore afterwards. She was the front desk lady that was helping out but if she doesn't want to help out then don't because she'll just make clients not wanting to come back anymore. Also, that $70 hot pot is a joke, it was such a rip off.

    Sashimi (fish) was high quality and good, but rice wasn't cooked properly, so sushi overall was mediocre. Rice felt dry and would disintegrate (not holding together). Had a lot of hype on instagram, so wanted to check it out and I was disappointed, especially for the price point.

    This is a Japanese (with a bit of Korean fusion) restaurant. Overall, I’m giving it a 5-star for the food, service & ambiance. We got the best quality for the fair price we paid! I wish I can go to every detail of what we ordered but it’s quite overwhelming. Our entire party (of ten) were all satisfied with the experience. We ordered a variety of food & no complaints about asingle item at all. My entire party said “excellent choice!” Don’t hesitate to try this restaurant if you ever find my review. Thank you, Oyabun!

    Horrible service. Waitress seemed bothered at her having to help us. No assistance was given when asked what she liked or recommended. She did not want to bother with our questions. She sat us next to another party with an entire open restaurant and would not allow us to sit in another area. Food is decent but over priced. Will not return.

    The restaurant was kind enough to allow me and my girlfriend to have a private room that is meant for party of 8 instead of a table because it was really crowded at the restaurant, during Valentines day.

    It was terrified !! We were here at 7:30 with reservation, we got the table at 8:00, and the food never came until 9:40 so we left. We didn’t have anything and wait for about 2 hours. Unreasonable ! Never come unless you have 4 hours for a dinner.

    Come this place for Valentine’s dinner. The sushi tower is very fresh, it’s even better if less rice for sushi. This’s my first time try the soy sauce marinated raw crab, taste good and fresh. Will come again next time.

    Dine in a couple days ago and it was great. Everything was good and service was really nice. Everything was super fresh and even though I’m not a big fan of seafood I enjoyed it a lot.

    Coming in to this restaurant already I felt welcome and the atmosphere was very cozy. The prices were very cheap and if you come for lunch certain items are 20 dollars. Parking is super easy to find and only 3 dollars. The food was very very flavorful and super bright and vibrant. The eel is super good and the miso soup is the best I've tried. The Nagasaki seafood soup was super warm and delicious as well. Overall this place is super cozy, great view and would highly recommend.

    I never write reviews but I really enjoyed this place. Service was nice and the place was beautiful. I finally got the chance to try raw marinated crab and it was super unique. The flavor and texture of the food is something that I have never tried before. The soba was also cool. I don't think I have never tried cold noodles before and it was a very unique experience.

    Oyabun Sushi serves really good sushi rolls. They give you thick cuts of sushi and the tuna here is so buttery. The interior is super modern and newly renovated. I liked how the the restaurant is huge. They even serve something called a sushi tower which is basically a staircase full of sushi rolls and nigiri. The service is very attentive (they keep refilling your waters without you needing to ask) and the staff are super friendly. Overall, the fish tastes fresh here and it’s a nice spot for dinner.

    This Restaurant amazed me once I stepped in and tasted the food. Some reviews startled me a bit as how I am scared to try a new restaurant. I had a nice lunch with my fellow friends and we absolutely enjoyed our choice of seafood. The NAGASAKI noodle soup was definitely the best ONE hands down. I was amazed by the taste of it. The little miso soup was a quick start to a lunch, P.S the best miso I have had so far. Will be coming back for a nice quick lunch! (;

    First time trying this place out and it was spectacular. The restaurant was clean and well designed. Lighting was adequate and music wasn’t too loud. We had a variety of dishes and everything tasted delicious but the ones that stood out were the Nagasaki Seafood Noodle Soup and their Dragon Roll. Service was also great as we were always given water refills. I highly recommend this place.

    Today I got the chance to come dine-in and it was great. I tried the Oyabun Plate and the Soba Noodles. They were both very flavorful and delicious. They offered a lot of fresh fish, eggs, and other dishes. I will for sure be coming back with my family to try out the rest.

