Pacifica Seafood Restaurant
Sauted shrimp, garlic, white wine, tomatoes, capers, parmesan & fresh herbs
Always love this place. Took two other couples and the were impressed.
Patio dining, great view overlooking the blvd.
Highly recommend, Dinner, Lunch, Happy hours are great!
A restaurant that bills itself as a place for sea food ought to have a greater variety on its menu. We were offered exactly two fish choices. That said dishes were well prepared and attractively presented. Wines are very reasonably priced. In all, we had a very pleasant evening.
Food, and restaurant was a solid experience! Waiter was average, when asking for the heat to be turned he disappeared for 15 minutes ignoring our requests. When looking for the bill I had to flag him Dow waiting another 10 minutes.
Always a wonderful dining experience. We are so sorry for the staff at this time of distress.
Wonderful experience for a mini reunion of high school friends from our Connecticut friendships.
All food was attractively presented and very tasteful.
Pacifica is a lovely indoor/outdoor space right on El Paseo, overlooking the street. We sat outside under heaters & had a great dinner. I’m from the Northwest so I’m picky about my salmon, and I had some of the best salmon I’ve ever tasted on my salad, the Insalata Melania (which does not refer to the current First Lady.). The sides of Brussels Sprouts and corn risotto were also delicious. Service was first-rate, professional, and friendly. We can’t wait to go back!
We had a wonderful 13th birthday celebration dinner for my daughter and five of her fiends. The service was great and the food was as well. Thank you so much to Pacifica and their staff for helping to make our dining experience so fabulous!
great food & attentive service
Outstanding meal in every way. The server was attentive and efficient, and the food was excellent. We plan to have at least one meal there every time we visit the Palm Springs area.
The food is excellent. Great service. Wonderful ambiance. Love this place
Delicious crab salad on a hot day.
We had the Mustard Catfish, a regular favourite of ours, and as usual, it was prepared perfectly, the fish was flaky and light, and the 1/2 price Tuesday bottle of Pacifica-labeled Cabernet Sauvignon was beyond reproach. Service was quick but not rushed, and the setting was outstanding. Always a lovely evening at Pacifica!
Delicious food, great service and super location. We will return on our next visit.
Very tasty. On the pricey side but very enjoyable.
Had guests in town and had requested outdoor seating but unfortunately we were put in overflow outdoor area at the back of the restaurant which cleared quite quickly leaving us all alone for about the last hour. Our server was great but it was a very odd experience to be put in the equivalent of the ‘broom cupboard’ while the rest of the restaurant was buzzing. As a regular at Pacifica, we expected better....
Sea bass was outstanding
Others loved the clam chowder, salmon, and seafood stew
All three of us were very pleased with our choices. I am a local and will return again.
We always have good experiences, service and food while dining at Pacifica however this evening they were overwhelmed and service was a unorganized. Our poor waitress offered apologies for the food delays and cross orders. We truly did feel she meant it and stated the mistakes that happened. But because we were there to eat and no rush to for anything thereafter we felt her gratitude for the mistakes and/or problem occurred should not be burden on her for any misunderstanding. You cannot plan for a influx of people into a restaurant but they at least acknowledge and offered to make it up with desert and food credits. All in all, we were very happy and fulfilled.
Another great meal with you guys! Tried the Chilean sea bass for the 1st time. Amazing!! Definitely going to have that again. And your Pacifica macadamia nut ice cream pie.. to die for 👍
Loved the location with patio dining and view. Food was good overall. Starters were great - baked oysters and the bacon-wrapped dates. Tuscan-style Escolar was an enjoyed and solid entree, but the twin lobster tails could have been more flavorful as well as the lackluster sides. And being the most expensive entree on their seafood restaurant menu, I expected more. Birthday dessert of their macadamia nut ice cream pie was welcomed and enjoyed.
I booked Pacifica well in advance and requested a table overlooking El Paseo.
It the second time I was moved to a different table. It was on the patio but in the interior area. Much noisier and you. Feel rushed.
We were 3 guests and the tables I requested were occupied by 2 people (deuces) at tables for four. Not sure why that happened.
Really, how much in advance do you have to reserve a table?
Gorgeous setting, very good food, located in a mall.
love this place. we had a great outdoor table. The sunset dinners are an outstanding value. And the sugar spice salmon is to die for...
The food was excellent, the server was attentive & tried to meet all our needs.
Four of the six diners at our table had the sea bass and it was beautifully prepared! We received excellent service!
Been customer for 15 years. Seafood is outstanding and blending of flavors is magnificent. Expensive but well worth it.
Food was outstanding. Reservations were honored. Great experience.
Always delicious food & excellent service- I eat here anytime I’m in the desert
My wife and I visit friends in Indian Wells, CA every year in February. This has been our favorite restaurant in the area for the past 10 years. The food is always well prepared and the prices are good. A must try is the clam chowder and the fish and chips. The fish and chips, however, are only available at lunch, or in the bar during dinner. We usually come for lunch when you can sit on the outdoor balcony and admire the clear blue sky. A great dining experience. I wish we had one in Austin, TX.
We will return. Good experience.
Amazing meal and the service was fantastic!
Outstanding sunset menu. Save money by buying drinks at bar during happy hour.
We enjoyed all of the familiar items we have come to love at Tommy’s for lunch—the Captiva Cocktails and the blackened fish tacos. The addition of artichokes with the tarragon aioli with a touch of Parmesan was superb. Unfortunately, when clearing the table the waitress spilled a Captival cocktail all over my wife’s clothes and in her purse. They got a couple of towels to help us try to clean us the mess and the manager offered a couple of coupons for a free appetizer but the response was totally inadequate. Her Michal Kors purse was nearly ruined and required extensive cleaning after we returned to our condo to keep it and some of the items in it from being a complete loss. The clothes she was wearing needed to be laundered twice to clean up and get rid of all the fishy odors. I know it was an accident, but it was close to being a disaster.
Couldn’t have been any better. A 10/10
Reliable seafood in bustling environment, several discrete indoor/outdoor seating areas.
Though our waiter was very pleasant and efficient, the kitchen dispatched the main courses while three of us were still enjoying the appetizer course. Predictably, when the mains were re-served, two of the three were not as warm as hoped. Really a basic error in the kitchen expediter function.
The seafood stew had lots of fish and shellfish, but the broth was rather bland; the cod and salmon, signature dishes, were enjoyed by our diners.
This was my third visit to Pacifica - I had the petrale sole special (not bad), following a starter of clam chowder (not bad, but not great). What strikes me most about Pacifica is that for a seafood restaurant, the number of seafood entrees is quite limited and that most of the seafood entrees (with the exception of the aforementioned petrale sole special) involved sauces and added flavors - a suggestion would be to include on the menu some simply prepared fish - sautéed or broiled with sauces on the side - the Hayes Street Grill in San Francisco does this very well - maybe have a look at their menu to see what I’m referring to
We had an excellent meal and the service was also excellent! Thank you for a wonderful evening dining out with my wife and celebrating my birthday!
Met our cousins who were visiting from Michigan for an early dinner. We were seated at one of the cabanas, and the weather was perfect that afternoon. Everything we ordered tasted incredible, and we had such a beautiful view. You really can’t beat the ambiance or food at Pacifica!
Fantastic as always great service food and ambu
We had the Chilean Sea Bass (2), the Diver Scallops and the Prawn Pasta and each one of us raved about our meal. Fabulous!
