This has been our go to sushi place for years and never disappoints.

Absolutely loved this restaurant. The staff's level of care for each detail, plus the outstanding food really make it one of the best dining experiences in SF. Price is high, but worth it as ever aspect of this experience makes sense.

We ate at Ozumo for the second time in 2021. The first time was for dessert outdoors in February and the second time was indoors in April.

The decor and ambiance was very lovely and clean and everyone is very welcoming upon arrival and leaving.

The food was very tasty and fresh. We ordered the most expensive sushi platter (Yokozuna), Shacho roll, Hamachi Maki Roll, Ebi Nigiri, Shime Sama Nigiri, Unagi Nigiri, Hakata Cheesecake, and our favorite dessert, the chocolate-chan dessert that we came back for!

Also I don't know why but the Sky Tower cocktail was literally the best cocktail I've ever had!

Our server Dean (he ended up being our server both times) was very friendly and kind to us.

Shout out to the BACK OF THE HOUSE TEAM as they are never acknowledged but work the hardest and they did a wonderful job and creating and providing a delicious meal.

Enjoyed an outdoor socially distanced dining experience at our favorite SF sushi spot. It did not disappoint and Dir. Luis Huerta went the extra mile to make it a special treat for my daughter .

Consistently some of the best Sushi in SF the last few years. Outstanding broad, diverse menu with many excellent quality dishes as well as finely curated Omakase. Outstanding take-out menu with excellent packaging. The Ozumo roll is great. The tempura is great as well, but appears to be off the menu during the pandemic. Highly recommended. Appropriately priced for the quality.

The food was delicious and beautifully plated. Our server was also wonderful! Will definitely be back!

Wonderful Meal!

Just made our fifth trip to Ozumo over the weekend. It was great as usual. My husband had miso soup and the Ozumo Makimono. I had the Kaiso Salad and the Sekiwake Makimono. We sat outside and enjoyed the liveliness of the street. All safety precautions were taken seriously so we felt very comfortable. Highly recommend Ozumo.

Another amazing experience this time I brought 3 new people! They all loved it as well!

Cramped & uneven table, unresponsive wait staff, asked specifically for them to bring food in a certain order & they brought all at once.

Ozumo never fails as a beautiful spot to eat outdoors and exceptional food. If I am not sure where to go, if I can get a table, it is an easy choice.

Best Japanese place. Amazing staff, excellent food and great ambiance. My go to place for Japanese food cravings. You’ll be tempted to try everything in the menu. Dhoyo, karaage, hanabi and ozumo roll are my faves for food and giddy geisha for cocktails.

Excellent. Not sure it was really a $250 meal, but an excellent and memorable date.

I highly reccomend the Bento with yelow fin tuna collar. We also had the steak Bento. Both prepared to perfection.

Everything was wonderful

The food was meh, we made a reservation for an indoor table but they didn’t have any available so they sat us outside. The beginning of the meal was fine, the quality of the food was okay, and the cocktails were okay too. But there was about a 30 minute lull in service where no one checked on us, refilled our drinks, or asked us if we needed our check.
