second time there and the food is fabulous both times!
As always amazing food!!! Service and ambiance!!!!!!!!!!
Lovely atmosphere for an outdoor seating, friendly staff and great brunch!
We absolutely love PDA! We found it a few years ago on one of our vacations to the Cape and we keep coming back, 4 years later. The bakery and restaurant is outstanding. The pastry, coffee and restaurant options are so so good and they never disappoint. Everything from the pastry and coffee to the sandwiches and entrees at PDA is full of deliciousness. Every dish is prepared and presented beautifully. The staff is warm and friendly and they always greet us with smiles and welcome us back. We make plans to go to the Cape just so we can grab coffee, have lunch and grab another coffee and dessert for the trip home. We've eaten at PDA many times this year over the summer and fall, both inside and out and we feel completely comfortable and safe dining there. The staff is masked and gloved and they're following all safety protocols. We look forward to returning again and again and again. It's a very special place and we want to do everything we can to support them, especially during the pandemic.
This was our first time here for dinner and it was an overall wonderful date night experience;)
I have eaten four times in three weeks and the experience has always been excellent. Of the four dining experiences our server has been a young lady called Maggs. Her attention and professionalism each time should be acknowledged by management and or ownership. She is a valuable employee to your organization during these strange times.
Wonderful experience even though they were out of all the items we were looking forward to
Best brunch. Food delicious. BloodyMarys are outstanding with Habanero vodka.
When We arrived it was very windy and cool and maitre D Told us that they do not allow any baseball hats to be on even though we’re sitting outside. I always wear a hat in the wind So needless to say I was totally shocked they would not allow me to wear a hat and this fancy French restaurant. If nothing bad to say about the food or the service, but the way we were treated upon arrival was uncalled for. Otherwise I had a cashmere sweater and khaki pants and nice shoes and I am an older gentleman that always dresses to go out, so this was totally shocking.
I love this place. I came here from New York about a year ago and I think this is the best restaurant on the Cape for sure! Compares with the finest restaurants I’ve eaten in in the city. I’m here for five months a year and I go about once a week for a wonderful meal. The staff is efficient, very safe with our current pandemic conditions, and bravo to Shae for his wonderful welcomes.
Enjoyable atmosphere and comfortable standards during times of virus!
We went for brunch on a Sunday and it wasn’t too busy! The food was delicious! Just definitely extremely hard to find parking
Appreciated the timing of courses so we were able to enjoy appetizer, salad, entree in their own time. Unfortunately, one of the dessert orders was overlooked and came well after other diner had finished.
Also was pleased that entree was prepared without an ingredient as requested. Portions were generous. Salad choices very inventive and delicious.
Everything was great, but our waiter never informed us of the specials...we heard him telling another party! Would have been nice to have had those options. Also my pommes anglaise were cold...sent them back and they were still cold. But everything else was so good, it seemed like no big deal! Didn’t need potatoes anyway. Oh, and they comped us dessert! Really all quite good!
This is one of our favorite spots on the Cape - we were so glad to see them so busy during the current conditions. The food and service were great as usual. Unfortunately this visit, there were lots of young kids roaming around, playing games, etc. which spoiled the usual very civilized environment. Also, its a shame to see they have moved away from sending guests home with a bespoke loaf of bread from their amazing bakery. The sandwich loaves are still a very generous touch, but not close to the previous experience.
Had a wonderful outdoor table
Greeted pleasantly by maitre’d
Out server (Ms mcnulty ?) was very attentive
The assistants who brought the delicious bread were also great
I had the seared scallops and rissotto and my husband had the roast chicken . We shared the burata and tomato salad - everything was delicious
Breakfast menu has extremely limited options. Croissants are delicious, but smaller than I think most would expect. Hot coffee was great, except my husband's was full of grounds at the bottom. Very cool to watch the bakers in the back - that's an awesome element.
Foodwise, the breakfast sandwich I found to be unbalanced - the egg yolk, plus the avocado makes it wonderfully rich, but there's not enough prosciutto to cut through the richness, making it oddly heavy for a morning meal.
Great food and great company
I checked the box that we were celebrating a birthday and was surprised that it was never mentioned
Pain D’Avignon is a great place no matter the occasion but especially everyday dining. Great atmosphere, wonderful staff and great nightly specials. I would highly recommend them.
The bartender and waitstaff were excellent. Food wonderful other than the onion soup: the broth was a bit bland. Otherwise fantastic place to eat. Highly recommend!
Pain D’Avignon is hands down the best restaurant in the Mid Cape area!
The food was outstanding. The waitress was pleasant and friendly but it was a long wait for the food and the coffee came ten minutes after the dessert and was lukewarm and I had to ask for cream. Because of Covid, it wasn't full but the noise was distracting.
The staff & quality of food was excellent. From the beginning to end our experience was one we will definitely want to repeat. The French cuisine, has definitely lived up to it's reputation!
Fabulous as always!! So fun and vibey at a safe distance. A welcome experience given our new normal. Thank you for a great evening!!
Always delicious. My favorite Cape restaurant. Thinking they have done a terrific job adapting to life's current realities.
Great place, Don't tell anyone about it, save it for yourself, its that good.
I have been here several times and each time is a memorable experience.
Great place and food was great we arrived and the place was very busy consequently service was veeeryy slow. They made up for it by giving us free cookies which were delicious/
Amazing food. Great service and doing a great job with cdc guidelines.
I love the food and the atmosphere. I have been a regular for quite some time now. the quiche is to die for and the salads& sandwiches are equally delicious. Staff is always courteous and efficient.
We love this place! Being French, it’s always nice to find a place that reminds us of home. We always get greeted very nicely too. Everything we have tried on the menu was delicious. The baguette is way too good and hard to stop eating. We really like the atmosphere inside. But also had dinner on the patio and it was nice. Always a nice time!
So delicious! Quality food at affordable prices
Service was spot on. Professional but not over bearing. The food came out hot and prepared just right. The new dining addition recently added was decorated in the French bistro style. Very nice.
Hostess does not following Covid Protocol doesn’t wear her mask properly doesn’t cover her nose . We made reservation for Brunch we waited outside in the rain before being seated. Inside the restaurant they do not follow social distancing .All the table were all close together.Food and drinks were great. Duck Confit Hash was good the potato needed a little bit more flavor .Croque Monsieur was very good wish it came with home fries or a petite salad .Overall everything was good.
Always an amazing experience. Food exceptional and the manager Shea goes out of his way to make us comfortable. Easily one of the best restaurants on the Cape!
Wonderful lunch outside. Great food and service from Maya!!
The food and service were exquisite. Thank you.
Absolutely my favorite restaurant on Cape Cod! The dinners are expertly prepared and presented. Only quality ingredients are used for each thoughtfully prepared dish.
It is also our go-to place for morning Latte’s and croissants. Their pastry selection is mouth watering and makes for a difficult decision!
Don’t forget to order the crepes suzette for dessert. Amazing. ❤️
As a first time customer, Pain D’Avignon exceeded our expectations! We came in just shy of 11:00, but I told the waitress (who was incredibly personable and hardworking) that I’d take a croissant prior to eleven so I could order a sandwich off of the lunch menu. Upon returning to the table, our wonderful waitress explained That they had made an exception in the kitchen so she returned with my amazing croissant and sandwich. The turkey sandwich was truly the best turkey sandwich I have ever had. My husband loved his breakfast sandwich as well. Overall, it was a perfect dining experience and we look forward to returning!
Excellent brunch menu with a large portion of quiche Lorraine.
Service was friendly and accommodating as I was with a friend on a restricted diet.
