Parkside District - Atlanta
Great atmosphere. Great service. Good food. Moderately priced.
First time here, food was fantastic! I met up with a girlfriend for brunch and loved the whole experience! I’m definitely coming back for the dinner portion!
Excellent food, great service, live music, all good. Our table was next to a loud group. Otherwise, it was fabulous b
A wonderful meal as always. It has become our traditional stop prior to enjoying an evening at the Aurora Theater. We look forward to our stop here as much as our trip to the Aurora!
We are delighted that there is a good place to dine in the area. However, we had been disappointed once in the past due to a menu change. This time I ordered the harvest salad which was fine but the pasta/chicken marsala was not good. The chef's idea of marsala is not mine, the sauce was too thick and paste-like. I did not taste any marsala. My husband's dish of scallops and grits was fine but we would have loved to see grilled scallops or grilled shrimp with interesting sides.
Great and friendly staff great food! Will be visiting again.
Great selection of food, but was a little underwhelmed. We've been before and this is the only time I've had any issues.
I ordered the eggs benedict and the eggs where over done. Everyone else seemed happy with what they ordered.
We were here for a Sunday Brunch, party of 4, so nothing too overwhelming. We all ordered our drinks and had to wait a significant amount of time to receive them. We ordered a second drink when our meals were delivered, but did not receive them until we were nearly done. I'm not sure if this was a hold up with the bar or our server, but it shouldn't take that long to get a drink.
We will probably go back another time. Dinner seems to go more smoothly. But it may be a while. Too bad. There menu is great.
Our waiter was off, late and appeared with limited information.
our waitress was absolutely amazing and the food was even better! Can’t wait to take my wife back for another date night.
Was looking for a light lunch with a work colleague and we each decided on a salad (one shrimp and one chicken). Both were wonderful.
Grits were way too thick, I couldn’t even eat my meal. I have been raving about this place since you opened. I bring everyone I know there, the shrimp and grits, Brussels sprouts, and creme brûlée are my favorite. The shrimp and grits were just not edible and not consistent with how they always are. And then all I wanted was the creme brulee and they told me it was not available. It was a disappointing experiencing compared to all the times I’ve been there before. I brought my mom because i was so excited to have her experience it all
Went here to celebrate my friend’s birthday. It was such a culinary treat! The cornbread, Rockefeller’s oysters, and the dessert sampler were all-stars!! Our entrées hit the spot and were full of flavor. Our cocktails were a nice compliment to our dining experience. Will definitely be back!
First time at Parkside. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We were seated in a (possibly) private party room, so we really didn’t see much of the main dining area which looked very nice. We will most certainly return!
Everything was perfect. We highly recommend.
The servers and hosts were very friendly, the ambiance amazing and the food was outstanding
The service is exceptional! Seated promptly with our reservation, the wait staff was attentive, ready to answer questions about the menu and reinforcing our selections. The menu had varied selections and all of our choices were excellent. The spicy Wing Appetizer was amazing!
Amazing food, amazing setting. And amazing bar . Definitely recommend to anyone !.
The ambience was great, the food was delicious. Also loved the music.
The food choices were amazing and everything tasted great. Great friendly staff and service. Highly recommended!!!
This was my 4th or 5th visit, and I was pleased as before! For just a moment I think I’m downtown Atlanta, yet I’m minutes from my home! Order the Brussels sprouts, Thank me later!!
Food was excellent and service was amazing. Waitress was attentive to our needs and was very apologetic when a water bug crawled on the wall next to table which she couldn’t catch. 😀Moved us without needing to request.
Took my family here to celebrate my mother’s birthday and we had an amazing time, the food and drinks we absolutely amazing! Our waitress accommodated to our needs and made sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend to any and everyone within the Atlanta area! I went for brunch and will be returning to try their dinner menu soon!
me and my boyfriend came here for a nice dinner before homecoming and definitely did not regret it! the food was outstanding and the service there is nothing less than great! i will definitely be coming back!