    Great vibe right away walking into the restaurant. Very modern and lively vibe from the setup and lights of the inside. Getting to the food, you don’t get more authentic than this. The sashimi was very fresh unlike other sushi restaurants nearby, and i love the rice bowls with fish eggs inside. Very very yummy. The service was also great here, with servers constantly checking up on you and making sure all your needs are fulfilled. Definitely a must try, hidden gem here in Ktown (:

    I took my wife for our anniversary for the Japanese live seafood omakase experience, thinking it was a high quality Japanese sushi place. When we arrived at this fairly empty restaurant in the middle of K-town we knew this wasn’t what I was expecting but we still wanted to give it a chance. We ordered the medium live seafood omakase experience because it included the live octopus and the small didn’t. The live halibut and octopus sashimi was just so tough and chewy that we couldn’t enjoy it. I doubt the octopus was alive a few moments before we got it. They said it would still move but this definitely wasn’t. The oysters were not fresh and didn’t taste good either. The hot pot was definitely not with wagyu beef. It was a big disappointment.

    Oyabun is definitely a must-visit. Other sushi places these days could only wish to have sushi as fresh as Oyabun’s and the vibe/ambiance inside could not be beat. I loved the crispness of the Katsu and the broth taste in their lovely Udon. The staff is very friendly and attentive and they even have call buttons just in case you need extra attention! 10/10 recommend and will definitely be coming back !

    The place was beautiful. We went there for the lunch special and ate everything. My favorite was the unagi rice and the mixed raw fish with rice. But if you want a variety I recommend the Oyabun plate. It’s great to go with friends and be able to catch up and hang out. Each table is divided from the others so it gives enough privacy.

    The food here was amazing, the unagi rice was one of the best dishes here very sweet and tangy. Miso soup was very good one of the best soups I’ve had, super flavorful and not too salty. A lot of dishes here are very refreshing and quick to eat which is very convenient. The environment here is very private which I love and is definitely a spot where you can eat alone or with friends. Would definitely come back 10/10.

    The experience that we had with my friends was amazing!! Food was outstanding and service was excellent. We enjoyed our time here from beginning to finish!! My favorite food was the katsu, eel and udon!! We’re definitely going to be back for more!! We really can’t just get enough of the food. The ambiance was delightful as well.     From just looking at this place from the outside, it looks amazing once you enter. It is a very settling restaurant. We ordered tons of food. Japanese, Korean fusion, the reviews through me off, but when I looked at everything coming out, it was wonderful! For a quick lunch, the combo we chose was easy setting and joyful to eat. Yes the price is a little higher than average, but in my opinion, it was worth it. I love going out with my friends and if they enjoyed it, thats all that matters. The ambience was nice as well, we enjoyed the window seating. The lunch special they have right now was pleasing, saved a couple dollars. Will be coming back again for lunch!

    This place was really outstanding! Their food was really good. The restaurant was well designed and clean. Their sushi tasted fresh and tasty. Their cold noodles was good as it had a good balance of spicy and tasty. The katsu was crispy on the outside but juicy. I highly recommend this place to anyone near ktown.

    I ordered Chirashi Sushi bowl, soy sauce marinated crab and Nabe!! Sashimi was so fresh!!! My favorite thing was soy sauce marinated crab. It was perfect, It's sweet and tastes like soy sauce, but not too salty. It was really delicious mixing it with rice! It was $40 and the portions were great. Nabe was the perfect hot pot to eat winter season. There is a lot of meat and vegetable. I was able to taste various flavors...😍 I really recommend this place 👍

    Took my daughter there during Trojan family weekend. Amazing variety of dishes from the freshest toro and live shrimp sashimi to sushi to tempura and hot plates before dessert. Well paced enjoyable experience in booth with bamboo curtain. Beautiful presentation. Friendly service. English not their first language and a little difficult at times to understand. As a first timer would have liked some explanation of the different menus, what the different sauces and pickled dishes were, etc. Had a great time regardless. Highly recommend

    Arrived on time , they had no idea I had made a reservation under my name couldn’t find it for a bit and seemed confused about it . So they didn’t read the special note I had left about bringing in a small dessert for the birthday occasion. We arrived on time and the place was empty so we figured we would be seated right away , that was not the case . We waited about 15 minutes until we were seated . After that we waited another 10 minutes before a server came to our table . Our waters were not refilled the entire meal . The food came pretty quickly and was great . But as soon as closing time came they asked us to leave right away . I’ve never been to a restaurant where right on the dot they ask you to leave .

    Very disappointed with food and service. We ordered the $180 Premium Omakase but were all very disappointed. This place is very poor at sushi and the service is slow. I felt robbed after thinking that we paid $180 for mediocre sushi. Never again!
