Colin Miner is an amazing chef and the North Country is lucky to have him.
disappointed with the service we received this past visit
Great dinner, fun creative food. Great atmosphere. Will return!!
May have been the best meal I have ever had. We were celebrating my husbands birthday and went for the Seven Course Chef's Tasting Menu with wine pairing. Every course looked like a picture from Bon Appetit Magazine and tasted incredible! Chef Colin Miner served every course and explained in detail how each was prepared. I cannot say enough about this meal-5 stars all the way!
The food was delicious! I especially loved the scallop crudo appetizer. It was cool that the chef came out to talk to us about the meal
Great wine, wonderful food and a classy reincarnation of the hotel dining room.
Mary was our server and was one of the best we’ve had in a long time.
We will be back.
We had a group of 6 people for a holiday dinner. We all decided to go with the 7-course dinner with a wine pairing. The food and wine were amazing. We were all happily surprised by the high-quality food and how well the wine paired. My only suggestion is that the staff could be better trained in fine dining methods. Take silverware away and putting new at each course. They did not take any silverware away throughout the courses. The staff is very pleasant and we really enjoyed the story behind each course. We also had one pescatarian that they were able to accommodate.
Many options for vegetarian and gluten free. Service was outstanding
Comfortable, Delicious,Amazing Chef, Chef visited our table and gave a brief history of our choices
First visit but won't be our last. Great new chef with exciting and eclectic menu choices. Well worth a visit for special occasions and romantic date nights.
Did the 7 course tasting menu. Was absolutely incredible!!! Amazing chef and staff
Perfect in every way.
Wow! What a great dinner and overall dining experience. Our first time and my wife and I were very impressed. The waitstaff took care of our every need and were very professional. The chef was outstanding not only for his delicious food but the fact that he came to our table for each course and explained to us his reasons for the preparations. The birthday cheesecake at the end was the proverbial cherry on top. We will be back.
Our dinner here was fantastic .We had the duck appetizer and I am not an adventurous eater but each taste was great, the duck pate extraordinary it has to be tried to appreciate it. I had the beef and cabbage the beef could be cut with a fork it was so tender, my husband had the scallops which he said were fresh and not over done. At the beginning of the meal the chef brought out an appetizer for us followed by a bread course and after our duck entree a sorbet before our main course. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere comfortable and almost homey. The deserts that were offered looked good but we were to full to indulge. My only regret is this restaurant is 4 hours away. If you are in the Glen Falls NY area be sure to try this restaurant.
Great menu, food and service. Will definitely return.
This was my second dinner at Park 26 and both experiences were outstanding. This is modern, interesting, lively food with a sense of humor - aside from all that the food is delicious. Go, do not hesitate, just go.
Lovely room. We were disappointed with menu selections, which were very heavy with animal based foods. We found no salad choices or vegan
dishes. Our waitress was very good, and allowed us to select from Fenimore’s menu. Our selections were just what we wanted. I had the Lobster Cobb
Salad. I love the Queensbury Hotel, and will always recommend it. It is a real part of the treasure that is Glens Falls.
Park 26 is the perfect spot for a special occasion. Definitely fine dining. The dishes are creative and the chef and staff truly professional.
Everyone from the hostess, server, to the chef were personable. They explained their dinner the way it was served and why. And it was all well presented and the taste was more then I expected. Thank you for a truly different experience
The patio dining was lovely, the food was delicious and service was great!
Too dimly lit. Service was slow for a prefix menu. Oil and vinegar only for bread dip (typically garlic and fresh ground pepper are added). No substitute allowed for prefix appetizer which was seafood. Salad had very overripe tomatoes and was sparsely dressed.
Entree was fantastic .
Beautiful dining room with great food and service.
Would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.
This restaurant was a little disappointing for my Boyfriend and I, it started out great our waitress was very attentive and our appetizers were delicious, they even had a Gluten Free Bread option for me which most places do not.
As we went into the dinner portion our Waitress kind of "forgot" about us ... meaning she was clearly very busy with other tables, and it looked as if she was the only server on for a Saturday night. For dinner my Boyfriend received the Strip Steak, which was asked to be prepared Med- Rare, it came out Well Done which was disappointing. I ordered the Crab Stuffed Haddock .. there was little to no flavor and it was very very fishy at some points, the crab stuffing was irrelevant and had no flavor. We then went to have dessert, I ordered the Key Lime Creme Brulee.. it was not very good. The Brulee had no flavor it needed to be sweetened tremendously and the only "key lime" aspect I got was the lime garnish on the side of the plate.. Overall we would not dine here again unfortunately.
Valentine’s Day dinner and my wife was impressed...and quite happy (the rose was a nice touch!). The dinner selection was outstanding; fresh and flavorful. The wine selection could use improvement as the selection was limited. Overall, a pleasant experience and we will be back soon.
Great dining experience
Service and food amazing
Quality of food did not quite measure up to price; however, restaurant ambiance was very pleasant, and attentiveness of server was excellent. Unfortunately, there were only 2 other tables occupied the evening we were there, so it was a bit quiet; would have been nice to see a bit more business. Overall, it was a very nice experience.
Service (Wayne) was great, food was fine but portion sizes were very small. Too small for prices. And a very limited menu.
Dreary space, problematic service, lobster pappardelle: great broth, but pasta was way past al dente.
Great, well prepared food. Pleasant staff.
Worth another visit.
