   The food was OK but not worth the monies charged. The highlight of the time at the Palm Court was Keith (our waiter). He was AMAZING. He was 'Johnny on the Spot" when we needed anything. When the potato pan was empty we told him and he immediately went to the back to let them know. When the new pan of potatoes arrived, he brought both of us a small plate of potatoes. He went above and beyond, He obvious cares about the people and is a very hard worker. He is a prime example of what a waiter should be.

   Family meal on Christmas Day— Experience began with the bellman of the hotel asking for us to pay him on the side for where we chose to park. No big deal, it’s Christmas was our thought. Checked in at the host table. We arrived a little early for our reservation so I expected to wait for our table at least until our reservation time. Unfortunately we waited 25 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. Our waitstaff (I do not want to misspell her name—she’s lovely and from Turkey) was attentive and kind. She was a breath of fresh air as other staff congregated in groups to complain about various things. It was unavoidable to hear the comments as they were standing right next to the buffet. The buffet had a variety of choices. Of course ,keeping items warm was a struggle. Vegetarians would have limited choices with 75% of the choices being potatoes. The dessert choices were outstanding.

   While it was a buffet, our table received very little attention. The appetizers, salads, meats and desserts were very good, but some of the side dishes were just ok like the mushroom risotto, shrimp scampi, lobster Mac.

   The Christmas Buffet made our Holiday complete! We are so fortunate that the Hotel did the buffet after two years of Covid. We were so excited to attend and it did not disappoint us in any way. Everyone was very welcoming and kind. The food excellent! In every way a special holiday treat!

   Our favorite place in the Cincy area for special occasion brunches - Dickens Carol brunch, Christmas Day brunch. The trio of carolers was wonderful at both. We had a couple of family members join us at the last moment for the Christmas Day brunch and they were able to accommodate us without any issues.

   The food was fine and the service was very good but the heating was broken and the restaurant would not make accommodations in their pricing due to this issue. We had to move tables to find a warm spot. We were not the only family having to wear our jackets during dinner.

    Brunch was outstanding!!! I would give it SIX STARS if you had them. The service was outstanding. The selection of food in the buffet was off the charts! There was something for everyone - red meat, chicken, tofu, fish, shell fish, bacon, all different kinds of vegetables and breads. — and all that was before you got to the multitude of desserts!! PLEASE bring brunch back on a regular basis. We Cincinnatians love our brunch and you know how to serve brunch!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

    Went for the Christmas Day brunch. Amazing variety of food and desserts. The hotel is very nicely decorated for the season. Live carolers and a piano player. Wonderful expand will be back!

    Glad to see the fabulous buffet is back in full swing. Was disappointed with the desserts. Far from the tasty treats from the past. Service was wonderful and the entrees and sides were superb.

    Great value. It was not cheap, but there were so many delicious choices not generally available at a brunch buffet. The piano player and the Christmas Carolers were a very nice touch. I wish they had this buffet during the year, not just in December.

    It was a return to the pre-Covid Orchids, which we sorely miss. The brunch selections were fantastic and the servers were excellent and attentive. Hopefully, this evenbt will be repeated in 2023. Dare we hope for a return of the Orchid's restaurant? Two minor suggestions. Don't remove the name tags from the dishes prematurely, and don't exclude your wonderful bread pudding from the menu. All in all. a wonderful experience.

    The setting and idea are wonderful, but the value simply isn't there. Most of the food wasn't hot, and our waiter was rude. I specifically asked for a straw for our special needs daughter, and we didn't get it. Obviously, no big deal, but when I asked for one, the waitress said, "uh.. ok." She also was very intrusive about gathering our plates from the table. We had the 2:00 p.m. seating, and at 2:30, they started taking the signs up for what was in the chafing dishes. So when we went up for another plate, we had to open every chafing dish to remind us what was in there. The setting is beautiful, and the carolers were great. However, if the price point was half of what it was, it would be more appropriate.

    I hope the Palm Court is open for ever! What a beautiful hotel! I have a life time of memories and traditions there, beginning with my wedding reception in the Hall of Mirrors in 1986. Treat yourself and have a cocktail there, you won’t regret it!

    We invited our friends to join us this year and her words were, “It is like something out of a Hallmark movie.” The presentation and Carolers are outstanding. Hilton Netherland and Palm Court never let you down.

    Some of the buffet food was cold. Initial coffee was cold. Selection was excellent. Keith was an AMAZING server!!!!!!!!! Very attentive, responsive and helpful! He is an absolute gem!

    We thoroughly enjoyed the Dickens Brunch today. Have been to several Mother's Day brunches before. This was by far the best we've had. Our server George was FANTASTIC. The carolers were a nice touch. The valet in the hotel garage was great with our vehicle. The hotel architecture is second to none. Very classic and one of a kind steeped in history!

    Our server, George, was attentive without intruding. The service is what truly makes this place exceptional - the architecture and cuisine are impeccable, but without the top-notch staff, it wouldn’t be Orchids.

    Little slow on initial service, dining room was not ready for 10:30 reservations. Table service also started slow, but really improved! Missing some all time favorites like omelette station, eggs Benedict. There was music but no carolers.

    First, I’m very happy the Dickens Brunch is back! The Palm Court was a little rusty, but managed to recover. Guests were kept waiting en mass in the lobby and the 10:30 reservations weren’t seated until 10:40. The music (piano) didn’t start until 11:00. Missing were the carolers in Victorian era dress. The famous eggs Benedict were not on the buffet 😞 nor were the traditional English Christmas foods like Yorkshire pudding and steak and onion pie. However, great new items were added such as oysters on the half shell and lobster claws. All in all, it was most enjoyable. Perhaps, they can fine tune it a bit. Also, the added 20% gratuity was a bit much for a buffet.

    Food was very cold because the burners weren't keeping the food hot. Some food was very dried out, I'm figuring because some buffet stands weren't closing all the way. I don't eat meat so I was very disappointed when they ran out of crab legs. They also ran out of cheesecake and other desserts, for paying over 200 for 2 people I expect to be able to get what I want. I'm very saddened to put this review and wad really excited to come. I will not be attending next year.

    Terrible food and the buffet was very small. Not even half of what they used to put on. It was about a $30 per head brunch. They charged $100 per head terrible value. They did not refresh the food often and it looked very wore out. So disappointed we always in the past enjoyed the Sunday buffet at the Hilton but certainly not this time. We won’t return. Very disappointed