Everything was delicious, the drinks, the dinner (scallops and grits) and the desserts.
The food was great! The decor is awesome! Good vibe ambiance 😊
Great food and service. This is a place i live to dine
Slow service and lack of attention to detail. Unfortunate because we were there for a birthday celebration. We have visited the restaurant on the past and had a good experience, but this visit was disappointing. The food also was not anything to write home about.
What a great experience! The food was amazing and the staff were great!
Cocktails were awesome. The food was pretty good and it presentation was lovely. Only ding was the non-alcoholic beverage. Both options were run turned/sour. Even if we sent them back a manager never came over to address and the server wasn’t particularly concerned. Not cool.
Food took a bit long to come out, I received my app and main course within 5 mins of each other.
Went for a bday celebration and the manager personally came over to make sure we were ok. We stayed a bit after closing which was nice bc we came a little late as it was a surprise. Food order was correct. We also got food in a timely manner.
This was our first visit to Parkside District. The environment was nice and the food was good. But $33 for that steak and $11 for that small Margarita was a bit too much. The service was also good but the server wore a Aunt Jemima style hair wrap that was not appropriate for an upscale restaurant. We were seated in front of the kitchen windows and noticed NO ONE was wearing gloves or hair nets while handling food, plates and utensils, as well as their personal drink cups. The server with the long blonde ponytail kept moving her hair around with her bare hands before picking up customer food orders to serve them. Then, we ordered 2 Crème Brule's for dessert and was told "we are out of Crème Brule' this evening." So, we left less than impressed with Parkside District.
This was my first time here and it was amazing. We came for a friends birthday and once I got there first they sat me down right away and no wait at all. I believed our waitress named Ivy was super sweet and got us everything we needed. We’ll be coming back !
Had a wonderful time with my closest family and friends for my 40th birthday. My theme was bohemian, so the vibe on the patio fit exactly what I wanted.
Food was delicious, esp the Shrimp and Grits. The oysters and jalapeño cornbread was a hit! Loved it!!
I really like this place, I do. Today, however, brunch was an experience that fell short of what I encountered before. The menu is a refreshing take on southern fare, inventive and extensive. I also enjoyed how so many hearty options were available on the menu.
The space was empty (I was there just as they opened) and with so few patrons, the music was played too loudly and overwhelmed conversations with my friend.
I / We waited too long for coffee that was cold and tasted soapy, and in fact, at 11:15 it was odd that no decaf was ready for my guest.
Our food took too long to arrive and when it did, it too was cold. The English muffin was barely toasted, the prosciutto and eggs were also cold. Hmmm??? ...Why?
Our server was very friendly and kind - yet it would have been nice if the service was more attentive...
The saving grace was the delicious French toast. Rich, custard-y and and served warm...
I also found it odd that despite a very empty restaurant...another table with energetic kids was seated right next to us... May have just been an “off” day?
Underwhelming experience overall. Parkside District gets two stars for their decor and atmosphere. Alas, their food and service leaves much to be desired. I was disappointed with the small portions and terrible service we received. Our food tasted mediocre at best. Although the restaurant was not busy, our server was largely absent and inattentive. When you drop more than $100 at a restaurant, I believe it's fairly reasonable to expect quality food and service. Unfortunately, Parkside District does not deliver.
My date and I ate there Saturday around 7:15 PM. She ordered the crab cakes and a salad. She go deathly sick and had to go to Urgent care. I sent a review of our experience Saturday evening on your website.
I think the crab cakes were contaminated by fish or something else. The cooks need to make sure they are careful and not cross contaminate product. My meal (pressed chicken was good. Oysters are great. The collard greens had way too many stems and I didn't eat all of it.
Parkside District is a beautiful restaurant, but needs more selection of shell fish and chicken options. I will not be bringing her to your establishment again.
It was our anniversary dinner. Service was amazing. Our waitress was extremely patient and on top our needs. She knew the menu and was able to explain the ingredients of each dish.
